Highly efficient electrosynthesis of H_(2)O_(2)in acidic electrolyte on metal-free heteroatoms co-doped carbon nanosheets and simultaneously promoting Fenton process

Recently electrochemical synthesis of H_(2)O_(2)through oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)via 2e^(-)pathway is considered as a green and on-site ***,it still remains a big challenge for fabricating novel metal-free catalysts under acidic solutions,since it suffers from high overpotential due to the intrinsically week*OOH ***,a co-doped carbon nanosheet(O/N–C)catalyst toward regulating O and N content was synthesized for improving the selectivity and activity of H_(2)O_(2)electrosynthesis *** O/N–C exhibits outstanding 2e-ORR performance with low onset potential of 0.4 V(***)and a selectivity of 92.4%in 0.1 mol/L HClO_(4)*** in situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)tests reveals that the N incorporation contributes to the fast ORR *** density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrate that the binding strength of*OOH was optimized by the co-doping of oxygen and nitrogen at certain content,and the O/N–C–COOH site exhibits a lower theoretical overpotential for H_(2)O_(2)formation than O–C–COOH ***,the promoted kinetics for typical organic dye degradation in simultaneous electron-Fenton process on O/N–C catalyst was demonstrated particularly for broadening its environmental application.

Ammonia(NH3)emissions,the most important nitrogen(N)loss form,always induce a series of environmental problems such as increased frequency of regional haze pollution,accelerated N deposition,and N *** mycorrhizal(AM)fungi play key roles in N ***,it is still unclear whether AM fungi can alleviate N losses by reducing *** potential mechanisms by which AM fungi reduce NH_(3)emissions in five land-use types(grazed grassland,mowed grassland,fenced grassland,artificial alfalfa grassland,and cropland)were explored in this *** showed that AM fungal inoculation significantly reduced NH3emissions,and the mycorrhizal responses of NH3emissions were determined by land-use *** equation modeling(SEM)showed that AM fungi and land-use type directly affected NH_(3)*** addition,the reduction in NH_(3)emissions was largely driven by the decline in soil NH_(4)^(+)-N and pH and the increases in abundances of ammonia-oxidizing archaea(AOA)amoA and bacteria(AOB)amoB genes,urease activity,and plant N uptake induced by AM fungal inoculation and land-use *** present results highlight that reducing the negative influence of agricultural intensification caused by land-use type changes on AM fungi should be considered to reduce N losses in agriculture and grassland ecosystems.

In the last few decades,deep learning(DL)has afforded solutions to macroscopic problems in petroleum engineering,but mechanistic problems at the microscale have not benefited from *** studies have been the strong demands for the emerging projects,such as the gas storage and hydrate production,and for some problems encountered in the storage process,which are common found as the chemical interaction between injected gas and mineral,and the formation of *** advances in DL technology enable solving molecular dynamics(MD)with quantum *** conventional quantum chemical method is computational expensive,whereas the classical MD method cannot guarantee high accuracy because of its empirical force field *** the help of the DL force field,precision at the quantum chemistry level can be achieved in ***,the DL force field promotes the computational speed compared with first-principles *** this review,the basic knowledge of the molecular force field and deep neural network(DNN)is first ***,three representative opensource packages relevant to the DL force field are *** the most common components in the development of oil and gas reservoirs,water and methane are studied from the aspects of computational efficiency and chemical reaction respectively,providing the foundation of oil and gas ***,in the oil and gas problems,the complex molecular topo structures and various element types set a high challenge for the DL techniques in *** the computational efficiency,it needs improvement via GPU and parallel accelerations to compete with classical *** with such difficulties,the booming of this technique in the area of petroleum engineering can be predictable.

Rational design of robust and transparent superrepellent surfaces for long-term marine antifouling

Superhydrophobic surfaces have demonstrated exceptional efficacy in combatting biofouling contaminations of optical devices and equipment in marine applications. However, the fabrication of highly transparent superhydrophobic materials remains a formidable challenge due to the inherent trade-off between surface roughness for superhydrophobicity and optical ***, we design a robust and transparent superhydrophobic coating(Si-POSS) embedded silica nanoparticles(200 nm) with fluorinated polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes(F-POSS) and zinc pyrithione(ZPT). The Si-POSS coating exhibits excellent water repellence toward diverse liquids and optical transmittance exceeding 90% in the visible spectrum. Moreover, the Si-POSS coating sustains long-term anti-bacterial(> 99.11%) and anti-algal effects for over 30 days, accompanied by mechanical,chemical, and thermal stability. This research asserts that the Si-POSS coating with outstanding combined characteristics holds significant potential for marine applications, particularly in self-cleaning and antifouling endeavors.

在共母线式光储逆变器中,交直流单元通过直流母线电容连接。传统的逆变器建模方法将母线电容视为无穷大,认为交直流侧运行相互解耦。然而,当直流母线电容较小时,光储逆变器的交直流侧将产生交互影响,引起电流谐振。该文以单个单元稳定运行为前提,推导出直流共母线系统稳定性的合阻抗比(CIR)判据。该判据的数学形式便于利用Bode图对并联系统的谐振源进行分析与定位。首先,对光储逆变器交直流各单元进行阻抗建模,利用合阻抗比判据分析直流侧储能单元相对于光伏单元更易与网侧发生谐振。然后,通过在电流环路加入陷波器改善储能单元的阻抗特性。最后,仿真及实验结果证实了所提合阻抗比稳定性判据的正确性。

Higher palaeoelevation in the Baoshan Basin:Implications for landscape evolution at the southeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau

Surface uplift at the southeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau has been widely studied, but more palaeoaltimetry data are required to better understand the elevation history of this geologically complex region. In this study, fossil leaves of Abies(Pinaceae), a cool-temperate element, recovered from the latest Miocene-Pliocene Yangyi Formation of the southern Baoshan Basin, were used as a proxy to estimate the local palaeoelevation. Based on the regional modern altitude range(2100-4280 m) of the genus as well as regional temperature discrepancy(1.5°C) between the past and present, the palaeoelevation of the study area was calculated to be > 2360 m above sea level as compared to 1670 m at present. Our result suggests that the southern Baoshan Basin experienced pronounced uplift prior to the time of fossil deposition, probably as a result of crustal shortening and thickening of the northern Baoshan Terrane during the Eocene-Oligocene. We infer that surface growth in areas south of the Dali Basin may have been greater than previously interpreted,and that a widespread plateau or plateau patches higher than 2000 m probably extended southwards into at least the Baoshan Basin by the latest Miocene-Pliocene. We also infer that the elevation of the southern Baoshan Basin has decreased by at least 690 m since then, in contrast to most other scenarios in which the elevation of the southeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau has increased or remained close to modern levels since the late Miocene. The major cause of the inferred altitude decline is likely tectonic deformation. As a transtensional graben basin, the Baoshan Basin has experienced pull-apart and base-fall movement since the late Miocene, which would reduce the altitude of its southern part located on the hanging wall. Surface erosion associated with the increased summer rainfall might also have played a role especially in reducing the local relief, although its contribution can be limited. 在室内使用视觉显示终端(visual display terminal,VDT)观看视频的场景中,VDT屏外背景光可以降低屏幕内外明暗对比产生的不适,同时光的颜色与亮度属性会影响人的视觉感受。本研究探索室内光环境对VDT观看动态视频的视觉感受影响,以营造能够提升视觉感受的VDT观影光环境。基于心理物理学方法进行人因工程实验,室内光环境以光的颜色/色温和亮度属性作为自变量:实验一设置3种彩光颜色与3种白光色温条件,实验二设置8种亮度条件。视频材料根据自定义动态程度分为高动态度影片和低动态度影片,测量受试者在不同光环境条件下使用VDT观看视频的视觉感受。研究发现,彩光更被偏好,相比白光具有更低疲劳度、更高舒适度及其他视觉感受,其中绿光照明条件下最舒适;背景亮度在9 cd/m~2~30 cd/m~2内最为偏好,视觉感受最佳亮度范围为16 cd/m~2~54 cd/m~2,包括较低的疲劳度、较高的舒适度、氛围、显示屏颜色显示质量,超过330 cd/m~2时视觉感受最差。实验结论为室内光环境对人视觉感受的影响研究提供了参考,为提升VDT观看动态视频视觉感受用途的照明设计提供了现实的指导建议。

Exceptional points and quantum dynamics in a non-Hermitian two-qubit system

We study the exceptional-point(EP) structure and the associated quantum dynamics in a system consisting of a non-Hermitian qubit and a Hermitian qubit. We find that the system possesses two sets of EPs, which divide the systemparameter space into PT-symmetry unbroken, partially broken and fully broken regimes, each with distinct quantumdynamics characteristics. Particularly, in the partially broken regime, while the PT-symmetry is generally broken in the whole four-dimensional Hilbert space, it is preserved in a two-dimensional subspace such that the quantum dynamics in the subspace are similar to those in the PT-symmetry unbroken regime. In addition, we reveal that the competition between the inter-qubit coupling and the intra-qubit driving gives rise to a complex pattern in the EP variation with system parameters.
