High-energy-density Li-S batteries are subjected to serious sulfur deactivation and short cycle lifetime caused by undesirable polysulfide shuttle effect and frantic lithium dendrite *** this work,a controllable cage-confinement strategy to fabricate molybdenum carbide(MoC)nanoclusters as a high-efficient sulfiphilic and lithiophilic regulator to mitigate the formidable issues of Li-S batteries is *** sub-2 nm MoC nanoclusters not only guarantee robust chemisorption and fast electrocatalytic conversion of polysulfides to enhance the sulfur electrochemistry,but also homogenize Li^(+) flux to suppress the lithium dendrite *** a consequence,the MoC-modified separator endows the batteries with boosted reaction kinetics,promoted sulfur utilization,and improved cycling stability.A reversible capacity of 701 mAh·g^(−1) at a high rate of 5.0C and a small decay rate of 0.076%per cycle at 1.0C over 600 cycles are *** study offers a rational route for design and synthesis of bifunctional nanoclusers with both sulfiphilicity and lithiophilicity for high-performance Li-S batteries.

Superhydrophilic surfaces have been applied for supercapacitor;however,during energy storage reaction,how the wettability affects the process of electrochemical reaction specifically is still ***,we demonstrate superhydrophilic surface for promotion of electrochemical reactions by liquid affinity and further explain the mechanism,where the transition of the wettability state caused by the change in surface free energy is the main reason for the obvious increase in specific *** citric acid assistance strategy,an intrinsically hydrophobic Ni(OH)_(2)thick nanosheets(HNHTNs,16 nm)can be transitioned into superhydrophilic Ni(OH)_(2)ultrathin nanosheets(SNHUNs,6.8 nm),where the water contact angle was 0°and the surface free energy increased from 8.6to 65.8 mN·m^(-1),implying *** with HNHTNs,the specific capacitance of SNHUNs is doubled:from 1230 F·g^(-1)(HNHTNs)to 2350 F·g^(-1)(2A·g^(-1))and,even at 20 A·g^(-1),from 833 F·g^(-1)(HNHTNs)to 1670 F·g^(-1).The asymmetric capacitors assembled by SNHUNs and activated carbon show 52.44 Wh·kg^(-1)at 160W·kg^(-1)and excellent stability with~90%retention after5000 cycles(~80%retention after 9500 cycles).The promotion of electrochemical performances is ascribed to the change of surface wettability caused by surface free energy,which greatly increase affinity of electrode to the surrounding liquid environment to reduce the interface resistance and optimize the electron transport path.

Collaborative coverage path planning(CCPP) refers to obtaining the shortest paths passing over all places except obstacles in a certain area or space. A multi-unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) collaborative CCPP algorithm is proposed for the urban rescue search or military search in outdoor *** to flexible control of small UAVs, it can be considered that all UAVs fly at the same altitude, that is, they perform search tasks on a two-dimensional plane. Based on the agents’ motion characteristics and environmental information, a mathematical model of CCPP problem is established. The minimum time for UAVs to complete the CCPP is the objective function, and complete coverage constraint, no-fly constraint, collision avoidance constraint, and communication constraint are considered. Four motion strategies and two communication strategies are designed. Then a distributed CCPP algorithm is designed based on hybrid strategies. Simulation results compared with patternbased genetic algorithm(PBGA) and random search method show that the proposed method has stronger real-time performance and better scalability and can complete the complete CCPP task more efficiently and stably.

Magnetic skyrmions emerge when the energy of ferromagnetic exchange interaction promoting parallel alignment of spins enters in competition with energies favoring non-collinear alignment of spins such as Dzy aloshinskii-Moriya interaction(DMI),long-rang dipole-dipole interaction(DDI),or higher-order exchange *** perform an unbiased Monte Carlo simulation to study the DMI-based skyrmion nucleation and stabilization on the surface of magnetic nanotubular monolayer controlled by tuning constants of DDI(g) and next-nearest-neighbor antiferromagnetic exchange interaction(j') with appropriate *** g and j',the loosely distributed skyrmions initially nucleate on the surface of nanotube approaching to the magnetic field(h) direction with increasing h in the intermediate ***,the skyrmion size,shape,density,distribution and crystal structure,as well as its driven field range,are tailored by g and j'.This work demonstrates the skyrmion nucleation mechanisms in three-dimensional magnetic nanostructures with curvature effect and multiple interactions,serving as a benchmark for a guide to experimentalists for preparation of samples in magnetic skyrmion states.

The ignition tendency of diesel fuels is highly sensitive to ambient conditions and fuel *** this study,the ignition characteristics of different diesel surrogate fuels with the same derived cetane numbers(DCN)were measured and compared in varied thermodynamic and oxidizing *** combustion pressures,heat release rates,ignition delays,and combustion delays of the test fuels were *** experimental results showed that the diesel surrogate fuels with the same DCNs exhibit similar ignition propensity at standard DCN test ***,for the test conditions of high cetane fuels,high ambient temperatures,and suficient oxygen concentrations,surrogate fuels with the same DCN have similar ignition behaviors,and using the DCN to evaluate fuel ignition tendency is ***,for the test conditions of low cetane fuels,low ambient temperatures,and reduced oxygen concentrations,different ignition behaviors are observed for the surrogate fuels with the same DCN,so at these conditions using DCN as the evaluation index for fuel ignition tendency may lead to higher uncertainty.

Synergistic Impacts of Indian Ocean SST and Indo-China Peninsula Soil Moisture on the 2020 Record-breaking Mei-yu

The Yangtze River basin(YRB)experienced a record-breaking mei-yu season in June‒July *** unique long-lasting extreme event and its origin have attracted considerable *** studies have suggested that the Indian Ocean(IO)SST forcing and soil moisture anomaly over the Indochina Peninsula(ICP)were responsible for this unexpected ***,the relative contributions of IO SST and ICP soil moisture to the 2020 mei-yu rainfall event,especially their linkage with atmospheric circulation changes,remain *** using observations and numerical simulations,this study examines the synergistic impacts of IO SST and ICP soil moisture on the extreme mei-yu in *** show that the prolonged dry soil moisture led to a warmer surface over the ICP in May under strong IO SST *** intensification of the warm condition further magnified the land thermal effects,which in turn facilitated the westward extension of the western North Pacific subtropical high(WNPSH)in June‒*** intensified WNPSH amplified the water vapor convergence and ascending motion over the YRB,thereby contributing to the 2020 *** contrast,the land thermal anomalies diminish during normal IO SST backgrounds due to the limited persistence of soil *** roles of IO SST and ICP soil moisture are verified and quantified using the Community Earth System *** synergistic impacts yield a notable 32%increase in YRB *** findings provide evidence for the combined influences of IO SST forcing and ICP soil moisture variability on the occurrence of the 2020 super mei-yu.

Autonomous indoor humidity control is gaining more and more attention but is limited by the trade-offs among pore volume,pore size and water stability of water *** solve this problem by using a unique coordination network topology combined with hydrolytically stable M(Ⅲ)carboxylate *** extending the ligand length from 9.0 to 11.2 and 13.7?,the pore volume significantly increases from 0.99 to 1.40 and 1.78 cm^(3)g^(-1),which proportionally increases the saturated water adsorption ***,the pore size slightly increases from 10.4 to 11.0 and 13.5A,which restricts the isotherm inflection pressure and hysteresis width to meet the requirement of indoor humidity *** single-crystals suitable for Xray diffraction studies were obtained by using Fe(Ⅲ)salts,while isostructural frameworks with sufficiently high water stabilities were synthesized by using Cr(Ⅲ)salts,which offer record working capacity of 0.90 and 1.10 g g^(-1)for indoor humidity control.

In the metal-based peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation process,the sluggish surface redox cycle of metal ions generally hampered the efficiency of PMS activation for pollutant ***,Codoped CuWO 4/BN quantum dots(CW/Co/BNQDs)photocatalysts were developed to realize Cu^(2+)/Cu+and Co^(2+)/Co^(3+)dual ions redox cycles for PMS activation,which would facilitate the tetracycline(TC)***/4Co/2BNQDs could degrade 94.8%TC within 30 min in PMS/Vis system,and the apparent rate constant of CW/4Co/2BNQDs was 2.7 times and 1.2 times higher than those of CW and CW/4Co,*** improved TC degradation performance could be attributed to the synergetic effect between BNQDs and dual redox cycles.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)spectra of samples before and after the reaction demonstrated that BNQDs were beneficial for accelerating the Cu^(2+)/Cu+and Co^(2+)/Co^(3+)redox cycles in CW/4Co/2BNQDs,further boosting the activation of PMS in TC *** of different radical scavengers revealed that the SO_(4)^(·−)/·OH/h+/^(1)O_(2)reactive species participated in the PMS activation for the TC degradation *** possible TC degradation pathway and intermediate toxicity were detailed *** addition,CW/4Co/2BNQDs exhibited outstanding photocatalytic activity over five consecutive cycles,which illustrated that it was supposed to be a reliable PMS activator over antibiotic elimination for practical *** this work shed new light on constructing dual redox cycles for efficient PMS activation.

OBJECTIVES To establish a scoring system combining the ACEF score and the quantitative blood flow ratio(QFR) to improve the long-term risk prediction of patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).METHODS In this population-based cohort study, a total of 46 features, including patient clinical and coronary lesion characteristics, were assessed for analysis through machine learning models. The ACEF-QFR scoring system was developed using 1263consecutive cases of CAD patients after PCI in PANDA Ⅲ trial database. The newly developed score was then validated on the other remaining 542 patients in the *** In both the Random Forest Model and the Deep Surv Model, age, renal function(creatinine), cardiac function(LVEF)and post-PCI coronary physiological index(QFR) were identified and confirmed to be significant predictive factors for 2-year adverse cardiac events. The ACEF-QFR score was constructed based on the developmental dataset and computed as age(years)/EF(%) + 1(if creatinine ≥ 2.0 mg/d L) + 1(if post-PCI QFR ≤ 0.92). The performance of the ACEF-QFR scoring system was preliminarily evaluated in the developmental dataset, and then further explored in the validation dataset. The ACEF-QFR score showed superior discrimination(C-statistic = 0.651;95% CI: 0.611-0.691, P < 0.05 versus post-PCI physiological index and other commonly used risk scores) and excellent calibration(Hosmer–Lemeshow χ^(2)= 7.070;P = 0.529) for predicting 2-year patient-oriented composite endpoint(POCE). Hot torsion tests for AZ80 magnesium alloy were carried out in the temperature range of 380℃-260℃,with a constant decreasing temperature rate of 10℃/s in order to weaken the basal texture and refine the *** results indicated that the average grain sizes were refined forming gradient structure with increasing specimen radial position from center(12.2-5.4μm),and that the initial basal texture intensity of the extruded magnesium alloy was weakened from 46.2 to ***,the extension twins(ETs)could be disintegrated from the twins forming separated twins with smaller ***,ETs with the same twin variant intersecting with each other could be coalesced forming grains with similar orientation,while ETs with different twin variants were separated by twins boundaries contributing to grain ***,in addition to the conventional continuous dynamic recrystallized(CDRX)grains with 30˚orientation rotated around C-axis of the parent grains,CDRXed grains with 30˚rotation around a-axis and random rotation axis were also ***,the CDRX evolution induced twins were also elaborated,exhibiting the complex competition between CDRX and *** torsion deformation with constant decreasing temperatures rate is an effective way of grain refinement and texture modification.
