Bi2WO6 was modified with MnOx via a photodeposition method. Multiple techniques including XRD, SEM, TEM, UV-Vis and XPS were applied to investigate the structures, morphologies and optical characteristics of the as-prepared sample. The nanostructured composites were formed with MnOx loaded on the surface of flower-like Bi2WO6, where MnOx exists as a mixed-valence manganese of Mn3＋ and Mn4＋ as verified by XPS. The photocatalytic activity of the MnOx/Bi2WO6 composites was evaluated by using rhodamine B （RhB） as a target organic pollutant under visible light irradiation. The as-prepared MnOx/Bi2WO6 composites exhibited much higher photo- catalytic activities than pure Bi2WO6. The enhanced activities were attributed to the interfacial transfer of photo- generated holes from Bi2WO6 to MnOx, leading to effective way to improve photocatalytic efficiency, which may be extended to a strategy for other semiconductor. Based on the experimental results, a possible mechanism of MnOx for the enhancement of visible light performance was proposed.

A thermo-and pH-dual responsive luminescent hydrogel was successfully constructed by coupling dysprosium-containing polyoxometalates Na_9 DyW_(10) O_(36)(DyW_(10)) with the ABA triblock copolymer, where the B block is PEO and the A block is the thermosensitive poly(methoxydi(ethylene glycol) methacrylate-co-N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate). The complex hybrid underwent a sol-gel phase transition above the lower critical solution temperature(LCST) of the A block. DyW_(10) was electrostatically encapsulated into the hydrophobic domain of the A block with enhanced photoluminescence. When temperature cooled down, the luminescence could be restored. By addition of acids to protonate the A block, and emission of DyW_(10) was simultaneously enhanced. Sensitivity of poly(N,N-dimethy laminoethyl methacrylate)(PDMAEMA) to pH also enabled the emission of DyW_(10)/copolymer hydrogel to be reversibly switched by alternating acid/base treatments.

In three-phase four-wire systems, unbalanced loads can cause grid currents to be unbalanced, and this may cause the neutral point potential on the grid side to shift. The neutral point potential shift will worsen the control precision as well as the performance of the threephase four-wire unified power quality conditioner(UPQC),and it also leads to unbalanced three-phase output voltage,even causing damage to electric equipment. To deal with unbalanced loads, this paper proposes a matching-ratio compensation algorithm(MCA) for the fundamental active component of load currents, and by employing this MCA,balanced three-phase grid currents can be realized under 100% unbalanced loads. The steady-state fluctuation and the transient drop of the DC bus voltage can also be restrained. This paper establishes the mathematical model of the UPQC, analyzes the mechanism of the DC bus voltage fluctuations, and elaborates the interaction between unbalanced grid currents and DC bus voltage fluctuations;two control strategies of UPQC under three-phase stationary coordinate based on the MCA are given, and finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy are verified by experiment results.

Qinghai Lake is the largest saline lake in *** change in the lake volume is an indicator of the variation in water resources and their response to climate change on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(QTP)in *** present study quantitatively evaluated the effects of climate change and land use/cover change(LUCC)on the lake volume of the Qinghai Lake in China from 1958 to 2018,which is crucial for water resources management in the Qinghai Lake *** explore the effects of climate change and LUCC on the Qinghai Lake volume,we analyzed the lake level observation data and multi-period land use/land cover(LULC)data by using an improved lake volume estimation method and Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Trade-offs(InVEST)*** results showed that the lake level decreased at the rate of 0.08 m/a from 1958 to 2004 and increased at the rate of 0.16 m/a from 2004 to *** lake volume decreased by 105.40×10^(8) m^(3) from 1958 to 2004,with the rate of 2.24×10^(8) m^(3)/a,whereas it increased by 74.02×10^(8) m^(3) from 2004 to 2018,with the rate of 4.66×10^(8) m^(3)/***,the climate of the Qinghai Lake Basin changed from warm-dry to *** 1958 to 2018,the increase in precipitation and the decrease in evaporation controlled the change of the lake volume,which were the main climatic factors affecting the lake volume *** 1977 to 2018,the measured water yield showed an"increase-decrease-increase"fluctuation in the Qinghai Lake *** effects of climate change and LUCC on the measured water yield were obviously *** 1977 to 2018,the contribution rate of LUCC was -0.76% and that of climate change was 100.76%;the corresponding rates were 8.57% and 91.43% from 1977 to 2004,respectively,and -4.25% and 104.25% from 2004 to 2018,*** analysis of the effects and contribution rates of climate change and LUCC on the Qinghai Lake volume revealed the scientific significance of climate change and LUCC,as well as

Due to their heat/cool storage characteristics, thermostatically controlled loads(TCLs) play an important role in demand response programmers. However, the modeling of the heat/cool storage characteristic of large numbers of TCLs is not simple. In this paper, the heat exchange power is adopted to calculate the power instead of the average power, and the relationship between the heat exchange power and energy storage is considered to develop an equivalent storage model, based on which the time-varying power constraints and the energy storage constraints are developed to establish the overall day-ahead schedulingmodel. Finally, the proposed scheduling method is verified using the simulation results of a six-bus system.
