Extracting valuable information frombiomedical texts is one of the current research hotspots of concern to a wide range of *** biomedical corpus contains numerous complex long sentences and overlapping relational triples,making most generalized domain joint modeling methods difficult to apply effectively in this *** a complex semantic environment in biomedical texts,in this paper,we propose a novel perspective to perform joint entity and relation extraction;existing studies divide the relation triples into several steps or ***,the three elements in the relation triples are interdependent and inseparable,so we regard joint extraction as a tripartite classification *** the same time,fromthe perspective of triple classification,we design amulti-granularity 2D convolution to refine the word pair table and better utilize the dependencies between biomedical word ***,we use a biaffine predictor to assist in predicting the labels of word pairs for relation *** model(MCTPL)Multi-granularity Convolutional Tokens Pairs of Labeling better utilizes the elements of triples and improves the ability to extract overlapping triples compared to previous ***,we evaluated our model on two publicly accessible *** experimental results show that our model’s ability to extract relation triples on the CPI dataset improves the F1 score by 2.34%compared to the current optimal *** the DDI dataset,the F1 value improves the F1 value by 1.68%compared to the current optimal *** model achieved state-of-the-art performance compared to other baseline models in biomedical text entity relation extraction.

The prediction of fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)images from fundus structural images is a cutting-edge research topic in ophthalmological image *** comprises estimating FFA from fundus camera imaging,single-phase FFA from scanning laser ophthalmoscopy(SLO),and three-phase FFA also from *** many deep learning models are available,a single model can only perform one or two of these prediction *** accomplish three prediction tasks using a unified method,we propose a unified deep learning model for predicting FFA images from fundus structure images using a supervised generative adversarial *** three prediction tasks are processed as follows:data preparation,network training under FFA supervision,and FFA image prediction from fundus structure images on a test *** comparing the FFA images predicted by our model,pix2pix,and CycleGAN,we demonstrate the remarkable progress achieved by our *** high performance of our model is validated in terms of the peak signal-to-noise ratio,structural similarity index,and mean squared error.

Abnormal tumor microenvironment imposes barriers to tumor penetration of nanomedicine,which remains a major challenge for effective ***,we present disulfide-based nanoparticles that actively penetrate deep tumors in vivo through a thiol-mediated transportation *** achieve active tumor accumulation in vivo,disulfide-based nanoparticles are modified with folic acid units(FA-DBNPs).It is gratifying that FA-DBNPs still enter cells via the thiol-mediated pathway,which facilitates transcellular transportation and tumor penetration both in vitro and in ***,FA-DBNPs exhibit GSH concentration-dependent depolymerization characterization,indicating that the GSH level in tumor tissues regulates the penetration depth of *** from these advantages,FA-DBNPs showed potent anti-tumor activity in mouse models,leading to the significant regression of *** current study lays a foundation that thiol-mediated transportation is a promising approach in nanomedicine design for solid tumor therapy.

Biopolymers,the potential flexoelectric materials,are environment-friendly,degradable,lightweight,cost-effective,and possess remarkable processing properties catering to the requirements of advanced ***,the flexoelectric coefficient of biopolymers is normally much weaker than that of ceramic materials,limiting their potential applications for designing high-performance green electromechanical coupling *** improve the flexoelectric response in biopolymers,we composited barium titanate(BTO)with 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl-oxidized cellulose nanofibrils(TOCNF)to enhance the flexoelectric response of *** to the high permittivity and flexoelectric effect of BTO,the relative dielectric constant and flexoelectric coefficient of 33.3 wt%BTO-TOCNF films reached 30.94@1 kHz and 50.05±1.88 nC/m@1 Hz,which were almost 172 times and 27 times higher than those of TOCNF,*** composite thin film contains high dielectric constant and flexoelectric coefficient,as well as excellent *** study provided a straightforward and efficient method for improving the flexoelectric effect of biopolymers,and demonstrated its great potential applications in flexoelectric-based devices.

The effect of undercooling DT and the interface energy anisotropy parameter e4 on the shape of the equiaxed dendritic tip has been investigated by using a quantitative phase-field model for solidification of binary *** was found that the tip radius r increases and the tip shape amplitude coefficient A4 decreases with the increase of the fitting range for all *** dendrite tip shape selection parameter sdecreases and then stabilizes with the increase of the fitting range,and sincreases with the increase of *** relationship between sand e4 follows a power-law function sµea 4,and a is independent of DT but dependent on the fitting *** results demonstrate that the predicted sis consistent with the curve of microscopic solvability theory(MST)for e4<0.02,and sobtained from our phase-field simulations is sensitive to the undercooling when e4 is fixed.

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD^(+))/reduced NAD^(+)(NADH)and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADP^(+))/reduced NADP^(+)(NADPH)are essential metabolites involved in multiple metabolic pathways and cellular ***^(+)and NADH redox couple plays a vital role in catabolic redox reactions,while NADPH is crucial for cellular anabolism and antioxidant *** NAD(H)and NADP(H)homeostasis is crucial for normal physiological activity and is tightly regulated through various mechanisms,such as biosynthesis,consumption,recycling,and conversion between NAD(H)and NADP(H).The conversions between NAD(H)and NADP(H)are controlled by NAD kinases(NADKs)and NADP(H)phosphatases[specifically,metazoan SpoT homolog-1(MESH1)and nocturnin(NOCT)].NADKs facilitate the synthesis of NADP^(+)from NAD^(+),while MESH1 and NOCT convert NADP(H)into NAD(H).In this review,we summarize the physiological roles of NAD(H)and NADP(H)and discuss the regulatory mechanisms governing NAD(H)and NADP(H)homeostasis in three key aspects:the transcriptional and posttranslational regulation of NADKs,the role of MESH1 and NOCT in maintaining NAD(H)and NADP(H)homeostasis,and the influence of the circadian clock on NAD(H)and NADP(H)*** conclusion,NADKs,MESH1,and NOCT are integral to various cellular processes,regulating NAD(H)and NADP(H)*** of these enzymes results in various human diseases,such as cancers and metabolic ***,strategies aiming to restore NAD(H)and NADP(H)homeostasis hold promise as novel therapeutic approaches for these diseases.

The increasing demand for diverse portable high-precision spectral analysis applications has driven the rapid development of spectrometer miniaturization. However, the resolutions of existing miniaturized spectrometers mostly remain at the nanometer level, posing a challenge for further enhancement towards achieving picometerlevel precision. Here, we propose an integrated reconstructive spectrometer that utilizes Mach–Zehnder interferometers and a tunable diffraction network. Through random tuning in the time domain and disordered diffraction in the space domain, the random speckle patterns closely related to wavelength information are obtained to construct the transmission matrix. Experimentally, we achieve a high resolution of 100 pm and precisely reconstruct multiple narrowband and broadband spectra. Moreover, the proposed spectrometer features a simple structure, strong portability, and fast sampling speed, which has great potential in the practical application of high-precision portable spectral analysis.
