The mechanical behavior and microstructural evolution of an Fe-30Mn-3Al-3Si twinninginduced plasticity(TWIP)steel processed using warm forging was *** is found that steel processed via warm forging improves comprehensive mechanical properties compared to the TWIP steel processed via cold rolling,with a high tensile strength(R_(m))of 793 MPa,a yield strength(R_(P))of 682 MPa,an extremely large R_(P)/R_(m)ratio as high as 0.86 as well as an excellent elongation rate of 46.8%.The microstructure observation demonstrates that steel processed by warm forging consists of large and elongated grains together with fine,equiaxed *** micro-defect configurations were also observed within the steel,including dense dislocation networks and a few coarse deformation *** the plastic deformation proceeds,the densities of dislocations and deformation twins significantly ***,a great number of slip lines could be observed in the elongated *** findings reveal that a much more dramatic interaction between microstructural defect and dislocations glide takes place in the forging sample,wherein the fine and equiaxed grains propagated dislocations more rapidly,together with initial defect configurations,are responsible for enhanced strength ***,larger,elongated grains with more prevalently activated deformation twins result in high plasticity.

A novel approach to fabricate Zn coating on Mg foam through a modified thermal evaporation technique

Zn enriched coatings with distinct microstructures and properties were fabricated on Mg foams by a modified thermal evaporation technique using a tubular resistance furnace. As the temperature and kinetic energy of Zn vapor varied along the tubular system, a spatial variation of preparation conditions was created and the obtained coatings were found to follow two growth mechanisms： a thermal diffusion pattern in high-temperature zone and the a relatively low-temperature deposition model. AZn-based deposition coating with dense texture and nearly uniform structure was acquired while Mg foam was placed 20 cm far from the evaporation source, where the Zn vapor deposition model dominated the coating *** properties and bio-corrosion behaviors of the samples were investigated. Results showed that the Zn coatings brought dramatic improvements in compression strength, but exhibited differently in biodegradation performance. It was confirmed that the diffusion layer accelerated corrosion of Mg foam due to the galvanic effect, while the Zn-based deposition coating displayed excellent anti-corrosion performance, showing great potential as bone implant materials. This technique provides a novel and convenient approach to tailor the biodegradability of Mg foams for biomedical applications.

采用扫描电镜、透射电镜、拉伸试验机和热电性能分析系统等研究了退火对Cu-24%Ag合金显微组织、力学性能以及电学性能的影响,通过构建电子界面散射模型对合金导电机制进行了研究。结果表明,通过退火对Cu-24%Ag合金的显微组织进行了有效调控,改善了其综合性能。与冷轧态相比,合金经350℃退火1 h后,抗拉强度下降至冷轧态的95%,合金导电率提升了4%IACS。经450℃退火1 h,由于Ag纤维的溶解,合金的抗拉强度显著下降,只有冷轧态的一半左右;Ag纤维的溶解降低了电子的散射几率,使得导电率大幅度提升。因此,合金在350℃退火1 h后综合性能最佳,其抗拉强度和导电率分别为622 MPa和81%IACS。

Automatic modeling algorithm of stochastic error for inertial sensors

This paper proposes an automatic algorithm to determine the properties of stochastic processes and their parameters for inertial error. The proposed approach is based on a recently developed method called the generalized method of wavelet moments (GMWM), whose estimator was proven to be consistent and asymptotically normally distributed. This algorithm is suitable mainly (but not only) for the combination of several stochastic processes, where the model identification and parameter estimation are quite difficult for the traditional methods, such as the Allan variance and the power spectral density analysis. This algorithm further explores the complete stochastic error models and the candidate model ranking criterion to realize automatic model identification and determination. The best model is selected by making the trade-off between the model accuracy and the model complexity. The validation of this approach is verified by practical examples of model selection for MEMS-IMUs (micro-electro-mechanical system inertial measurement units) in varying dynamic conditions.

One dimensional CeO_(2) nanorods/poly(ethylene oxide) solid composite electrolyte for all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries

The research of poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)-based solid composite electrolyte with high ionic conductivity and excellent interfacial stability is the key to the development of all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries(ASSLIBs). Herein, uniform nanorod structured CeO_(2) fillers were controllably synthesized by electrospinning, which were subsequently filled into PEO polymer to prepare CeO_(2)/PEO solid composite electrolyte. The addition of CeO_(2) nanorods can reduce both the glass transition temperature and the melting point of PEO polymer, and also interact with PEO and lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulphonyl)imide(LITFSI) by Lewis acid—base reaction. Therefore, the solid composite electrolyte exhibits a high ionic conductivity of 4.52 × 10^(-4)S/cm, a wide electrochemical stability window of about 4.8 V, and a good interfacial stability with Li at 55℃. Moreover, the LiFePO_4/Li ASSLIB divulges the discharging specific capacity of 165, 162, 156 and 146 mA,h/g at 0.2, 0.5, 1 and 2 C, respectively, and achieves the capacity retention of 90.3% after 150 cycles at 0.5 C. Consequently, one dimensional CeO_(2) nanorods can be considered as an alternative filler for polymeric solid electrolyte.

Achieving higher accuracy positioning results in urban environments at a lower cost has been an important pursuit in areas such as autonomous driving and intelligent *** Inertial Navigation System and Global Navigation Satellite System(INS/GNSS)integrated navigation systems have been an important means of fulfilling the above quest due to the complementary error characteristics between INS and *** complex urban driving environment requires the system sufficiently adaptive to keep up with the time-varying measurement noise and sufficiently robust to cope with measurement outliers and prior ***,many efforts lack a balance between adaptability and *** this paper,a novel positioning method with both adaptability and robustness is proposed by coupling the Mahalanobis distance method,the Variational Bayesian method and the student’s t-distribution in one process(M-VBt method).This method is robust against non-Gaussian noise and priori uncertainties,plus adaptive against measurement noise uncertainty and time-varying *** field test results show that the M-VBt method(especially the Mahalanobis distance part)has significantly improved the system performance in the complex urban driving environment.
