Physics-informed machine learning model for prediction of ground reflected wave peak overpressure

The accurate prediction of peak overpressure of explosion shockwaves is significant in fields such as explosion hazard assessment and structural protection, where explosion shockwaves serve as typical destructive elements. Aiming at the problem of insufficient accuracy of the existing physical models for predicting the peak overpressure of ground reflected waves, two physics-informed machine learning models are constructed. The results demonstrate that the machine learning models, which incorporate physical information by predicting the deviation between the physical model and actual values and adding a physical loss term in the loss function, can accurately predict both the training and out-oftraining dataset. Compared to existing physical models, the average relative error in the predicted training domain is reduced from 17.459%-48.588% to 2%, and the proportion of average relative error less than 20% increased from 0% to 59.4% to more than 99%. In addition, the relative average error outside the prediction training set range is reduced from 14.496%-29.389% to 5%, and the proportion of relative average error less than 20% increased from 0% to 71.39% to more than 99%. The inclusion of a physical loss term enforcing monotonicity in the loss function effectively improves the extrapolation performance of machine learning. The findings of this study provide valuable reference for explosion hazard assessment and anti-explosion structural design in various fields.

The metastable phase 3c-Fe7S8 with the hexagonal platelet morphology has been prepared by using solvothermal route. The product was characterized by means of X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS). The experiment results show that the as-prepared Fe7S8 is a metastable phase with the hexagonal platelet morphology.

Intestinal colonization with Candida albicans and mucosal immunity

AIM: To observe the relationship between intestinal lumen colonization with Candida albicans and mucosal secretory IgA (sIgA).METHODS: A total of 82 specific-pathogen-free mice were divided randomly into control and colonization groups. After Candida albicans were inoculated into specific-pathogen-free mice, the number of Candida albicans adhering to cecum and mucosal membrane was counted. The lymphocyte proliferation in Peyer's patch and in lamina propria was shown by BrdU incorporation, while mucosal sIgA (surface membrane) isotype switch in Peyer's patch was investigated. IgA plasma cells in lamina propria were observed by immunohistochemical staining. Specific IgA antibodies to Candida albicans were measured with ***: From d 3 to d 14 after Candida albicansgavaging to mice, the number of Candida albicans colonizing in lumen and adhering to mucosal membrane was sharply *** albicans translocation to mesenteric lymph nodes occurred at early time points following gavage administration and disappeared at later time points. Meanwhile, the content of specific IgA was increased obviously. Proliferation and differentiation of lymphocytes in lamina propria were also ***: Lymphocytes in lamina propria play an important role in intestinal mucosal immunity of specific-pathogen-free mice when they are first inoculated with Candida albicans. The decreasing number of Candida albicans in intestine is related to the increased level of specific IgA antibodies in the intestinal mucus.

Inhibition of TYRO3/Akt signaling participates in hypoxic injury in hippocampal neurons

In this study, we investigated the role of the TYRO3/Akt signaling pathway in hypoxic injury to hippocampal neurons. 3-（4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl）-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay showed that hypoxia inhibited the proliferation and viability of hippocampal neurons. Terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated d UTP nick end labeling assay demonstrated that hypoxia induced neuronal apoptosis in a time-dependent manner, with a greater number of apoptotic cells with longer hypoxic exposure. Immunofluorescence labeling revealed that hypoxia suppressed TYRO3 expression. Western blot assay showed that hypoxia decreased Akt phosphorylation levels in a time-dependent manner. Taken together, these findings suggest that hypoxia inhibits the proliferation of hippocampal neurons and promotes apoptosis, and that the inhibition of the TYRO3/Akt signaling pathway plays an important role in hypoxia-induced neuronal injury.

Efficient quantum state transmission via perfect quantum network coding

Quantum network coding with the assistance of auxiliary resources can achieve perfect transmission of the quantum state. This paper suggests a novel perfect network coding scheme to efficiently solve the quantum k-pair problem, in which only a few assisting resources are introduced. Specifically, only one pair of maximally entangled state needs to be pre-shared between two intermediate nodes, and only O(k) of classical information is transmitted though the network. Moreover, the classical communication used in our protocol does not cause transmission congestion, providing better adaptability to large-scale quantum k-pair *** relevant analyses and comparisons, we demonstrate that our proposed scheme saves resources and has good application value, thereby showing its high efficiency. Furthermore, the proposed scheme achieves 1-max flow quantum communication, and the achievable rate region result is extended from its counterpart over the butterfly network.

Preparation of porous titanium materials by powder sintering process and use of space holder technique

Snare-assisted flexible endoscope in trans-gastric endoscopic gallbladder-preserving surgery:A pilot animal study

BACKGROUND Natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery(NOTES)gallbladder-preserving surgery by flexible endoscopy is an emerging ***,the gallbladder fails to obtain traction and positioning functions during the *** To evaluate the feasibility and safety of a new surgical method,“snare-assisted pure NOTES gallbladder-preserving surgery”.METHODS Eight miniature pigs were randomly divided into the experimental group[NOTES gallbladder-preserving surgery using the snare device,snare assisted(SA)]and the control group(NOTES gallbladder-preserving surgery without using the snare device,NC),with four cases in each *** differences between the two groups of animals in operating time,operating workload,complications,adverse events,white blood cells,and liver function were *** No differences were found in the surgical success rate,gallbladder incision closure,white blood cell count,or liver function between the two *** total operating time,gallbladder incision blood loss,gallbladder disorientation time,gallbladder incision closure time,and workload scores on the National Aeronautics and Space Administration-Task Load Index were significantly reduced in the SA group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION These results indicated that snare-assisted pure NOTES gallbladder-preservation surgery using standard endoscopic instruments reduced the difficulty of operation,shortened operation time,and did not increase complications in pigs.A new method for pure NOTES gallbladder-preservation surgery was provided.

Survival of patients with stomach cancer in Changle city of China

AIM: The survival rate of patients with stomach cancer is used to evaluate the effects of treatments. The short- and mid-term survival of patients on the present level of treatments can be described by calculating 1- to 5-year survival rates. The aims of this study were to document patterns of survival after treatments for stomach cancer in Changle city and analyze whether the stage of cancer and the way of treatment impacted on survival of patients or not. METHODS: A total number of 745 patients with stomach cancer reported in the Changle Cancer Registry from 1993 to 1998 were investigated with respect to the disease condition, the way of treatment and survival time. 1- to 5- year survival rates were estimated by using life-table method. RESULTS: The 1- to 5-year survival rates in the patients with stomach cancer in Changle city were 54.23%, 41.77%, 37.95%, 33.98% and 30.47%, respectively. The 1- to 5-year survival rates in stageIor II group were 3, 6.1, 7.4, 8.9 and 9.8 times as high as those in stage III or IV group, respectively. The 1- to 5-year survival rates in operation group were 3.5, 8.7, 11.2, 11.7 and 19 times as high as those in no operation group, respectively. For the patients with stage III or IV stomach cancer the 1-year survival rate in operation group was 3 times as high as that in no operation group and 2- year survival rate in operation group was 11.9 times as high as that in no operation group. For the patients wibh stage III or 1V stomach cancer, the differences of the survival rates average survival times between total gastrectomy and partial gastrectomy were not significant and the median survival times in these 2 groups were 8 mo and 9 mo, respectively. CONCLUSION: Mid-term survival rates of patients with stomach cancer in Changle city are low. Stage of cancer is an important factor influencing survival of patients with stomach cancer.
