Inflammatory and Immunomodulatory Effects of Tripterygium wilfordii Multiglycoside in Mouse Models of Psoriasis Keratinocytes

Objective:To determine the role of Tripterygium wilfordii multiglycoside(TGW) in the treatment of psoriatic dermatitis from a cellular immunological ***:Mouse models of psoriatic dermatitis were established by imiquimod(IMQ).Twelve male BALB/c mice were assigned to MQ or IMQ+TGW groups according to a random number *** changes in vivo were assessed by hematoxylin and eosin *** of immune cells and cytokines in mice,as well as PAM212 cell proliferation in vitro were assessed by flow ***-inflammatory cytokine expression was determined using reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain ***:TGW significantly ameliorated the severity of IMQ-induced psoriasis-like mouse skin lesions and restrained the activation of CD45^(+)cells,neutrophils and T lymphocytes(all P<0.01).Moreover,TGW significantly attenuated keratinocytes(KCs) proliferation and downregulated the mRNA levels of inflammatory cytokines including interleukin(IL)-17A,IL-23,tumor necrosis factor α,and chemokine(C-X-C motif) ligand 1(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Furthermore,it reduced the number of γδ T17 cells in skin lesion of mice and draining lymph nodes(P<0.01).Conclusions:TGW improved psoriasis-like inflammation by inhibiting KCs proliferation,as well as the associated immune cells and cytokine *** inhibited IL-17 secretion from γδ T cells,which improved the immune-inflammatory microenvironment of psoriasis.

In this paper,we present an electrically controlled tunable narrowband filter based on a thin-film lithium niobate two-dimensional(2D)photonic *** filter incorporates a photonic crystal microcavity structure within the straight waveguide,enabling electronic tuning of the transmitted wavelength through added electrode *** optimized microcavity filter design achieves a balance between high transmission rate and quality factor,with a transmission center wavelength of 1551.6 nm,peak transmission rate of 96.1%,and quality factor of ***,the filter can shift the central wavelength of the transmission spectrum by applying voltage to the electrodes,with a tuning sensitivity of 13.8 pm/*** proposed tunable filter adopts a simple-to-fabricate air-hole structure and boasts a compact size(length:11.57μm,width:5.27μm,area:60.97μm^(2)),making it highly suitable for large-scale *** features make the filter promising for broad applications in the fields of photonic integration and optical communication.

Lithium isotopic fractionation in minerals from pegmatites: Perspective of crystal chemistry

Lack of information regarding lithium (Li) crystal chemistry in numerous minerals， especially those containing trace amounts of Li (ranging from few to tens of ppm)， limits our understanding of Li isotopic fractionation in pegmatites. In this study， we examined the Li isotopic composition and Li content in various Li-poor (e.g.， quartz or feldspar) together with Li-rich (sopdumene or lepidolite) mineral phases within granitic pegmatites. We compiled a comprehensive dataset， encompassing a broad spectrum of Li contents (ranging from a few to tens of thousands of ppm) and Li isotopic values (-8‰ to 41‰). The minerals exhibited distinct Li isotopic signatures. Specifically， elbaite and beryl showed the highest values， while biotite displayed a negative average. Compared to individual minerals， whole rocks demonstrated lower Li isotopic values， with pegmatites exhibiting the highest and non-granitic pegmatite wall rocks showing the lowest. Our study also uncovered a clear "V" shape relationship between Li isotopic values and logarithm of Li content， with different mineral groups occupying specific regions within this shape. Furthermore， a significant correlation was observed between average Li isotopic values and Li-O(OH， F) bond lengths in various minerals. These discoveries underscore the crucial role of crystal chemistry in shaping the Li isotopic behavior in pegmatites from a statistical perspective.

Predictor and ESO-based adaptive tracking control of heterogeneous vehicle platoon

This paper investigates the distributed adaptive platoon tracking problem of third-order heterogeneous vehicles subject to model uncertainties. The design process is divided into two steps. Firstly, an adaptive tracking controller is designed for the dynamic leading vehicle. And then, the distributed adaptive controllers are established for followers. Moreover, the predictor technique is used to improve the estimate performance of the adaptive law, and the total disturbance is approximated and compensated by the variable gain nonlinear extended state observers(NESOs) driven by the estimation error. By introducing the variable gain hyperbolic tangent tracking differentiator(HTTD), the “complexity explosion” problem is avoided. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed protocol are verified by simulation tests.

Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have emerged as a promising photovoltaic technology because of their high light absorption coefficient,long carrier diffusion distance,and tunable ***,PSCs face challenges such as hysteresis effects and stability *** this study,we introduced a novel approach to improve film crystallization by leveraging 4-tert-butylpyridine(TBP)molecules,thereby enhancing the performance and stability of *** findings demonstrate the effective removal of PbI_(2)from the perovskite surface through strong coordination with TBP ***,by carefully adjusting the concentration of the TBP solution,we achieved enhanced film crystallinity without disrupting the perovskite *** TBP-treated perovskite films exhibit a low defect density,improved crystallinity,and improved carrier *** a result,the PSCs manufactured with TBP treatment achieve power conversion efficiency(PCE)exceeding 24%.Moreover,we obtained the PCE of 21.39%for the 12.25 cm^(2)module.

Research on Low-frequency Multi-directional Piezoelectric Energy Harvester with Combined Cantilever Beam

In order to realize the collection and utilization of low-frequency vibration energy, a multi-directional piezoelectric energy harvester is proposed, which consists of a lower circular arc beam and an upper L-shaped *** the lower and upper beams can achieve multi-directional energy harvesting, and the upper L-shaped beam can also act as a mass block to reduce the resonant frequency. The structure of this energy harvester is optimized. Four different structures are studied with varying combination angles between the upper and lower layers to acquire data related to resonant frequency, vibration shape, stress distribution, open-circuit voltage, and output power. Additionally, the performance of each structure is comprehensively prepared and measured to verify its effectiveness. The optimal structure achieved a resonant frequency of 11 Hz and an output power of 57.1 μW at the optimal load resistance of 201 kΩ. Consequently, this work provides valuable reference for the study of low-frequency vibration energy harvesting technology.

Mediating Effect of Mindfulness,Self-Esteem and Psychological Resilience in the Relation between Childhood Maltreatment and Life Satisfaction

Childhood maltreatment,as a typical early adverse environment,is known to have a negative impact on one’s life ***,on the other hand,may serve as a protective *** study explored the mediating role of mindfulness and its related variables–positive thoughts,psychological resilience and *** order to testify the mechanism,we administered Childhood Trauma Questionnaire(CTQ),Satisfaction with Life Scale(SWLS),Mindful Attention Awareness Scale(MAAS),Connor–Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale(RSES)to a non-clinical sample of Chinese university students(N=1021).The results indicated that positive thoughts did not mediate the relationship between childhood maltreatment and life satisfaction,but self-esteem(β=−0.194,95%CI=[−0.090,−0.040])and psychological resilience(β=−0.063,95%CI=[−0.059,−0.020])mediated the relationship,as well as the“mindfulness-selfesteem”(β=−0.061,95%CI=[−0.287,−0.126])and“mindfulness-psychological resilience”(β=−0.035,95%CI=[−0.115,−0.034]).The results of this study were helpful to understand the relationship between childhood maltreatment and life satisfaction and provided a theoretical basis for the development of mindfulness intervention programs from the perspective of positive psychology.

Boosted Electrocatalytic Glucose Oxidation Reaction on Noble-Metal-Free MoO_(3)-Decorated Carbon Nanotubes

Electrocatalytic glucose oxidation reaction(GOR)has attracted much attention owing to its crucial role in biofuel cell ***,we load MoO_(3)nanoparticles on carbon nanotubes(CNTs)and use a discharge process to prepare a noblemetal-free MC-60 catalyst containing MoO_(3),Mo_(2)C,and a Mo_(2)C–MoO_(3)*** the GOR,MC-60 shows activity as high as 745μA/(mmol/L cm^(2)),considerably higher than those of the Pt/CNT(270μA/(mmol/L cm^(2)))and Au/CNT catalysts(110μA/(mmol/L cm^(2))).In the GOR,the response minimum on MC-60 is as low as 8μmol/L,with a steady-state response time of only 3 ***,MC-60 has superior stability and anti-interference ability to impurities in the *** better performance of MC-60 in the GOR is attributed to the abundant Mo sites bonding to C and O atoms at the MoO_(3)–Mo_(2)C *** Mo sites create active sites for promoting glucose adsorption and oxidation,enhancing MC-60 performance in the ***,these results help to fabricate more effi cient noble-metal-free catalysts for the fabrication of glucose-based biofuel cells.

脆蛇蜥(Dopasia harti)是主要分布在中国的受胁爬行动物,为国家二级重点保护野生动物。到目前为止,脆蛇蜥野生种群资源和生境偏好尚缺乏系统研究。作者在2020年对峨眉山及周边区域的居民进行了问卷调查,2023年根据问卷调查结果在脆蛇蜥出现地点进行了实地调查,设置样方以探究脆蛇蜥的生境选择。对调查问卷结果及实地调查的各生境因子占比进行统计分析,并对生境因子进行主成分分析后发现:在峨眉山及其周边地区,脆蛇蜥野生种群数量因人为捕捉和栖息地变化等原因普遍下降,其分布已退缩至峨眉山市高桥镇、绥山镇、龙池镇、黄湾镇,夹江县华头镇和眉山市洪雅县柳江镇。峨眉山地区脆蛇蜥偏向选择位于中低海拔地区(主要为800~1200 m)、半阴半阳坡、距离水源大于50 m、草本高度大于6 cm且植被覆盖率为10%~75%土壤疏松的阔叶林中。根据此次调查,脆蛇蜥受到的干扰因子主要为道路建设和种植业。在脆蛇蜥保护方面,建议优化道路建设,避免破坏脆蛇蜥栖息地;推广生态友好产品种植,推广自然生态旅游,减少对脆蛇蜥栖息地的破坏;以及加强对周边民众的科普教育,提高人们的保护意识。
