No.el bo.o.-co.taining bio.ngineering co.o.y- m.r and its α-hydo.y-ω-m.tho.y-po.y(ethy- lene o.ide (PEo. m.cro.ranched derivatives were synthesized by (1) partially am.do.ysis o. po.y(m.leic anhydride-alt-m.thyl vinyl ether) w?th ethano.am.ne ester o. diphenylbo.o.ic acid and (2) esterificatio. o. synthesized B-co.- taining co.o.ym.rs with PEo. They had a co.0} binatio. o. hydro.hilic/hydro.ho.ic linkages, free carbo.ylic gro.ps, po.itive charges and an io.ized o.gano.o.o. linkage as antitum.r sites, alo.g with an ability to.interact with HeLa cells. The structure, co.0}o.itio. and pro.erties (cy- to.o.icity and antitum.r activity) o. synthe- sized co.o.ym.rs were investigated. In vitro.cyto.o.icity results, o.tained by the fluo.e scence m.cro.co.y m.asurem.nts indicate that unlike the virgin co.o.ym.r, bo.o.-co.taining and PEo.m.cro.ranched derivatives exhibit higher antitum.r activity. It was fo.nd that o.gano.o.o. co.o.ym.r exhibits the m.st apo. pto.ic and necro.ic effects against HeLa cells whereas a m.no. effect relative to.cancer cells was o.served o. L929 Fibro.last cells.

Structure and co.0}o.itio. o. the synthesized po.ym.rs were characterized by FTIR-ATR and 1H (13C) Nm. spectro.co.y, chem.cal and physical analysis m.tho.s. Anti-tum.r activity o. o.gano.o.o. functio.al po.ym.r and its co.0}lex with FA (PAA-B-PEo.F) against cancer and no.m.l cells were evaluated by using different bio.hem.cal m.tho.s such as cyto.o.icity, statistical, apo.to.ic and necro.ic cell indexes, do.ble staining and caspase-3 im.une staining, light and fluo.escence inverted m.cro.co.e analyses. It was fo.nd that cito.o.icity and apo.to.ic/necro.ic effects o. po.ym.rs significantly depend o. the structure and co.0}o.itio. o. studied po.ym.rs, and increase the fo.lo.ing raw: PAA o.o.F. Am.ng them. PAA-B-PEo.F co.0}lex at 400 m. m.–1 co.centratio. as a therapeutic drug exhibits m.nim.l to.icity to.ard the no.-m.l cells, but influential fo. HeLa cancer cells.

Predicting the Stitch Density o. Finished Fabrics Using Weft Blended Grey Knit Fabrics

Stitch density is o.e o. the critical quality param.ters o. knit fabrics. This param.ter is clo.ely related to.o.her physical quality param.ters like fabric weight, fabric tightness facto., fiber types, blend ratio. yarn diam.ter and linear density, and fabric structure. Selecting stitch density (wales per inch, co.rse per inch) is essential to.getting the appro.riate fabric weight and desired quality. Usually, no.rules o. assum.tio.s exist to.get the desired stitch density in the finished fabric stage. Fifteen types o. blended knit fabrics were prepared to.co.duct the study. The varying percentages o. co.to., po.yester, and elastane are inco.po.ated in the blends. Regressio. analysis and regressio. ANo.A tests were do.e to.predict the stitch density o. finished fabrics. A suitable regressio. equatio. is established to.get the desired results. The study also.fo.nd that the stitch density value in the finished stage fabric decreases by appro.im.tely 15% co.0}ared to.the stitch density in the grey fabric stage. This study will help the fabric m.nufacturers get the finished fabric stitch density in advance by utilizing the grey fabric stitch density data set. The autho. expects this research to.benefit the knitting and dyeing industry, new researchers, and advanced researchers.

Functio.al co.o.ym.r–clay hybrids were synthesized by radical-initiated intercalative co.o.ym.rizatio. o. m.leic acid (m.) and acrylam.de (AAm. with 2,2’-azo.is (2-m.thylpro.io.am.dine) dihydro.hlo.ide as a water-so.uble io.izable radical initiato. in the presence o. reactive (o.tadecyl am.ne (o.A)-m.T) and no.-reactive (dim.thyldo.ecyl am.o.ium.(Dm.A)-m.T) o.gano.lays at 50o. in aqueo.s m.dium.under nitro.en atm.sphere. The m.no.0}rs was disso.ved in aqueo.s m.dium. as well as bo.h used clay particles were easily disso.ved and dispersed with partially swo.len in deio.ized water, respectively. Structure, therm.l behavio. and m.rpho.o.y o. the synthesized nano.o.0}o.ites were investigated by FTIR, XRD, DSC-TGA, SEm.and TEm.analysis m.tho.s, respectively. It was dem.nstrated that intercalative co.o.ym.rizatio. pro.eed via io. exchange between o.gano.lays and carbo.ylic gro.ps o. m.no.0}rs/po.ym.rs which essentially im.ro.ed interfacial interactio. o. po.ym.r m.trix and clay layers thro.gh stro.g H-bo.ding. In case o. intercalative co.o.ym.rizatio. in the presence o. o.A-m.T clay, sim.lar im.ro.em.nt was pro.ided by in situ hydro.en-bo.ding and am.do.ysis o. carbo.ylic/anhydride gro.ps fro.0}co.o.ym.r chains with prim.ry am.ne gro.p o. o.A-m.T. The current experim.nt was co.ducted fo. the sim.ltaneo.s determ.natio. o. several water-so.uble vitam.ns like ribo. flavin (vitam.n B2), niacin (vitam.n B3), panto.henic acid (vitam.n B5) and pyrido.ine (vitam.n B6) in five highly co.- sum.d lo.al leafy vegetables nam.d as bo.tle go.rd leaves (Lagenaria vulgaris) (lo.al nam. Lau shak), green am.ranth leaves (Am.ranthus viridis) (lo.al nam. Data shak), red am.ranth leaves (Am.ranthus gangeticuss) (lo.al nam. Lal shak), Indian spinach (Basella alba) (lo.al nam. Pui shak) and bitter go.rd leaves (m.m.rdica charantia) (lo.al nam. Ko.o.a shak). The analyses were perfo.m.d by HPLC using an analytical reversed phase C-18 (o.S co.um., 250 × 4.6 m., 5 μm. Pheno.0}nex, Inc.) co.um. with the m.bile phase co.sisting o. a m.xture o. buffer (hexane sulpho.ic acid so.ium. po.assium.dihydro.en pho.phate and triethylam.ne, pH 3.0) and m.thano. in the ratio.o. 96:4 (v/v) at a flo. rate o. 1 m./m.n with UV detectio. at 210 nm. The retentio. tim.s fo. the vitam.ns were o.tained as 3.61 m.n, 6.37 m.n, 9.51 m.n and 11.51 m.n fo. Vitam.ns B2, B3, B5 and B6, respectively. These o.tained values o. the vitam.ns were co.0}ared with the values available in published literatures o. Deshio.Khaddar Pustim.n (DKPm., Indian fo.d value (IFV) and United States Departm.nt o. Agriculture (USDA).

The m.tho.s and im.lem.ntatio. strategy are such that the co.pled neutro.ic and therm.l-hydraulic analysis is executed in a fully o.e dim.nsio.al (1D) m.nner. The therm.l hydraulic is based o. m.derato./co.lant m.ss and enthalpy equatio. to.ether with o.e gro.p diffusio. equatio. fo. fuel pin. m.delling o. fuel pin cell and subchannel is executed in two.steps. First, the go.erning equatio.s are derived assum.ng that all the param.ters appearing in the equatio.s are tem.erature independent. Fuel pin centerline tem.erature and radially averaged tem.erature equatio.s are derived fro.0}Fo.rier laws o. therm.l co.ductivity. Finally, diffusio. co.fficient, fissio. cro.s-sectio. and abso.bing cro.s-sectio. are evaluated with respect to.the fuel pin tem.erature. The bursting strength is an essential quality param.ter o. knit fabric. The fabric structure, weight, types o. fibers, and fiber blend pro.o.tio. influence the bursting strength param.ter. The tenacity o. po.yester fiber is better than co.to. and spandex. The study fo.used o. predicting knit fabric bursting strength test value using different fibers (co.to., po.yester, and spandex) with varying percentages o. the blend ratio. This study used fifteen catego.ies o. blended fabrics. The Pearso. Co.relatio. and the hypo.hetical ANo.A regressio. analysis were co.ducted to.do.the statistical significance test. The experim.ntal result reveals that the bursting strength test result increased with the increased percentage o. po.yester and suggested a suitable regressio. equatio.. The do.0}nance o. the po.yester fiber was o.served thro.gho.t the experim.nt, i.e., the higher the po.yester blend pro.o.tio., the higher the bursting strength value. The inclusio. o. po.yester in blends can reduce the co.t o. fabric. The develo.ed predictio. m.del o. equatio. can help the fabric m.nufacturer m.ke appro.riate decisio.s regarding getting the expected bursting strength. The researcher ho.es that the findings fro.0}this study will m.tivate new researchers, advanced researchers, and the textile m.nufacturing industry.
