BACKGROUND Return to work(RTW)serves as an indication for young and middle-aged colorectal cancer(CRC)survivors to resume their normal social ***,these survivors encounter significant challenges during their RTW ***,scientific research is necessary to explore the barriers and facilitating factors of returning to work for young and middle-aged CRC *** To examine the current RTW status among young and middle-aged CRC survivors and to analyze the impact of RTW self-efficacy(RTW-SE),fear of progression(FoP),eHealth literacy(eHL),family resilience(FR),and financial toxicity(FT)on their RTW *** A cross-sectional investigation was adopted in this *** September 2022 to February 2023,a total of 209 participants were recruited through a convenience sampling method from the gastrointestinal surgery department of a class A tertiary hospital in *** investigation utilized a general information questionnaire alongside scales assessing RTW-SE,FoP,eHL,FR,and *** analyze the factors that influence RTW outcomes among young and middle-aged CRC survivors,Cox regression modeling and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis were *** A total of 43.54%of the participants successfully returned to work,with an average RTW time of 100 *** regression univariate analysis revealed that RTW-SE,FoP,eHL,FR,and FT were significantly different between the non-RTW and RTW groups(Plitating their timely reintegration into mainstream society.

MOF-derived Ni3Fe/Ni/NiFe2O4@C for enhanced hydrogen storage performance of MgH2

Magnesium hydride（MgH2） is an important material for hydrogen（H2） storage and transportation owing to its high capacity and ***,its intrinsic properties have considerably limited its industrial *** this study,the NiFe-800 catalyst as metal-organic framework（MOF） derivative was first utilized to promote the intrinsic properties of *** to pure MgH2,which releases1.24 wt% H2in 60 min at 275℃,the MgH2-10 NiFe-800 composite releases 5.85 wt% H2in the same *** at a lower temperature of 250℃,the MgH2-10 NiFe-800 composite releases 3.57 wt% H2,surpassing the performance of pure MgH2at 275℃.Correspondingly,while pure MgH2absorbs 2.08 wt% H2in60 min at 125℃,the MgH2-10 NiFe-800 composite absorbs 5.35 wt% H2in just 1 min,Remarkably,the MgH2-10 NiFe-800 composite absorbs 2.27 wt% H2in 60 min at 50℃ and 4.64 wt% H2at 75℃.This indicates that MgH2-10 NiFe-800 exhibits optimum performance with excellent kinetics at low ***,the capacity of the MgH2-10 NiFe-800 composite remains largely stable after ***,the Mg2Ni/Mg2NiH4acts as a "hydrogen pump",providing effective diffusion channels that enhance the kinetic process of the composite during ***,Fe0facilitates electron transfer and creates hydrogen diffusion channels and catalytic ***,carbon（C） effectively prevents particle agglomeration and maintains the cyclic stability of the ***,the synergistic effects of Mg2Ni/Mg2NiH4,Fe0,and C considerably improve the kinetic properties and cycling stability of *** work offers an effective and valuable approach to improving the hydrogen storage efficiency in the commercial application of MgH2.

lithium-sulfur(li-S)batteries are widely deemed to be one of the most potential candidates for future secondary batteries because of their remarkable energy ***,notorious polysulfide shuttling and retarded sulfur reaction kinetics pose significant obstacles to the further application of li-S *** rationally designed highly active electrocatalysts can facilitate polysulfide conversion,the universal and scalable synthesis strategies need to be ***,a universal synthetic strategy to construct a series of three-dimensional(3D)porous graphene-iron(3DGr-Fe)based electrocatalysts involving 3DGr-FeP,3DGr-Fe_(3)C,and 3DGr-Fe_(3)Se_(4)is exploited for manipulating the li-S redox *** has been observed that the implementation of a 3D porous Gr architecture leads to the well-designed conductive networks,while the uniformly dispersed iron nanoparticles introduce an abundance of active sites,fostering the lithium polysulfide conversion,thereby bolstering the overall electrochemical *** li-S battery with the 3DGr-Fe based electrocatalyst exhibits remarkable capacity retention of 94.8%upon 100 times at 0.2 ***,the soft-packaged li-S pouch cell based on such a 3DGr-Fe electrocatalyst delivers superior capacity of 1060.71 mA h g^(-1)and guarantees for the continuous 30 min work of fan *** investigation gives comprehensive insights into the design,synthesis,and mechanism of 3DGr-Fe based electrocatalysts with high activity toward efficient and durable li-S batteries.

The crevice corrosion of the reinforcing steel in the carbonated simulated concrete pore solutions(SCPSs)containing 0.04 mol/L chloride was *** comparison,the steel without crevice covered on its surface was also *** showed that the crevice corrosion in the uncarbonated SCPS was not triggered and the steel remained passivity by suppressing the anodic dissolution in the crevice *** SCPS was carbonated to have pH values of 10.5 and 11.5,the crevice corrosion was easier to be activated than the widely reported pitting corrosion owing to the rapid oxygen depletion within the crevice,but the crevice corrosion damage might be alleviated to a certain extent due to the relative compact surface film formed inside the *** further carbonation led to the activation dissolution of both the crevice interior and exterior,causing the more serious corrosion *** process of the crevice corrosion was systematically analyzed by combining the electrochemical measurement results and Evens polarization diagram.

Effects of Trypsin on Proliferation of Avian Influenza Virus H9N2 Subtype in MDCK Cells

[Objective] The study aims to determine the optimal concentration of trypsin for the proliferation of avian influenza virus （AIV） H9N2 subtype in Madin- Darby canine kidney （MDCK） cells. [Method] Three AIV H9 subtype isolates were inoculated on MDCK cells respectively. Then, DMEM containing different concentrations of trypsin as maintenance media were added to MDCK monolayer cells. The cytopathic effect （CPE） was observed once every 24 h, and the HA titer of the supematant was measured by HA assay. [Result] When the trypsin concentration was 10 -20 μg/ml in DMEM, the HA titer of virus culture reached 7 log2 （1：128）. Almost all cells were cytopathic after 96 h post inoculation with 1：1 000 or 1：10 000 dilution of AIV culture, and the virus titer reached a peak after 72 -96 h. [ Conclusion] The optimal concentration of trypsin is 10 -20 pg/ml for proliferation of AIV H9N2 subtype in MDCK cells.

Cross-reactivity of anti-H pylori antibodies with membrane antigens of human erythrocytes

AIM： To investigate whether anti-H pylori antibodies have cross-reaction with antigens of erythrocyte membrane. METHODS： Blood samples were collected from 14 volunteers （8 positive and 6 negative for Hpylori detected by ^13C-urea breath test） of the general population. Erythrocyte membrane proteins of the subjects were examined by Western blot using anti-H pylori serum. The proteins related to the positive bands were identified by mass spectrum analysis. RESULTS： Anti-Hpylori antibodies had cross-reaction with the proteins of about 50 kDa of erythrocyte membranes in all samples independent of H pylori infection. One protein in the positive band was identified as Chain S, the crystal structure of the cytoplasmic domain of human erythrocyte Band-3 protein. CONCLUSION： Anti-HpyloH antibodies cross-react with some antigens of human erythrocyte membrane, which may provide a clue for the relationship between Hpylori infection and vascular disorders.

Propagating subduction initiation of the Caroline Plate at the Mussau Trench

New seismic imaging from the Mussau Trench confirms that,under horizontal compression on an oceanic plate boundary,it is within the young and weak oceanic plate that a trench will develop,and it is the young plate,not so long after its birth,that starts to subduct toward the old *** Mesozoic Pacific Plate cannot easily bend,under the joint horizontal compression and vertical gravity pull,even with a pre-existing weak zone in place and with a large age offset across the plate *** bending of the Caroline Plate near the northern end of the Mussau Trench started only after a long-time span of trench migration,and/or after a prolonged transition from initial compression to trench *** contrasting trench deformation and sedimentary accretion between two parallel seismic sections support an evident migration of underthrusting or significant longitudinal heterogeneity along the *** swift transition from underthrusting to non-thrusting can be explained by a counter-clockwise rotation of the Caroline *** miniature accretionary wedges develop even before the subduction initiates imply strong compression and uplifting before the underthrusting can *** of the Caroline Plate have been halted as the Mussau Trench is seismically rather quiet and the Lyra Trough to the east shows relaxational extension.
