To enhance the interface bonding of polyimide(PI)/carbon fiber(CF)composites,CFs were functionalized by introducing a polydopamine(PDA)transition layer,whose active groups provide absorption sites for the growth of molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))nanosheets and improve the bonding strength with *** and dense MoS_(2) nanosheets with thicknesses of 30–40 nm on the surface of the PDA@CF were obtained via a subsequent hydrothermal *** a result,the interface between the CF and the PI matrix becomes more compact with the help of the PDA transition layer and MoS_(2) *** is beneficial in forming PI/CF–MoS_(2) composites with better thermal stability,higher tensile strength,and enhanced tribological *** lubricating and reinforcing effects of the hybrid CF–MoS_(2) in the PI composite are discussed in *** tensile strength of the PI/CF–MoS_(2) composite increases by 43%,and the friction coefficient and the wear rate reduce by 57%and 77%,respectively,compared to those of the pure *** values are higher than those of the PI/CF composites without MoS_(2) *** results indicate that the CF–MoS_(2) hybrid material can be used as an additive to improve the mechanical and tribological properties of polymers.

Acid-stable and highly active catalysts for the electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)are paramount to the advancement of electrochemical technologies for clean energy conversion and *** this work,based on the density functional theory(DFT)calculations,we systematically investigated the MSb_(2)O_(6)(M=Fe,Co,and Ni)and transition metal(TM)doped MSb_(2)O_(6)(TM-MSb_(2)O_(6),TM=Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,Zn,Ru,Rh,Pd,Ir,and Pt)as potential antimonate-based electrocatalysts for the *** stability and OER activity of these considered electrocatalysts were systematically studied under acidic *** was found that Rh-NiSb_(2)O_(6),Pt-CoSb_(2)O_(6),Rh-FeSbO4,and Co-NiSb_(2)O_(6)can serve as efficient and stable OER electrocatalysts,and their OER catalytic activities are better than that of the current state-of-the-art OER catalyst(IrO2).Our findings highlight a family of promising antimonate-based OER electrocatalysts for future experimental verification.

Ethylene-responsive factors （ERFs） are important regulators of plant gene expression. In this study, three novel ERF genes, GhERF2, GhERF3 and GhERF6, were isolated from cotton （Gossypium hirstum） using rapid amplification of cDNA ends-polymerase chain reaction. Transient expression analysis using GhERF-green fluorescent protein fusions showed that these three proteins were targeted to the nucleus. Fusion proteins consisting of GhERF2, GhERF3 or GhERF6 coupled to the GAL4 DNA binding domain strongly activated transcription in yeast. Furthermore, GhERF6 was shown to be able to bind specifically to GCC boxes using a particle bombardment assay in tobacco cells. Semi-quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction revealed that GhERF2 and GhERF3 are constitutively expressed in all organs, while GhERF6 is only constitutively expressed in vegetative organs. When plants were treated with ethylene, abscisic acid, salt, cold and drought, the transcripts of GhERF2, GhERF3 and GhERF6 were rapidly induced to high levels. Promoter analysis also indicated that the 5＇ upstream regions of the three genes possess elements induced by these physiological and environmental factors. Collectively, our data suggest that GhERF2, GhERF3 and GhERF6 might function as positive trans-acting factors in the plant responses to ethylene, abscisic acid and other stresses and provide useful clues for further research into the mechanism of them in regulating cotton multiple stress responses.

Auroral Kilometric Radiation (AKR) is a common radio emission,which can contribute to the magnetosphere-ionosphereatmosphere co u *** emissions have been observed in all magnetic planet magnetospheres of the solar *** this study,using observations from the FAST satellite from 30 August 1996 to 9 September 2001,the distribution of AKR in altitude=500-4500 km and invariant latitude (|ILAT|)=60°-80°has been analyzed.63045 AKR samples have been identified with~48%(52%) samples on the dayside (nightside).Of considerable interest,there is a distinct MLT asymmetry with the high occurrence rate in MLT=05-08 and 18-22(02-05 and 12-17) in the northern (southern) *** distinct MLT asymmetry is associated with the direction of Bxof the interplaneta ry magnetic *** addition,the occurrence rate on the nightside clearly increases as the AE^(*) index *** study further enriches the information and understanding of AKR in the magnetosphere as well as other similar radio emissions.

We propose a reputation-based cooperative spectrum sensing scheme in cognitive radio (CR) networks to solve the uncertainty resulting from the multipath fading and shadowing effect. In the proposed scheme, each cooperative CR user has a reputation degree that is initialized and adjusted by the central controller, and used to weight the sensing result from the corresponding CR user in the linear fusion process at the central controller. A simple method for adjusting the reputation degree of CR users is also presented. We analyzed and evaluated the detection performance of the reputation-based cooperative spectrum sensing scheme. Simulation results showed that our proposed scheme alleviates the problem of corrupted detection resulting from destructive channel conditions between the primary transmitter and the CR user. The performance of our proposed scheme was improved compared to the average-based linear cooperation scheme, and was similar to that of the optimal linear cooperation scheme with feasible computational complexity. Moreover, our proposed scheme does not require knowledge of channel statistics.

Active Magnetic Bearing(AMB) is a kind of electromagnetic support that makes the rotor movement frictionless and can suppress rotor vibration by controlling the magnetic force. The most common approach to restrain the rotor vibration in AMBs is to adopt a notch filter or adaptive filter in the AMB controller. However, these methods cannot obtain the precise amplitude and phase of the compensation current. Thus, they are not so effective in terms of suppressing the vibrations of the fundamental and other harmonic orders over the whole speed range. To improve the vibration suppression performance of AMBs,an adaptive filter based on Least Mean Square(LMS) is applied to extract the vibration signals from the rotor displacement signal. An Iterative Search Algorithm(ISA) is proposed in this paper to obtain the corresponding relationship between the compensation current and vibration signals. The ISA is responsible for searching the compensating amplitude and shifting phase online for the LMS filter, enabling the AMB controller to generate the corresponding compensation force for vibration suppression. The results of ISA are recorded to suppress vibration using the Look-Up Table(LUT) in variable speed range. Comprehensive simulations and experimental validations are carried out in fixed and variable speed range, and the results demonstrate that by employing the ISA, vibrations of the fundamental and other harmonic orders are suppressed effectively.

Si-containing Mg alloys solidified at conventional rates often contain coarse and sharp Mg2Si phases,which can result in inferior material *** this study,Mg-6wt.%Si （Mg-6Si） alloy was prepared by wire arc additive manufacturing （WAAM）,employing the gas tungsten arc welding technique with rapid *** microstructures and mechanical properties of the WAAM alloy were investigated and compared with those of the as-cast samples produced using a metal *** results indicate that the WAAM Mg-6Si is harder and stronger than the as-cast *** microhardness of the WAAM Mg-6Si increases by 36.6%in comparison to that of as-cast Mg-6Si ***,the average tensile strengths at room temperature and 150°C increases by 63.4%and 21.3%,*** refines both the Mg2Si phase and the overall grains,resulting in a homogeneous morphology and improved mechanical *** granular Mg2Si phase,characterized by fine particles with a diffused distribution,shows a significant increase in *** acicular Mg2Si phase is distributed along the grain boundaries,and its concentration significantly *** average grain size of the Mg2Si phase is about 9.20μm,about 5 times *** refinement and distribution of the granular Mg2Si phase,as well as the reduction in the amount of needle-like Mg2Si particles,are the key factors for improving the mechanical properties of WAAM Mg-6Si alloy.

The complex physical properties of supercritical water(SCW)make the heat transfer characteristics of particles within a particle cluster *** heat transfer characteristics of single particle within a particle cluster in SCW,influenced by surrounding particles,have not been effectively *** numerical simulations were conducted to investigate the heat transfer characteristics of particle clusters in SCW under different *** results were compared and analyzed with those from constant property *** was found that Reynolds number(Re)and the void fraction of particle cluster have no special effects on the variation trends of Nusselt number(Nu)for the focused ***,the particle temperature had a significant effect on the variation trends of *** effect of Re on the heat transfer rate exponent(η)of the focused particle can be divided into two zones:a significant effect zone and a non-significant effect *** effect of void fraction onηin the non-significant effect zone was *** the non-significant effect zone,ηdecreased with the increasing particle *** the significant effect zone,the variation trends ofηbecame more *** fundamental reason for this series of phenomena is the changes in distribution of physical properties.A model forηwas developed for the non-significant effect *** model can filter out the effects of Re and certain particle cluster spatial configurations,and it demonstrates good predictive performance.
