Objective： Cancer-associated fibroblasts （CAFs） are one of the hallmarks of the cancer microenvironment. Recent evidence has indicated that CAFs are more competent in enhancing cancer cell growth and migration than normal fibroblasts. However, the unique protein expression of CAFs has not been fully elucidated. This study aims to investigate the characterizations of colon CAFs by comparing the differential protein expression between CAFs and normal fibroblasts. Methods： Primary fibroblasts were isolated from surgical specimen of human colon cancer and matched normal colonic tissue. Purity of the cell population was verified through immunostain analysis. Total cell lysates and conditioned media from each group of cells were extracted, and protein expression analysis was con- ducted using the surface-enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry （SELDI-TOF-MS） ProteinChip platform. Results： Most primary cells showed typical fibroblast-like features after two weeks. Increased proportion of a-smooth muscle actin-positive myofibroblasts was detected within the CAFs in four of the six pairs of primary cells. Fibroblast activation protein was weakly expressed in most cells without differences. Using SELDI-TOF-MS ProteinChip platform, four protein peaks mass over charge ratio （m/z） 1142, 3011, 4035, and 4945 were detected in the total cell lysates, and two protein peaks m/z 1368 and 1389 were detected in the conditioned media. The potential candidate proteins found in the Swiss-Prot database include morphogenetic neuropeptides, FMRFamide-related peptides, insulin-like growth factor II, thymosin 13-4-like protein 3, and tight junction-associated protein 1. Conclusions： Using the SELDI-ProteinChip platform, differential protein expressions were identified in colon CAFs compared with normal colonic stromal fibroblasts. The complex proteomic alternations in colon CAFs may play important roles related to the colon cancer microenvironment.

In this work, four fused ring electron acceptors(FREAs), 2F-C5, 2F-C6, 2F-C8 and 2F-C10, are developed to investigate the effect of side-chain size on the molecular properties and photovoltaic performance of FREA systematically. The elongation of side-chains in the FREAs not only improves their solubility in the processing solvent, but also enhances their miscibility with the donor PBDB-T. It helps the FREA diffuse into the donor PBDB-T during film-formation, thus leading to the decrease in domain size and domain purity from PBDB-T:2F-C5 to PBDB-T:2F-C10 blend films in sequence. The smaller domain size affords more D/A interfaces to benefit exciton dissociation and inhibit monomolecular recombination. However, severe bimolecular recombination occurs when the domain purity decreases to a critical point. Due to the dual function of the increment of side-chain length, both short-circuit current density(J_(SC)) and fill factor(FF) of devices exhibit an evolution of first increasing then decreasing from 2F-C5, 2F-C6, 2F-C8 to 2F-C10 based OSCs. The PBDB-T:2F-C8 based OSCs get a fine balance in morphology with moderate domain size as well as high domain purity simultaneously for the least charge carrier recombination, thus achieving the highest power conversion efficiency of 12.28% with the best J_(SC)(21.27 mA cm^(-2)) and FF(71.96%).

An efficient method for the one-pot synthesis of 2-oxazolines from ethyl a-cyanocinnamate derivatives with acetamide and N-bromosuccinimide（NBS） in the presence of K3PO4 was developed. The reaction was performed smoothly and cleanly to give 2-oxazolines in good to excellent yields（up to 95%） in acetone at room temperature. Thirteen examples were investigated and the results indicated that a large range of a-cyanocinnamate derivatives could be suitable for this method. Based on the outcomes of experiment, a possible consecutive nucleophilic addition- cyclization pathway was proposed.

Self-assembly of supramolecular polymers in water from tetracationic and tetraanionic monomers in water through cooperative electrostatic attraction and aromatic stacking

The cooperative electrostatic attraction and π-π aromatic stacking interactions between tetrahedral tetrapyridinium TP and three tetraanionic tetraphenylethylene derivatives TPE-1～3 led to the formation of a new kind of supramolecular polymer networks in water, which have been confirmed by^1 H NMR,fluorescence, isothermal titration calorimetric(ITC) and dynamic light scattering(DLS) experiments. ITC studies show that the contributions of enthalpy and entropy were comparable, reflecting the importance of hydrophobicity in driving the intermolecular aromatic stacking. DLS experiments indicate that the linear supramolecular polymers formed by these tetratopic monomers further aggregated into networks of 10~2-nm size.

As one of the most important tumor-associated antigens of colorectal adenocarcinoma, the carcinoembryonic antigen （CEA） threatens human health seriously ali over the globe. Fast electrical and highly sensitive detection of the CEA with A1GaN/GaN high electron mobility transistor is demonstrated experimentally. To achieve a low detection limit, the Au-gated sensing area of the sensor is functionalized with a CEA aptamer instead of the corresponding antibody. The proposed aptasensor has successfully detected different concentrations （ranging from 50picogram/milliliter （pg/ml） to 50 nanogram/milliliter （ng/ml）） of CEA and achieved a detection limit as low as 50pg/ml at Vas = 0.5 V. The drain-source current shows a c/ear increase of 11.5μA under this bias.

The hydrogenated amorphous SiO_(x) films(a-SiOx:H)with various oxygen contents have been prepared using plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition *** films were implanted with erbium and annealed by rapid thermal *** intense photoluminescence(PL)of Er at 1.54μm has been observed at 77K and at room *** PL intensity depends strongly on both the oxygen content of the film and the rapid thermal annealing temperature and reaches its maximum if the ratio of O/Si in the film is approximately equal to 1.0 at 77K and to 1.76 at room *** microstructure of the film also has strong influences on the PL *** PL intensity at 250K is slightly more than a half of that at *** means that the temperature quenching effect of the PL intensity is very weak.

Mechanical properties of a microalloyed bainitic steel after hot forging and tempering

Mechanical properties of a newly developed microalloyed bainitic steel were investigated after the hot forging, air cooling and tempering process. The microstructure of the as forged bainitic steel mainly consists of granular bainite and -20 vol. % martensite. The fraction of retained austenite remains unchanged until tempering at 200 ℃, above which it decreases significantly. The increase of tempering temperature leads to decreases of both ultimate tensile strength and total elongation but decreases of both yield strength and reduction of area. The maximum and mini- mum values of impact toughness were observed after tempering at around 200 and 400 ℃, respectively. These effects are mainly attributed to the decomposition of martensite/austenite con stituents and the tempering effects in martensite. The tempering of the forged bainitic steel at around 200 ℃ results in an excellent combination of strength and toughness, which is comparable to that of the conventional quenched and-tempered 40Cr steel. Therefore, low-tempering treatment coupled with post-forging residual stress relieving is a feasible method to further improve the mechanical prooerties of the bainitic foging steel.
