Enhanced autophagic clearance of amyloid-βvia histone deacetylase 6-mediated V-ATPase assembly and lysosomal acidification protects against Alzheimer's disease in vitro and in vivo

Recent studies have suggested that abnormal acidification of lysosomes induces autophagic accumulation of amyloid-βin neurons,which is a key step in senile plaque ***,resto ring normal lysosomal function and rebalancing lysosomal acidification in neurons in the brain may be a new treatment strategy for Alzheimer's *** acetylation/deacetylation plays a central role in lysosomal ***,we show that inhibiting the classic microtubule deacetylase histone deacetylase 6 with an histone deacetylase 6 shRNA or thehistone deacetylase 6 inhibitor valproic acid promoted lysosomal reacidification by modulating V-ATPase assembly in Alzheimer's *** rthermore,we found that treatment with valproic acid markedly enhanced *** clearance of amyloid-βaggregates,and ameliorated cognitive deficits in a mouse model of Alzheimer's *** findings demonstrate a previously unknown neuroprotective mechanism in Alzheimer's disease,in which histone deacetylase 6 inhibition by valproic acid increases V-ATPase assembly and lysosomal acidification.

Impact of one satellite outage on ARAIM depleted constellation configurations

Advanced Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring(ARAIM) is a new technology that will provide worldwide coverage of vertical guidance in aviation navigation. The ARAIM performance and improvement under depleted constellations is a practical problem that needs to be faced and researched further. It is a shortcut that improves the availability in position domain whose key idea is to replace the conventional least squares process with a non-least-squares estimator to lower the integrity risk in exchange for a slight increase in nominal position error. The contributions given in this paper include two parts: First, the impacts of one satellite outage on different constellations are analyzed and compared. The conclusion is that GPS is more sensitive and vulnerable to one satellite outage. Second, a constellation weighted ARAIM(CW-ARAIM)position estimator is proposed. The position solution is replaced by a constellation weighted average solution to eliminate the constellation difference. The new solution will move close to the constellation solutions with respect to the accuracy requirement. The simulation results under baseline GPS and Galileo dual-constellation show that the one GPS satellite outage will knock the availability from 91% to only 50%. The performance remains stable with one Galileo satellite outage. With the assistance of the CW-ARAIM method, the availability can increase from 50% to more than80% under depleted GPS configurations. Even without any satellite outage, the proposed method can effectively improve the availability from 91.29% to 98.75%. The test results under optimistic constellations further verify that a balanced constellation is more important than more satellites on orbit and the superiority of CW-ARAIM method is still effective.

Runtime support for type-safe and context-based behavior adaptation

Context-awareness is becoming critical for mo- bile and ubiquitous computing, where the application needs dynamically adapt its behavior to its execution environment. Context-oriented programming （COP） languages support dy- namic behavior adaptation, however, they do not support dy- namic layer addition. As a result, they provide little support for the runtime adaptation of application behavior in case that unpredictable execution environments are encountered. Furthermore, block-structured constructs for layer activation hardly support fine-grain adaptation and separate changes of contexts and execution of context-specific methods with dif- ficulty. In this paper, we propose a virtual machine （VM）- centric approach to address these issues. It incorporates ob- ject composition and delegation into the VM to implement layer activation, and extends existing VM services to sup- port dynamic layer addition. To ensure that our approach preserves the type safety properties of the program, we de- velop a calculus built on featherweight Java （FJ） to describe the approach, focus on type-checking issues, and prove type soundness of the calculus. We also present the implementa- tion and evaluation of our approach. The evaluation demon- strates that our approach has advantages over the compiler- based approach proposed by JCOP.

Molecular dynamics simulation of aluminum inhibited leaching during ion-adsorbed type rare earth ore leaching process

Molecular dynamics simulation was adopted to study the interaction between sulfosalicylic acid and aluminum,lanthanum and yttrium,and adsorption on kaolinite surfaces.A complexation reaction occurs between sulfosalicylic acid and aluminum,with an interaction energy of-10472.05 kJ/mol.O—Al covalent bonds are formed with a peak value of 7.93,while there is only weak adsorption between sulfosalicylic acid and rare earth ions.A hydrogen bonding reaction with 13605.82 kJ/mol energy occurs between sulfosalicylic acid and the surface of kaolinite(100).Thus,sulfosalicylic acid can form a complex with free aluminum ions,and can also be adsorbed on kaolinite by hydrogen bonding with aluminum in kaolinite(100)*** of ion-adsorbed type rare earth ore was performed with aluminum inhibited,results show that when sulfosalicylic acid dosage increases from 0 to 0.15 wt%,aluminum ion concentration in the leaching solution decreases from 273.23 to 47.19 mg/*** the effect of leaching pH value on the effect of sulfosalicylic acid on aluminum inhibition was studied,the result shows that,when the leaching pH value is 4.0—5.0,the rare earth leaching rate and the aluminum ion concentration basically remain *** molecular dynamics simulation results were verified by detection and analysis of XPS and SEM.

A high dynamics algorithm based on steepest ascent method for GNSS receiver

The research of unmanned aerial vehicles＇（UAVs＇）autonomy navigation and landing guidance with computer vision has important ***,because of the image blurring,the position of the cooperative points cannot be obtained accurately,and the pose estimation algorithms based on the feature points have low *** this research,the pose estimation algorithm of UAV is proposed based on feature lines of the cooperative object for autonomous *** method uses the actual shape of the cooperative-target on ground and the principle of vanishing *** angle is calculated from the vanishing *** angle is calculated from the location of the target in the ***,the remaining extrinsic parameters are calculated by the coordinates *** results show that the pose estimation algorithm based on line feature has a higher precision and is more reliable than the pose estimation algorithm based on points ***,the error of the algorithm we proposed is small enough when the UAV is near to the landing strip,and it can meet the basic requirements of UAV＇s autonomous landing.

The valence change of samarium from trivalent to divalent state in strontium borates (SrB6O10)prepared in air was observed. The high resolution spectra of Sm2+ in matrix were studied between 10 K and 300 K. The results showed that three crystallographic sites for Sm2+ were available in the host. Energy transfer among these sites was possible. The vibronic transition of 5D0-7F0 of Sm2+ was studied at room temperature and the Huang-Rhys factor S was calculated. Due to the thermal population, 5D1 -7F0 transition at room temperature was observed

UAV autonomous navigation is very useful in many applications, and path planning is one of the key technologies for UAV autonomous navigation. In this paper, the path planning problem to find the optimal path from the start location to the destination in an indoor environment is studied based on Ant Colony Optimization （ACO） algorithm. The workspace of UAV is modeled by applying the grid method, which is usually used in ground robot planning. With the help of 3D gird and new climbing weight parameter, a modified algorithm is presented to solve the premature convergence and low efficiency problem of traditional Ant Colony Optimization algorithm. The simulation results show that these improvements make the search of the optimal path rapidly and efficiently.
