In this paper, tile authors first study two kinds of stochastic differential equations （SDEs） with Levy processes as noise source. Based on the existence and uniqueness of the solutions of these SDEs and multi-dimensional backward stochastic differential equations （BSDEs） driven by Levy pro- cesses, the authors proceed to study a stochastic linear quadratic （LQ） optimal control problem with a Levy process, where the cost weighting matrices of the state and control are allowed to be indefinite. One kind of new stochastic Riccati equation that involves equality and inequality constraints is derived from the idea of square completion and its solvability is proved to be sufficient for the well-posedness and the existence of optimal control which can be of either state feedback or open-loop form of the LQ problems. Moreover, the authors obtain the existence and uniqueness of the solution to the Riccati equation for some special cases. Finally, two examples are presented to illustrate these theoretical results.

Probe machine(PM) is a recently reported mathematic model with massive parallelism. Herein,we presented searching the maximum clique of an undirected graph with six vertices. We constructed data library containing n sublibraries, each sublibrary corresponded to a vertex in the given graph. Then, probe library according to the induced subgraph was designed in order to search and generate all maximal cliques. Subsequently,we performed probe operation, and all maximal cliques were generated in parallel. The advantages of the proposed model lie in two aspects. On one hand, solution to NP-complete problem is generated in just one step of probe operation rather than found in vast solution *** the other hand, the proposed model is highly *** work demonstrates that PM is superior to TM in terms of searching capacity when tackling NP-complete problem.

In this article, we present the promise of a new method generating double electron pulses in picosecondscale pulse length and tunable interpulse spacing at several picoseconds. This has witnessed an impressive potential of application in pump–probe techniques, two-color X-ray free electron laser, high-gradient witness bunch acceleration in a plasma, etc. Three-dimensional simulations are carried out to analyze the dynamic of the electron beam in a linear accelerator. Comparisons are made between the new method and existing ways.

A two-stage echo-enabled harmonic generation(EEHG)scheme is proposed for a superconducting linacdriven FEL to produce coherent hard *** beams of quite different bunch lengths are separately used in each stage of EEHG,and a monochromator is designed to purify the radiation from the first stage for seeding the second *** analysis and 3D simulations indicate that the proposed scheme can generate high-repetition-rate coherent hard X-ray pulses directly from a conventional UV seed laser.

In response to the need for robust black-start strategies in modern smart grids during blackouts,this paper proposes a two-stage black-start model that integrates wind turbines(WT),photovoltaic generators(PV),and energy storage systems(ESS).The system restoration path model in the first stage utilizes the Dijkstra algorithm to create a skeleton network and formulate a post-outage generator start-up *** second stage involved a load pick-up model,structured as a mixed-integer linear programming problem,aimed at restoring the load with the assistance of the *** stage was designed for computational efficiency,allowing solutions to be obtained using standard commercial *** performance and efficacy of the proposed model were demonstrated through its application to modified IEEE 39/118-bus transmission systems,with the results affirming its high efficiency and effectiveness in power system restoration scenarios.

We report on the design,fabrication,and characterization of a micro plane-plane geometry CMOS device,which has a heat emitter and a heat receiver,capable of studying the near-field radiative heat transfer at a 550nm *** high vacuum conditions,the heat emitter is heated by supplying driving currents and heated again after removing the heat *** heating power difference between the two kinds of heating experiments indicates the existence of a proximity effect in the heat transfer between the emitter and the *** experiments pave the way towards overcoming the construction difficulty of plane-plane geometry with a nanometer gap.

Designed ZrxSi1-xO2 films with combining bent and flat energy bands are employed as a charge trapping layer for memory *** to a single bent energy band,the bandgap structure with combining bent and flat energy bands exhibits larger memory window,faster program/erase speed,lower charge loss even at 200℃ for 104s,and wider temperature insensitive *** tunneling thickness together with electron recaptured efficiency in the trapping layer,and the balance of two competing electron loss mechanisms in the bent and flat energy band regions collectively contribute to the improved memory ***,the proposed ZrxSi1-xO2 with combining bent and flat energy bands should be a promising candidate for future nonvolatile memory applications,taking into consideration of the trade-off between the operation speed and retention characteristics.

A genetic algorithm （GA） was studied to simultaneously determine the thermal transport properties and the contact resistance of thin films deposited on a thick substrate. A pulsed photothermal reflectance （PPR） system was employed for the measurements. The GA was used to extract the thermal properties. Measurements were performed on SiO2 thin films of different thicknesses on silicon substrate. The results show that the GA accompanied with the PPR system is useful for the simultaneous determination of thermal properties of thin films on a substrate.
