Wave tank tests were carried out to evaluate the total efficiency of a floating OWC Pentagonal Backward Bent Duct Buoy (PBBDB). Two kinds of turbine generators were used in tests. The incident wave power, pneumatic power and electricity were measured. The test results show that the primary efficiency can reach up to 185.98% in regular waves and 85.86% in irregular waves. The total efficiency from wave to wire with Wells turbine-generator set is 33.43% in regular waves and 15.82% in irregular waves. The peak total efficiency of the PBBDB with check valves equipped with the impulse turbine-generator set is 41.68% in regular waves and 27.10% in irregular waves. The efficiency of the turbine-generator set is about 30% in the tests. Obviously, the total efficiency can be further improved with the increasing of turbine efficiency.

The energy characteristics in the evolution of the wave train are investigated to understand the inherent cause of the freak wave generation. The Morlet wavelet spectrum method is employed to analyze the numerical, laboratory and field evolution data of this generation process. Their energy distributions and variations are discussed with consideration of corresponding surface elevations. Through comparing the energy characteristics of three cases, it is shown that the freak wave generation depends not only on the continuous transfer of wave train energy to a certain region where finally the maximum energy occurs, but also on the distinct shift of the converged energy to high-frequency components in a very short time. And the typical energy characteristics of freak waves are also given.

In this paper,we consider the clustering of bivariate functional data where each random surface consists of a set of curves recorded repeatedly for each *** k-centres surface clustering method based on marginal functional principal component analysis is proposed for the bivariate functional data,and a novel clustering criterion is presented where both the random surface and its partial derivative function in two directions are *** addition,we also consider two other clustering methods,k-centres surface clustering methods based on product functional principal component analysis or double functional principal component *** results indicate that the proposed methods have a nice performance in terms of both the correct classification rate and the adjusted rand *** approaches are further illustrated through empirical analysis of human mortality data.

Hepatic fibrosis is a common feature of almost all chronic liver diseases. Formation of new vessels （angiogenesis） is a process strictly related to the progressive fibrogenesis which leads to cirrhosis and liver cancer. This review mainly concerns the relationship between angiogenesis and hepatic fibrosis, by considering the mechanism of angiogenesis, cells in angiogenesis, anti-angiogenic and Chinese medicine therapies.

Silicone rubber(SR) composites are most widely used as thermal interface materials(TIMs) for electronics heat dissipation. Thermal impedance as the main bottleneck limiting the performance of TIMs is usually neglected. Herein, the thermal impedance of SR composites loaded with different levels of hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN) as TIMs was elaborated for the first time by the ASTM D 5470 standard test and finite element analysis. It was found that elastic modulus and surface roughness of SR composites increased with the increase of h-BN content, indicating that the conformity was reduced. When the assembly pressure was 0.69 MPa, there existed an optimal h-BN content at which the contact resistance was minimum(0.39 K·cm^(2)·W^(-1)). Although the decreased bond line thickness(BLT) by increasing the assembly pressure was beneficial to reduce the thermal impedance, the proper assembly pressure should be selected to prevent the warpage of the contact surfaces and the increase in contact resistance, according to the compression properties of the SR composites. This study provides valuable insights into fabrication of high-performance TIMs for modern electronic device applications.

以ZrCl_(4)、H_(3)PW_(12)O_(40)(HPW)为原料,对苯二甲酸为配体,通过一锅水热法及热解法合成了金属有机框架UiO-66衍生的HPW@C-ZrO_(2)复合材料,利用FTIR、XRD、N2物理吸附、SEM及UV-Vis DRS对合成的复合材料的物理、化学性能进行表征,并以罗丹明B为目标污染物测试其光催化活性。结果表明,HPW的引入有效改善了材料的光催化性能;经过120min的可见光照射,HPW@C-ZrO_(2)对罗丹明B的降解效率达到86.7%。循环实验表明,该复合光催化剂表现出良好的稳定性。

In order to improve the comprehensive mechanical properties,deep cryogenic treatment （DCT）prior to aging was carried out on friction-stir-welded（FSW） 2198 Al-Li alloy;afterward,the microstructure and tensile properties were characterized by means of optical microscopy （OM）,transmission electron microscopy（TEM） and tensile *** results show that FSW 2198 alloy through DCT prior to aging （DAT） possesses superior tensile properties than conventional aging treatment （AT）The microstructural analysis reveals that DAT alloy exhibits a finer grain structure,since DCT might effectively alleviate the residual stress in FSW 2198 alloy and thus decrease the driving force for grain coarsening in subsequent aging ***,DCT generates dislocation multiplication,which provides more preferential nucleation sites for T1 （Al2CuLi） phase during subsequent aging treatment,resulting in high-density fine T1 phases and thin precipitate-free zone within DAT *** reasonable microstructure leads to DAT alloy possessing better strength-ductility combination compared to AT alloy.

Cytokines including tumor necrosis factor, interleukins, interferons, and chemokines are abundantly produced in various diseases. As pleiotropic factors, cytokines are involved in nearly every aspect of cellular functions such as migration, survival, proliferation, and differentiation. Oligodendrocytes are the myelin-forming cells in the central nervous system and play critical roles in the conduction of action potentials, supply of metabolic components for axons, and other functions. Emerging evidence suggests that both oligodendrocytes and oligodendrocyte precursor cells are vulnerable to cytokines released under pathological conditions. This review mainly summarizes the effects of cytokines on oligodendrocyte lineage cells in central nervous system diseases. A comprehensive understanding of the effects of cytokines on oligodendrocyte lineage cells contributes to our understanding of central nervous system diseases and offers insights into treatment strategies.

Body-force modeling considering induced upstream effects for a transonic compressor with total temperature distortion

To numerically study the impact of total temperature distortion on a transonic compressor with reduced computational costs,a Body-Force Model(BFM)is ***,the interactions between the distorted flow and the compressor are analyzed using full-annulus Unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS)results and the orbit *** is found that the induced swirl distortion and the mass flux nonuniformity are intensified in the compressor upstream flow field.A correction factor is thus added to the BFM to account for the effect of the induced swirl,which is crucial for the accurate representation of distortion transfer in the ***,steady simulations with large-amplitude 180circumferential total temperature distortion are performed using the developed *** is shown that the distorted compressor map simulated with the BFM matches well with URANS *** circumferential phase shift of total temperature and the generation of the additional total pressure distortion across the rotor are in line with the time-averaged URANS flow *** compressor upstream effects on the distorted inflow can also be exactly *** above-mentioned results demonstrate the BFM developed in this paper can effectively capture the distorted flow features inside the compressor,and significantly reduce the computational costs by five orders of magnitude compared with URANS.
