Multiphysics simulation and optimization of the in-situ beneficiation process of ilmenite minerals from lunar regolith

The exploration and utilization of lunar resources have become the major objectives of future lunar exploration missions. The classified collection and processing of lunar minerals is the basic prerequisite for the in-situ exploration and utilization of lunar resources. In this study, we propose a scheme for in-situ separation of magnetic minerals from lunar soils using the dry magnetic separation method. The scheme can realize the purpose of separating magnetic minerals from lunar regolith by altering the motion trajectory of lunar regolith particles with different magnetic properties. Detailed modeling of the dry magnetic separation device is conducted, and the three-dimensional distribution of magnetic parameters is calculated and analyzed. Based on the characterization and analysis of the Chang E-5's samples, the morphologies and physical parameters of lunar regolith particles are modeled and simulated. A discrete element simulation of the motion process of lunar regolith particles under multi-physical field conditions is performed, and the influences of key parameters on the beneficiation performance of lunar magnetic minerals are investigated. Our results indicate that optimal separation and beneficiation of lunar regolith particles can be achieved under specific conditions of magnetic field strength and drum speed. Additionally, we analyze the effects of lunar weak gravity conditions and the charged nature of lunar particles on the beneficiation process, showing that these factors can obviously enhance the beneficiation process of lunar ilmenites. This study demonstrates the feasibility of using the dry magnetic separation method for the beneficiation of magnetic minerals from lunar regolith, providing a theoretical basis for the scientific tasks of collecting, processing, and utilizing lunar mineral resources.

All-perovskite tandem solar cells have the potential to surpass the theoretical efficiency limit of single junction solar cells by reducing thermalization ***,the challenges encompass the oxidation of Sn2+to Sn4+and uncontrolled crystallization kinetics in Sn-Pb perovskites,leading to nonradiative recombination and compositional heterogeneity to decrease photovoltaic efficiency and operational ***,we introduced an ionic liquid additive,1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium iodide （EMIMI） into Sn-Pb perovskite precursor to form low-dimensional Sn-rich/pure-Sn perovskites at grain boundaries,which mitigates oxidation of Sn2+to Sn4+and regulates the film-forming dynamics of Sn/Pb-based perovskite *** optimized single-junction Sn-Pb perovskite devices incorporating EMIMI achieved a high efficiency of 22.87%.Furthermore,combined with wide-bandgap perovskite sub-cells in tandem device,we demonstrate 2-terminal all-perovskite tandem solar cells with a power conversion efficiency of 28.34%,achieving improved operational stability.

于2013年12月在黄石市郊区对大气颗粒物(PM_(2.5)、PM_(10)和TSP)进行系统采样,分析其污染特征,并研究大气颗粒物浓度与主要气象因子(气温、气压、相对湿度和风速)之间的相关性。结果表明,观测期间黄石市郊区PM_(2.5)、PM_(10)和TSP质量浓度变化范围分别为47.2~365.9,78.2~513.8和90.5~586.4μg/m^3,日均值分别为201.2,294.0和345.4μg/m^3,均明显超过《环境空气质量标准》(GB3095-2012)二级标准浓度限值,超标率分别达到96.8%,93.5%和61.3%,说明该地区大气颗粒物污染十分严重,特别是细颗粒物(PM_(2.5))污染;颗粒物浓度与气象因子之间相关性分析结果表明,颗粒物浓度与气温呈显著正相关,与气压呈显著负相关,而与相对湿度和风速的相关性不显著。颗粒物浓度与气象因子之间的关系较为复杂,分析可能是受不同气象因子的综合影响,也可能与气象因子之间的交互影响有关。

Two 2D wavy hexagonal hexahydroxyl cyclotricatechylene (CTC) based COFs, CTC‐COF‐2 and CTC‐COF‐3 were synthesized through solvothermal reaction. The bowl‐shaped conformation caused CTC skeletons packed in a columnar manner with the same oriented units, thus forming an undulated structure. The gas adsorption properties of CTC‐COFs were investigated, which show the potential application abilities in hydrogen storage of CTC‐COFs. The introduction of pyrene into CTC‐COF‐3 makes it a potential semiconducting π‐conjugated material.

Mitigating methodology of hardware non-ideal characteristics for non-volatile memory based neural networks

Non-volatile memory-based computing-in-memory (nvCIM) paradigm has been extensively studied to boost the energy efficiency of neural network accelerators in edge ***,the degradation of inference accuracy induced by the non-ideal characteristics across circuits,arrays,and devices is becoming a crucial *** this work,we establish a hardware characteristic behavior model to analyze the impact of nvCIM non-ideal characteristics on neural network *** we propose a hardware aware training and weight mapping correction methods to mitigate inference accuracy *** simulation verification,about 95%inference accuracy degradation is recovered by adopting the proposed mitigation method for various non-ideal characteristics and various neural network *** feasibility of the proposed method is further proved in an experimental example with a flash-based LeNet recognition system.
