HNRNPC as a pan-cancer biomarker and therapeutic target involved in tumor progression and immune regulation

Background:Aberrant expression of RNA-binding proteins(RBPs)has been linked to a variety of diseases,including hematological disorders,cardiovascular diseases,and multiple types of *** nuclear ribonucleoprotein C(HNRNPC),a member belonging to the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein(hnRNP)family,plays a pivotal role in nucleic acid *** studies have underscored the significance of HNRNPC in tumorigenesis;however,its specific role in malignant tumor progression remains inadequately ***:We leveraged publicly available databases,including The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA),to explore the potential involvement of HNRNPC across various ***,we performed experimental validation studies focused on liver ***:Our analysis revealed that HNRNPC is overexpressed in a wide range of common malignancies,including liver and lung cancers,and is strongly linked to unfavorable ***,HNRNPC was observed to be closely linked to tumor *** immune checkpoint analysis and immune cell infiltration assessment,HNRNPC emerged as a potential target for modulating tumor ***,silencing of HNRNPC markedly inhibited the proliferation,metastasis,and infiltration of liver cancer ***:In summary,our findings highlight HNRNPC as a prognostic marker in various cancers,including liver cancer,and suggest its involvement in shaping the tumor immune *** insights offer potential avenues for improving clinical outcomes in tumors with elevated HNRNPC expression,particularly through immunotherapeutic strategies.

A Generative Model-Based Network Framework for Ecological Data Reconstruction

This study examines the effectiveness of artificial intelligence techniques in generating high-quality environmental data for species introductory site selection *** Strengths,Weaknesses,Opportunities,Threats(SWOT)analysis data with Variation Autoencoder(VAE)and Generative AdversarialNetwork(GAN)the network framework model(SAE-GAN),is proposed for environmental data *** model combines two popular generative models,GAN and VAE,to generate features conditional on categorical data embedding after SWOT *** model is capable of generating features that resemble real feature distributions and adding sample factors to more accurately track individual sample *** data is used to retain more semantic information to generate *** model was applied to species in Southern California,USA,citing SWOT analysis data to train the *** show that the model is capable of integrating data from more comprehensive analyses than traditional methods and generating high-quality reconstructed data from them,effectively solving the problem of insufficient data collection in development *** model is further validated by the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution(TOPSIS)classification assessment commonly used in the environmental data *** study provides a reliable and rich source of training data for species introduction site selection systems and makes a significant contribution to ecological and sustainable development.

Interpretable Machine Learning-Based Spring Algal Bloom Forecast Model for the Coastal Waters of Zhejiang

The 2016–2022 monitoring data from three ecological buoys in the Wenzhou coastal region of Zhejiang Province and the dataset European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts were examined to clarify the elaborate relationship between variations in ecological parameters during spring algal bloom incidents and the associated changes in temperature and wind fields in this study.A long short-term memory recurrent neural network was employed,and a predictive model for spring algal bloom in this region was *** model integrated various inputs,including temperature,wind speed,and other pertinent variables,and chlorophyll concentration served as the primary output *** model training used chlorophyll concentration data,which were supplemented by reanalysis and forecast temperature and wind field *** model demonstrated proficiency in forecasting next-day chlorophyll concentrations and assessing the likelihood of spring algal bloom occurrences using a defined chlorophyll concentration *** historical validation from 2016 to 2019 corroborated the model's accuracy with an 81.71%probability of correct prediction,which was further proven by its precise prediction of two spring algal bloom incidents in late April 2023 and early May *** interpretable machine learning-based model for spring algal bloom prediction,displaying effective forecasting with limited data,was established through the detailed analysis of the spring algal bloom mechanism and the careful selection of input *** insights gained from this study offer valuable contributions to the development of early warning systems for spring algal bloom in the Wenzhou coastal area of Zhejiang Province.

Root canal therapy combined with endoscopic sinus surgery for odontogenic sinusitis:Efficacy comparison in a cohort study

BACKGROUND Odontogenic maxillary sinusitis,often triggered by dental issues like periapical periodontitis,significantly contributes to chronic sinusitis,mainly affecting adults around 50 years old,emphasizing the need for a multidisciplinary diagnostic and treatment *** To investigate the therapeutic effect and clinical value of root canal therapy combined with nasal endoscopic surgery compared with simple root canal the-rapy in the treatment of severe odontogenic maxillary sinusitis caused by peria-pical *** The clinical data,diagnosis,and treatment of 200 patients with severe odonto-genic maxillary sinusitis caused by periapical periodontitis from October 2020 to October 2021 were analyzed *** them,63 patients were treated with simple root canal therapy as the control group,and 137 patients were treated with root canal therapy combined with nasal endoscopic surgery as the observation *** therapeutic effect,Lund-Kennedy endoscopic score,paranasal sinus Lund-Mackay score,complication rate,recurrence rate,and patient satisfaction were compared between the two *** First,we compared the effective rates:23 cases were cured,22 were improved,and 8 were ineffective in the control group,yielding a total effective rate of 84.90%.Meanwhile,97 cases were cured,34 improved,and 6 were ineffective in the observation group,resulting in a total effective rate of 95.62%.The observation group had a higher total effective rate compared with the control group(P0.05)was observed in this score between the two *** treatment,the Lund–Kennedy endoscopic score decreased in both *** Lund–Kennedy endoscopic score of the observation group at 3 and 6 mo after treatment was lower compared to that of the control group(P<0.05).Third,we compared the Lund–Mackay score of paranasal *** treatment,there was no si

建设老年友好社区是中国面对人口老龄化挑战做出的重大决策。然而,当前仍未出现针对老年友好社区建成效果的系统性评价研究。该文利用北京市全国示范性老年友好社区居民调查数据,考察老年友好社区建设对老年人生活满意度的影响。研究结果表明:老年友好社区建设提升了老年人的生活满意度与心理健康水平,且心理健康水平在老年友好社区建设与老年人生活满意度间起中介作用;老年友好社区的7项评价标准均在不同程度上提升了老年人的生活满意度,而仅社区氛围、社区服务、智慧养老、社会参与4项评价标准提升了老年人的心理健康水平;相比之下,老年友好社区建设对低龄、自理能力较强、文化水平较高、收入较低的老年人的生活满意度与心理健康水平的提升作用更强。

Study of charmonium(-like)mesons under a diabatic approach

In this work,we study the charmonium(-like)spectrum below 4.1 GeV using the diabatic approach,which offers a unified description of conventional and unconventional heavy meson *** to previous studies,we consider a more realistic cc potential by including the spin-dependent interactions,which allows us to obtain more states and insights into the charmonium *** on our calculation,we obtain the masses of the charmonium spectrum,which align well with experimental *** also present the probabilities of finding various components,i.e.,cc or meson-meson pairs,in these *** results support the arguments that X_(c1)(3872),Ψ(4040),and X_(c2)(3930)have significant molecular *** addition,our calculations show that X_(c0)(3860)and Ψ(3770)can be considered as candidates for the charmonium states X_(c0)(2P)and Ψ(1D),respectively.

上行效应和浮游动物的下行效应对异龙湖浮游植物群落的影响

于2020年夏季至2021年春季对异龙湖的浮游植物和环境因子进行季节性采样调查,分析浮游植物群落结构和生物量的季节变化模式,并进一步通过多变量统计分析识别上行效应和下行效应(浮游动物)对浮游植物群落变化的驱动作用.调查结果显示异龙湖浮游植物总生物量在7.12~66.07mg/L之间,9月最高,12月最低.蓝藻门是浮游植物生物量构成的主要门类(42.91%~95.67%),拟柱孢藻(Raphidiopsis raciborskii)全年占优(23.43%~84.30%),反映了其在异龙湖中具有较强的竞争优势.ANOSIM和Kruskal-Wallis分析表明异龙湖浮游植物群落结构和总生物量均在时间上差异显著(P0.05).RDA结果显示总磷、总氮、硅酸盐、水温和水深是影响异龙湖浮游植物群落结构的显著因子.方差分解进一步显示浮游植物的上行效应(水温、营养盐和水深)单独解释了浮游植物变化的20.30%,而下行效应(浮游动物群落)仅单独解释了0.20%,上行效应和下行效应共同解释了群落变化的5.80%.因此在以丝状蓝藻为全年优势种的异龙湖中,上行效应对浮游植物的影响大于浮游动物的下行效应,这可能与异龙湖浮游动物个体小(ZB/ZA:0.0019±0.0018)且生物量(0.56±0.39mg/L)相对较低,对浮游植物的牧食作用弱(ZB/PB:0.0303±0.0271)有关.研究结果可为异龙湖的生态评价和流域综合管理提供数据支撑.
