Chronic cerebral hypoperfusion is one of the pathophysiological mechanisms contributing to cognitive decline by causing white matter *** phagocytosing myelin debris in a timely manner can promote remyelination and contribute to the repair of white ***,milk fat globule-epidermal growth factor-factor 8(MFG-E8),a microglial phagocytosis-related protein,has not been well studied in hypoperfusion-related cognitive *** found that the expression of MFG-E8 was significantly decreased in the brain of mice after bilateral carotid artery stenosis(BCAS).MFG-E8 knockout mice demonstrated more severe BCAS-induced cognitive impairments in the behavioral *** addition,we discovered that the deletion of MFG-E8 aggravated white matter damage and the destruction of myelin microstructure through fluorescent staining and electron ***,MFG-E8 overexpression by AAV improved white matter injury and increased the number of mature oligodendrocytes after ***,in vitro and in vivo experiments showed that MFG-E8 could enhance the phagocytic function of microglia via theαVβ3/αVβ5/Rac1.pathway and IGF-1.production to promote the differentiation of oligodendrocyte progenitor cells into mature ***,we found that MFG-E8 was mainly derived from astrocytes,not *** findings suggest that MFG-E8 is a potential therapeutic target for cognitive impairments following cerebral hypoperfusion.

Traditionally,wildlife habitat research mainly extracts two-dimensional habitat ***,they live in three-dimensional space,and the three-dimensional structure of the forest ecosystem is an important factor affecting the composition of the mammal community(Fig.1.,b),and the three-dimensional structure of the forest also determines the behavior pattern of wildlife multidimensional habitat selection or use(Flaspohler et al.201.;Palminteri et al.201.;Müller et al.201.).For instance,forest structure determines the vertical distribution of annual edible shoots,fruits,or seed nuts resources in space,providing additional ecological niches for frugivores,rodents,and other species,and then leading to niche differentiation of wild animals in vertical space utilization,thus increasing species coexistence(*** et al.2023).

Uncontrolled growth of lithium dendrite will lead to low Coulombic efficiency and poor cycle stability,which hinders the commercialization of lithium metal ***,a novel modified lithium anode with reduced graphene oxide conductive network containing trace lithiophilic phosphorus(P-rGO/Cu)is prepared by electrospraying technique combined with heat treatment *** rGO layer has a concave and undulating conductive structure,which can significantly improve the effective electrical contact between lithium metal and the current collector,speed up the kinetics of interfacial electron transport and reaction,and improve the resistance of the negative electrode to the internal stress caused by volume change of the lithium,which is advantageous for the stability of the SEI *** extremely small and uniformly distributed red phosphorus element avoids the volume change caused by lithiation to the maximum *** two-phase compound Li_(3)P obtained by alloying P with Li can directionally induce the homogeneous nucleation and dense deposition of lithium metal,address the issue of lithium dendrites and extend the cycle life of the *** obtained P-rGO/Cu exhibits excellent electrochemical performance with an average Coulombic efficiency(CE)of 98%at a current density of 1.mA·cm^(−2) for 400 cycles,and the capacity retention rate of the full cell matched with lithium iron phosphate(LFP)is 83%after 400 cycles at 1..

Spin glass theory,as a paradigm for describing disordered magnetic systems,constitutes a prominent subject of study within statistical *** symmetry breaking(RSB),as one of the pivotal concepts for the understanding of spin glass theory,means that under identical conditions,disordered systems can yield distinct states with nontrivial *** fiber laser(RFL)based on Rayleigh scattering(RS)is a complex disordered system,owing to the disorder and stochasticity of *** this work,for the first time,a precise theoretical model is elaborated for studying the photonic phase transition via the platform of RS-based RFL,in which we clearly reveal that,apart from the pump power,the photon phase variation in RFL is also an analogy to the temperature term in spin-glass phase transition,leading to a novel insight into the intrinsic mechanisms of photonic phase *** addition,based on this model and real-time high-fidelity detection spectral evolution,we theoretically predict and experimentally observe the mode-asymmetric characteristics of photonic phase transition in RS-based *** finding contributes to a deeper understanding of the photonic RSB regime and the dynamics of RS-based RFL.

Through carrying out the high-temperature tensile experiments on an as-extruded Mg-1.wt%Y alloy at 350℃,400℃,450℃,500℃and 550℃,the mechanical behavior and fracture mechanisms at elevated temperatures are investigated and *** results show that with the increase of temperature,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the alloy increase at first and then decrease,while that the elongation ratio decreases firstly and then *** the sample being tested at 350℃,the values of yield strength,ultimate tensile strength and the elongation ratio are 1.8 MPa,266 MPa and 1.%,*** 400℃,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength reach the maximum values of,respectively,1.8 MPa and 277 MPa,but the elongation ratio is the lowest and its value is only 8%.When the applied temperature is increased to 550℃,the values of yield strength and ultimate tensile strength,respectively,decrease to 1.0 MPa and 1.2 MPa and the elongation ratio increases to 38%.Failure analysis demonstrates that the fracture surfaces of different samples are mainly composed of plastic dimples and exhibit the typical characteristic of ductile *** observation to the fracture side surfaces indicates that at the temperatures of 350℃and 400℃,microcracks mainly initiate in the interior of Mg_(24)Y_(5)*** the temperatures are 450℃,500℃and 550℃,the cracks preferentially initiate at the Mg_(24)Y_(5)/α-Mg interfaces.

Background:With increasing axial length(AL)and myopia progression,the micro-structure of the retina and choroid gradually *** study describes the longitudinal changes in retinal and choroidal thickness in school-aged children with myopia and explores the relationship between changes in choroidal thickness and myopia ***:An exploratory analysis of a randomized trial was ***(n=1.8,aged 7 to 1. years)with myopia from-0.75 diopter(D)to-4.00 D were enrolled in this prospective longitudinal *** refraction,AL,retinal and choroidal thicknesses were measured at baseline and at 1.and 2-year follow-ups."Rapid progression myopia"was defined as increasing in myopia>1.00 D and'"stable progression myopia"was≤1.00 D during the 2-year *** affecting the changes in choroidal thickness were analysed using linear mixed ***:AL significantly increased by 0.67±0.24 mm with a myopic shift of-1.50±0.64 D over the 2 *** overall retinal thickness increased from 251.1.±1..91.m at baseline to 253.47±1..74μm at the 2-year followup(F=23.785,P1..The subfoveal choroidal thickness decreased from 231.03±54.04μm at baseline to 206.53±59.71.m at the 2-year follow-up(F=73.358,P1..Choroidal thinning was significantly associated with AL elongation(β=-43.579μm/mm,P=0.002)and sex(β=-1..258,P=0.001..Choroidal thickness continued to decrease in subjects with rapid progression(F=92.06,P1.but not in those with steady progression(F=2.23,P=0.1.9).Conclusion:Significant choroidal thinning was observed and was associated with rapid progression and *** findings indicate a need to understand the role of the choroid in eye growth and myopia ***/Precis:The macular choroidal thickness of myopic children is relevant to different degrees of myopic progression in this 2-year longitudinal *** findings suggest that control of choroidal thickness might work to regulate human ocular growth.
