Circulating RNA ZFR promotes hepatocellular carcinoma cell proliferation and epithelial-mesenchymal transition process through miR-624-3p/WEE1 axis

Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),the most common type of primary liver cancer,is the fourth leading cause of cancer-related deaths *** evidence shows that the expression of circulating RNA ZFR(circZFR)is upregulated in HCC ***,the molecular mechanism of circZFR in HCC is ***:Quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)was employed to detect the expression of circZFR,microRNA-624-3p(miR-624-3p)and WEE1 in HCC tissues and *** R assay and actinomycin D treatment assay were used to analyze the characteristics of *** functional analysis,the capacities of colony formation,cell proliferation,cell apoptosis,migration and invasion were assessed by colony formation assay,5-ethynyl-2-deoxyuridine(EdU)assay,flow cytometry assay and transwell *** blot was used to examine the protein levels of WEE1 and epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)-related *** interactions between miR-624-3p and circZFR or WEE1 were validated by dual-luciferase reporter assay and RNA immunoprecipitation(RIP)*** models were established to determine the role of circZFR in ***:circZFR and WEE1 were upregulated,while miR-624-3p expression was reduced in HCC tissues and *** could sponge miR-624-3p,and WEE1 was a downstream gene of *** of circZFR significantly reduced the malignant behaviors of HCC and that co-transfection with miR624-3p inhibitor restored this *** of WEE1 abolished the inhibitory effect of miR624-3p mimic on HCC ***,circZFR acted as a competitive endogenous RNA(ceRNA)to regulate WEE1 expression by targeting ***,in vivo studies have illustrated that circZFR knockdown inhibited tumor ***:circZFR knockdown reduced HCC cell proliferation,migration and invasion and promoted apoptosis by regulating the miR-624-3p/WEE1 axis,suggesting that the circZFR/miR-624-3p/WEE1 axis might

The significance of resource recycling for coking wastewater treatment:based on environmental and economic life cycle assessment

The sustainability of the coking industry is supported by reasonable production profit and environmental quality *** traditional measures substantially increased the related costs for enterprises to reach *** paper aims to develop a comprehensive cost combined environmental impact assessment method that is necessary for the analysis of wastewater treatment *** three coking wastewater treatment processes in China were *** showed that eutrophication dominantly contributed to the overall environmental *** effluent quality could significantly reduce the total environmental *** terms of an economic perspective,the price of raw materials was the main factor that affected the operating cost of comprehensive *** on subsystem analysis,the pretreatment stage accounted for the majority of environmental and cost burdens,respectively reaching 64%-78%and 64%-86%.Optimizing the pretreatment process by enhancing the efficiency of high concentration raw material recovery and substituting toxic raw materials for extractant could reduce the environmental impact and economic cost by 43.8%and 57%,respectively,which was an effective way to improve the potential performance of coking wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs).

Transparent photovoltaic devices(TPVDs)have attracted increasing attention in emerging electronic *** the application scenarios extend,there raise higher requirements regarding the stability and operating temperature range of *** this work,a unique preparation strategy is proposed for air stable TPVD with a wide operating temperature range,i.e.,a nanoscale architecture termed as H-TPVD is constructed that integrates a free-standing and highly transparent conductive hybrid film of graphene and single-walled carbon nanotubes(G-SWNT TCF for short)with a metal oxide NiO/TiO_(2)*** preparation approach is suitable for scaling *** to the excellent transparent conductivity of the freestanding G-SWNT hybrid film and the ultrathin NiO/TiO_(2)heterojunction(100 nm),H-TPVD selectively absorbs the ultraviolet(UV)band of sunlight and has a transparency of up to 71%in the visible *** integrated nanoscale architecture manifests the significant holecollecting capability of the G-SWNT hybrid film and the efficient carrier generation and separation within the ultrathin NiO/TiO_(2)heterojunction,resulting in excellent performance of the H-TPVD with a specific detectivity of 2.7×1010 ***,the freestanding G-SWNT TCF is a super stable and non-porous two-dimensional film that can insulate gas molecules,thereby protecting the surface properties of NiO/TiO_(2)heterojunctions and enhancing the stability of *** subjected to 20,000 cycles and storage in air for three months,the performance parameters such as photo-response signal,output power,and specific detectivity show no noticeable *** particular,the as-fabricated self-powered H-TPVD can operate over a wide temperature range from^(−1)80 to 300°C,and can carry out solar-blind UV optical communication in this *** addition,the 4×4 array H-TPVD demonstrates clear optical *** results make it possible for H-TPVD to expand its potential application scenarios.

The occurrence of power flow reversal and off-limit of the voltage on common bus becomes more frequent because of the increasing penetration of renewable energy sources(RES)in *** guarantee the safe and stable operation,adjusting the power output of RES-based inverters to avoid the off-limit voltage is *** the apparent power characteristics of inverters,as well as the minimum participation of active power,a voltage control strategy based on stage division to be within the voltage limit is investigated in this *** the case of unknown demand and distribution of loads,the proposed control strategy is able to make full use of the apparent power to regulate voltage using simple calculations,while the performance in economical operation is *** results prove the effectiveness of the proposed method on the common bus off-limit voltage adjustment.

Registration system reform and initial public offering ownership preference:Evidence from China

Whether registration system reform(RSR)can curb administrative intervention and create a fair market environment has long been a concern in *** explore this issue from the perspective of the initial public offering(IPO)preference based on the entropy balancing method,and findings are as ***,an IPO ownership preference exists under approval *** is,state-owned enterprises(SOEs)are more likely than private enterprises to obtain IPO ***,RSR significantly changes this preference,especially for non-politically connected private ***,the post-IPO market performance of SOEs is inferior to that of private enterprises under approval system,thus excluding the view that approval is prioritized for SOEs because of superior ***,compared with SOEs,private enterprises are more likely to switch the issuance system from approval system to registration system;this change makes it easier for them to obtain IPO approval,indicating that private enterprise owners perceive the registration channel to be ***,the effect of RSR on IPO ownership preference mainly occurs in companies in three major urban agglomerations in China—the Pearl River Delta,the Yangtze River Delta,and the Beijing–Tian jin–Hebei region—and in technology-intensive ***,our findings reveal that RSR cultivates a fairer IPO approval process.

Environmental characteristics of trace metals in seawater from the Ninety East Ridge in the Indian Ocean

The Ninety East Ridge in the Indian Ocean has complex and unique characteristics. The concentrations and distribution characteristics of 10 trace metals (V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Cd, Pb, and U) in seawater from the Ninety East Ridge in the Indian Ocean were investigated. Results show that the average concentrations of different trace metals in all the collected seawater samples were 1.134 mu g/L for V, 0.158 mu g/L for Cr, 0.489 mu g/L for Mn, 0.427 mu g/L for Fe, 0.011 mu g/L for Co, 0.395 mu g/L for Ni, 0.403 mu g/L for Cu, 0.097 mu g/L for Cd, 0.139 mu g/L for Pb, and 3.470 mu g/L for U. differences in the horizontal and vertical distributions of all measured trace metals were revealed, and the occurrence of high concentrations was nonuniform. In addition, the significant differences in the concentration distribution of different trace metals in seawater on both sides of the Ninety East Ridge present regional segmentation in the area for various trace metals in deep sea water. This study provided basic data for future investigations on the environmental and ecological impact of trace metals in the Indian Ocean and the potential water mass transport mechanism.

Chemokine platelet factor 4 accelerates peripheral nerve regeneration by regulating Schwann cell activation and axon elongation

Schwann cells in peripheral nerves react to traumatic nerve injury by attempting to grow and *** r,it is unclear what factors play a role in this *** this study,we searched a GEO database and found that expression of platelet factor 4 was markedly up-regulated after sciatic nerve *** factor is an important molecule in cell apoptosis,diffe rentiation,survival,and ***,polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemical staining confirmed the change in platelet factor 4 in the sciatic nerve at different time points after ***-linked immunosorbent assay confirmed that platelet factor 4 was secreted by Schwann *** also found that silencing platelet factor 4 decreased the proliferation and migration of primary cultured Schwann cells,while exogenously applied platelet factor 4 stimulated Schwann cell prolife ration and migration and neuronal axon ***,knocking out platelet factor 4 inhibited the prolife ration of Schwann cells in injured rat sciatic *** findings suggest that Schwann cell-secreted platelet factor 4 may facilitate peripheral nerve repair and regeneration by regulating Schwann cell activation and axon ***,platelet factor 4 may be a potential therapeutic target for traumatic peripheral nerve injury.

In 2022,the Pakistan witnessed the hottest spring and wettest summer in *** devastating floods inundated a large portion of Pakistan and caused enormous ***,the primary water source and its contributions to these unprecedented floods remain *** on the reservoir inflow measurements,Multi-Source Weighted-Ensemble Precipitation(MSWEP),the fifth generation ECMWF atmospheric reanalysis(ERA5)products,this study quantified the contributions of monsoon precipitation,antecedent snow-melts,and orographic precipitation enhancement to floods in *** found that the Indus experienced at least four inflow up-rushes,which was mainly supplied by precipitation and snowmelt;In upper Indus,abnormally high temperature continued to influence the whole summer and lead to large amounts of snowmelts which not only was a key water supply to the flood but also provided favorable soil moisture conditions for the latter *** July,the snowmelt has higher contributions than the precipitation to the streamflow of Indus River,with contribution value of more than 60%.Moreover,the snowmelt could still supply 20%-40%water to the lower Indus in July and August;The leading driver of 2022 mega-floods over the southern Pakistan in July and August was dominated by the precipitation,where terrain disturbance induced precipitation account to approximately 33%over the southern *** results help to understand the mechanisms of flood formation,and to better predict future flood risks over complex terrain regions.

In this study,the double loaded Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF(NF:Ni foam)thin film catalysts were prepared for the first time via chemical deposition method at room *** optimizing the reducing agent concentration to 0.9 mol·L^(-1),the as-obtained Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF exhibited the twisted ribbon structure with more distinct three-dimensional hierarchy and the smaller particle size,showing the good catalytic property for the hydrolysis of NaBH_(4)*** H_(2)generation rate of Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF and binary Co-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF under visible light irradiation surpassed the value under natural *** apparent activation energy of Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF(45.0 kJ·mol^(-1))under visible light irradiation was obviously reduced when compared with the natural condition(48.4 kJ·mol^(-1))and binary Co-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF(60.6 kJ·mol^(-1))under visible light ***,the catalytic performance of the optimized Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF thin film catalyst was superior to most of the reported non-noble metal and even noble metal ***,it illustrated that the catalytic H_(2)production performance of Co-Fe-B@g-C_(3)N_(4)/NF thin film was distinctly improved after the introduction of light and multicomponent recombination.
