0 INTRODUCTION Subduction of oceanic plate is vital for carbon redistribution and recycling between Earth's surface and mantle,which plays a critical role in shaping carbon budgets and terrestrial habitability through geological time(e.g.,Plank and Manning,2019;Sverjensky et al.,2014;Dasgupta and Hirschmann,2010).The long-term subduction of Pacific/Paleo-Pacific Plate from Late Mesozoic to Cenozoic beneath Northeast China makes this area an ideal candidate for exploring ancient carbon recycling and its impact on Earth's surface environment.

The Erlangmiao granite intrusion is located in the eastern part of the East Qinling Orogen. The granite contains almost 99 vol.% felsic minerals with accessory garnet, muscovite, biotite, zircon, and Fe-Ti oxide. Garnet is the dominant accessory mineral, shows zoned texture, and is rich in w（FeO）（14.13%--16.09%） and w（MnO）（24.21%--27.44%）. The rocks have high SiO2, alkalis, FeOt/ MgO, TiO2/MgO and low A1203, CaO with w（Na2O）/w（K20）〉 ]. Their Rb, Ga, Ta, Nb, Y, and Yb contents are high and Sr, Ba, Eu, Zr, P, and Ti contents are low. These features indicate that the Erlang- miao granite is a highly evolved metaluminous A-type. Garnet crystallized at the expense of biotite from the MnO-rich evolved melt after fractionation of biotite, plagioclase, K-feldspar, zircon, apatite, and ilmenite. The relatively high initial 878r/S6Sr ratios （0.706--0.708）, low and negative εNd （120 Ma） values （-6.6 to -9.0）, and old Nd model ages （1.5--1.7 Ga） suggest that the rocks were probably formed by partial melting of the Paleoproterozoic granitic gneisses from the basement, with participation of depleted mantle in an extensional setting.

SHRIMP U-Pb dating on magmatic zircons extracted from a riebeckite quartz syenite in the Huangyangshan pluton in Suizhou,the southern margin of Tongbai-Dabieshan yielded an age of 439±*** to the morphology and high Th/U ratios of the zircons,the age is interpreted as crystallization timing of the *** Huangyangshan pluton is composed of peralkaline quartz syenite,alkaline granite and *** of the rocks are characterized by high agpaitic index(A.I.=(Na+K)/Al,molar ratio)and Fe-number[FeO_(T)/(FeO_(T)+MgO)],low CaO and MgO contents,enrichment of high field strength elements(***,Zr,Ga,Y,Hf)and light REEs,evidently negative Eu anomalies and high Ga/Al ratios,which are consistent with anorogenic A-type *** part of the South Qinling-South Dabieshan Paleozoic alkaline rock belt,the Huangyangshan A-type granitoid pluton results from the Paleozoic extension-initial rifting in the northern margin of the Yangtze Craton related to the opening of the eastern Paleo-Tethyan Ocean.

The Tiefosi granitic pluton is located 5 km northwest of Xinyang City, northern Dabie Orogen, and was emplaced in the Proterozoic Qinling Group. SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating suggests its crystallization at 436 ± 11 Ma. It is composed of monzogranite and syenogranite containing some amounts of muscovite and few mafic minerals. The rocks are characterized by high and restricted SiO2 content, low FeO, Fe2O3 and MgO contents, high K2O/Na2O ratio, and display high-K calc-alkaline and peraluminous (ACNK>1.1) characteristics. They are generally enriched in large ion lithophile elements (LILE) and depleted in high field strength elements (HFSE). They can be divided into three groups in light of rare earth elements (REE) and trace elements. Group I is moderate in ΣREE and characterized by the absence of Eu anomaly, high (La/Yb)N ratio, and moderate Rb/Sr and Rb/Ba ratios. Group II has moderately negative Eu anomaly, low (La/Yb)N ratio and high ΣREE contents, Rb/Sr and Rb/Ba ratios. Group III displays positive Eu anomaly, moderate (La/Yb)N ratio, and low ΣREE, Rb/Sr and Rb/Ba ratios. The calculated ? Nd(440Ma) values of the rocks vary from ?8.8 to ?9.9 and Nd depleted mantle model ages are about 2.0 Ga, which resemble those of the paragneisses from the Qinling Group. The results indicate that the Tiefosi granite is crust-derived, syn-collisional S-type granite. Generation of Group I was related to low degree melting of the Qinling Group, while Group II was formed by fractionational crystallization of plagioclase from Group I magmas, and Group III resulted possibly from magma mingling with plagioclase cumulates. The Tiefosi granite was formed within crustal level related to the collision between the North China and South China blocks in the Early Paleozoic time.

The Huashanguan rapakivi pluton in Zhongxiang,Hubei Province,China,is the first discovered Proterozoic rapakivi pluton in the Yangtze *** on field and petrographical observations,a typical rapakivi texture was found in the northern portion of the Huashanguan granitic *** all the K-feldspar phenocrysts were round to oval in shape and most had plagioclase coatings known as rapakivi *** feldspars and quartz had two or more ***,the Huashanguan rapakivi granites were characterized as having high values of Si,K,Fe,Th,U,La,Ga,Ce,Sm and LREE,low values of Ca,Mg,Sr,Nb,Y and HREE,and a negative Eu *** geochemical characteristics of the Huashanguan granites were concordant with typical rapakivi granites,and had an affinity to A-type ***-ICP-MS U-Pb zircon dating also was *** dating yielded a 207Pb/206Pb weighted mean age of 1851±18 Ma (MSWD =1.2),which represents the age of the pluton *** age of 803±170 Ma at the lower intercept in the concordia diagram corresponds to the age of a later deformation event which affected the pluton,and suggests that the Huashanguan pluton was influenced by Neoproterozoic thermo-tectonic events after its *** discovery of Paleoproterozoic Huashanguan rapakivi granites indicates continental rifting or a post-orogenic extensional event that took place in the Paleoproterozoic in the Yangtze *** events may be related to the breakup of the Paleoproterozoic Columbia supercontinent.

Foliated garnet-bearing granite,usually associated with high pressure and ultrahigh-pressure(UHP) metamophic rocks,is a particular rock-type extensively exposed in the Mesozoic Dabie-Sulu orogenic belt of *** study focuses on deformation features and SHRIMP zircon dating of foliated garnet granite in a high-pressure metamorphic unit from Huwan,western Dabie Mountains in order to resolve discrepancies in current versions of its petrogenesis and structural *** dating reveals a zircon age of 762 ± 15 Ma(MSWD=1.7) for Huwan granites,representing the Middle to Late Neoproterozoic age of intrusion and *** and microstructural studies show that the Huwan granite body underwent multiple-stage *** deformation was manifested by an early stage of rootless folding and imposition of relict foliation(S1);an Indosinian main stage marked by imposition of north-dipping penetrative gneissosity(S2) and development of ductile shear zones under NNE-SSW directed compression;and a final Indosinian stage of southward thrusting of the Huwan high-pressure *** level extension prevailed after the Late Triassic,giving rise to south-dipping thrust faults and north-dipping normal faults.

The microbial dolomite model has been used to interpret the origin of sedimentary *** this model,the formation of low-temperature protodolomite,an important precursor to sedimentary dolomite,can be facilitated either by actively metabolizing cells of anaerobic microbes and aerobic halophilic archaea or by their inactive *** halophilic bacteria are widely distributed in(proto-)dolomite-depositing evaporitic environments and their biomass might serve as a template for the crystallization of *** test this hypothesis,carbonation experiments were conducted using dead biomass of an aerobic halophilic bacterium(Exiguobacterium *** JBHLT-3).Our results show that dead biomass of JBHLT-3 can accelerate Mg2+uptake in carbonate mineral *** addition,the amount of Mg incorporated into Ca-Mg carbonates is proportional to the concentration of *** Mg-calcite is produced with 0.25 or 0.5 g/L biomass,whereas protodolomite forms with 1 g/L *** is confirmed by the main Raman peak of Ca-Mg carbonates,which shifts towards higher wavenumbers with increased Mg *** cells and their imprints are preserved on the surface of high Mg-calcite and ***,this study furthers our understanding of the dolomitization within buried and dead microbial mats,which provides useful insights into the origin of ancient dolomite.

The Lomagundi-Jatuli Event（LJE） is one of the largest and earliest positive carbon isotope excursions preserving δ^（13）C_（carb） values between ＋5 and ＋16‰ in Paleoproterozoic carbonates worldwide. However, the duration, amplitude and patterns of these excursions remain poorly constrained. The 2.14-1.83 Ga Hutuo Group in the North China Craton is a 〉10 km thick volcano-sedimentary sequence, including 〉5 km thick well-preserved carbonates that were deposited in supra-tidal to sub-tidal environments. C-O isotopic and elemental analyses of 152 least altered samples of the carbonates revealed a three-stage δ^（13）C evolution. It began with an exclusively positive δ^（13）C_（carb）（＋1.3 to ＋ 3.4‰） stage in the ~2.1 Ga carbonate in the Dashiling and Qingshicun Formations, followed by a transition from positive values to oscillating positive and negative values in ~3 000 m thick carbonates of the Wenshan, Hebiancun, Jianancun, and Daguandong Formations, and end with exclusively negative δ^（13）C_（carb） values preserved in 〉 500 m thick dolostones of the Huaiyincun and Beidaxing Formations. It appears that much of the LJE, particularly those extremely positive δ^（13）C_（carb） signals, was not recorded in the Hutuo carbonates. The exclusively positive δ^（13）C_（carb） values（＋1.3 to ＋ 3.4‰） preserved in the lower formations likely correspond to the end of the LJE, whereas the subsequent two stages reflect the aftermath of the LJE and the onset of Shunga-Francevillian event（SFE）. The present data point to an increased influence of oxygen on the carbon cycle from the Doucun to the Dongye Subgroups and demonstrate that the termination of the LJE in the North China Craton is nearly simultaneous with those in Fennoscandia and South Africa.

The Ediacaran–Cambrian Phosphogenic Episode is the Earth’s first true phosphogenic event and resulted in worldwide phosphate deposits,which occurred during the processes of the Neoproterozoic Oxygenation *** Ediacaran Doushantuo Formation(ca.635–551 Ma)of Weng’an area in central Guizhou,South China,contains two economic phosphorite beds(the Lower and Upper Phosphorite Beds).This paper presents a detailed stratigraphic,sedimentological and mineralogical study of multiple outcrop and drill core sections of the Doushantuo Formation across the Weng’an area,and identified 11 lithofacies and 4 types of phosphatic *** differences in lithofacies and grain types between the upper and lower phosphate deposits are observed,indicating that the two sets of phosphate deposits are the products of two distinct phosphogenic *** Lower Phosphorite Bed mainly consists of banded and laminated phosphorites,contains micro-oncoids formed by microbially-mediated precipitation and peloids formed by in-situ chemically oscillating reactions,indicating a biochemical and chemical enrichment of phosphorus to sediments during the Early Ediacaran *** Upper Phosphorite Bed is mainly composed of carbonaceous,massive,and stromatolitic phosphorites,contains bioclasts(phosphatized spheroidal fossils),and intraclasts formed by hydrodynamic agitation,suggesting that the major accesses of phosphorus to sediments were the remineralization of organic *** of the two economic phosphorite beds was controlled by two sea-level *** differences have also been documented in contemporaneous phosphate-bearing successions in Brazil and Mangolia,indicating a significant shift in global phosphogenic mechanism during the early and middle Ediacaran,which may be due to the changes in redox conditions in seawater,associated with the Neoproterozoic Oxygenation *** regional active P-cycle processes could produce more free oxygen,which may have contributed to the up
