This paper focuses on fixed-interval smoothing for stochastic hybrid *** the truth-mode mismatch is encountered,existing smoothing methods based on fixed structure of model-set have significant performance degradation and are *** develop a fixedinterval smoothing method based on forward-and backward-filtering in the Variable Structure Multiple Model(VSMM)framework in this *** propose to use the Simplified Equivalent model Interacting Multiple Model(SEIMM)in the forward and the backward filters to handle the difficulty of different mode-sets used in both filters,and design a re-filtering procedure in the model-switching stage to enhance the estimation *** improve the computational efficiency,we make the basic model-set adaptive by the Likely-Model Set(LMS)*** turns out that the smoothing performance is further improved by the LMS due to less competition among *** results are provided to demonstrate the better performance and the computational efficiency of our proposed smoothing algorithms.

At high altitudes, an Aviation Oxygen Supply System （AOSS） protects pilots from low pressure and hypoxia by continuously providing oxygen corresponding to the pilots＇ dynamic respiratory properties. An AOSS mainly consists of oxygen supercharging machines which are used in a high-altitude flight cabin to supply pressurized oxygen to pilots. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the airflow dynamic characteristics of an AOSS for safe, continuous, and efficient oxygen supply. In this paper, an AOSS is firstly simplified and considered as a mechanical ventilation system. Then, its corresponding mathematical model is constructed. Next, to verify the mathematical model, a prototype AOSS with a lung simulator is proposed for an experimental study. Afterwards, to build a foundation for the optimization of the AOSS, the airflow dynamic characteristics of an aircraft are analyzed, and the effects of key parameters on the respiration system are researched. Through experimental and simulation studies, it can be concluded that the mathematical model is effective. Subsequently, for stability during the respiration process, we consider setting the equivalent throttling areas of the inspiration and expiration pipelines smaller within certain limits; additionally, an excessively high oxygen supply pressure will disturb smooth airflow, and in a low-pressure environment, the pressure can be 84 cmH20 lower than the standard atmospheric pressure. This research can be referred to in the design of an oxygen supply system and the study on optimization of airflow dynamic characteristics.

Investigation of the Influence of Inclination Angle and Diffusion Angle on the Film Cooling Performance of Chevron Shaped Hole

The film cooling performance of chevron holes with different inclination angles and exit lateral diffusion angles has been studied experimentally and numerically. The inclination angles include 35° and 55°. The exit lateral diffusion angles include 20° and 25°. The film cooling effectiveness, heat transfer coefficient and discharge coefficient were measured on a flat plate model by transient liquid crystal measurement technique under four blowing ratios. The results show that the large inclination angle reduces the film cooling effectiveness. The influence of diffusion angle has two aspects: the large diffusion angle leads to mainstream ingestion and decreases film cooling effectiveness at M=1.0 and 1.5; however, the large diffusion angle increases the film cooling effectiveness at high blowing ratio of 2.0, because the larger hole exit area decreases the normal momentum component of the film jet. The large inclination angle decreases the heat transfer coefficient in the right downstream region at M=0.5 and 1.0. The large diffusion angle enhances the heat transfer in the right downstream of the holes in M=0.5～1.5 conditions. The chevron hole with large inclination angle generally has the highest discharge coefficient.

A deep understanding of the electricity generation mechanism from the interaction between water molecules and carbon material surfaces is attractive for next-generation water-based energy conversion and storage ***,an asymmetric generator was assembled based on functionalized carbon nanotubes films to investigate the relative contribution from various oxygen functional groups on carbon surface to the water-electrical *** and calculations demonstrate that the electricity mainly originates from the water molecule adsorption by carboxyl groups and dissociation of functional groups on carbon surface,which leads to the formation of electrical double layers at *** device allows the electricity generation with a variety of water sources,such as deionized water,tap water,as well as *** particular,the generator based on carboxyl carbon nanotubes can induce a voltage of over 200 mV spontaneously in natural seawater with the power density of about 0.11 mW·g^(−1).High voltages can be achieved easily through the series-connection strategy to power electronic products such as a liquid crystal *** work reveals the dominant role of carboxyl groups in carbon-based water–electricity conversion and is expected to offer inspiration for the preparation of carbon materials with high electrical performance.

Mechanical ventilation has been widely used in intensive care unit （ICU） to provide adequate air exchange to patients with respiratory difficulty. It helps patients with a ventilator that presses air into patients＇ lungs at triggering time. As a key therapy in ICU, mechanical ventilation is of great sig- nificance in clinical research of respiratory treatment. For example, simulation research of mechanical ventilation can be made through dynamics equations of pneumatic system [1-3].

This paper proposes a novel approach, Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) sampling approximation, to deal with intractable high-dimension integral in the evidence framework applied to Support Vector Regression (SVR). Unlike traditional variational or mean field method, the proposed approach follows the idea of MCMC, firstly draws some samples from the posterior distribution on SVR's weight vector, and then approximates the expected output integrals by finite sums. Experimental results show the proposed approach is feasible and robust to noise. It also shows the performance of proposed approach and Relevance Vector Machine (RVM) is comparable under the noise circumstances. They give better robustness compared to standard SVR.

讨论大气层外细长型柔性飞行器的姿态控制问题,该问题的本质是在测量器件附加柔性影响的情况下控制刚体姿态跟踪指令。提出动态面姿态控制方法,以实现姿态指令跟踪。建立柔性形变的2阶动态模型,结合刚体角速度与柔性形变的关系建立非线性模型并设计卡尔曼滤波器。针对轨控发动机质心偏移等因素产生的干扰力矩,引入角加速度计的测量,经过陷波滤波器处理后得到各轴向的估计力矩,将其作为卡尔曼滤波器的输入。仿真结果表明,对于柔性飞行器,采用所提出的状态估计及控制方法,可以保证姿态跟踪误差在0.5°以内。
