Synbiotic for Prevention of SARS-Cov2 Infection in High Risk Hospital Staffs: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Introduction: COVID-19 pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 increasingly involves people worldwide. Probiotics can improve immune system functions via different mechanisms. We proposed that Synbiotic Lactocare? may also reduce SARS-Cov2 infection in high-risk medical staff working in COVID-19 hospital wards. Method: In a randomized, controlled trial, 60 hospital staff without any history of clinical or laboratory evidence of SARS-Cov2 infection were received either once-daily oral synbiotic capsule (Lactocare?) that contains 1 billion CFU/Cap of L. (Lactobacillus) casei, L. rhamnosus, Streptococcus thermophilus, Bifidobacterium breve, L. acidophilus, Bifidobacterium infantis, L. bulgaricus, and Fructooligosacharide (Zist Takhmir, Tehran, Iran) or placebo with the same appearance for 30 days. They were followed for two months. Result: During the two-month period of this study, SARS-COV-2 RT-PCR test results were positive in three participants (9.67%) in placebo group compared to zero positive tests in synbiotic group. The differences were not statistically significant (p = 0.238). During the study, two persons (7 %) of placebo group had respiratory complaints such as cough, rhinorrhea and/or dyspnea, compared with one in synbiotic group (p = 0.492). Conclusion: This study showed that overall frequency of SARS-COV2 infection in participants receiving synbiotic and those receiving placebo did not differ significantly. Background:Acinetobacter baumannii(***)is known as an opportunistic pathogen related to health-care-associated infection that has a high antibiotic resistance potential,notably against carbapenems that are widely used to combat *** *** study aimed to detect oxacillin-hydrolyzing(OXA)carbapenemases and metallo-β-lactamases(MBL)among carbapenem-resistant *** isolated strains and to determine their clonal relationship by repetitive extragenic palindromic PCR(rep-PCR).Methods:In the present study,a total of 211 non-repetitive isolates of *** were collected from Qazvin educational hospitals(2016–2017).The disk diffusion method was used to investigate the antibiotic susceptibility of studied strains,followed by the detection of MBL and OXA-type genes using polymerase chain reaction(PCR)and sequencing *** rep-PCR method assessed the clonal relationship of carbapenem-non-susceptible *** ***:The obtained results showed that 87.2%and 86.7%of isolates were non-susceptible to imipenem and *** blaOXA-24(93.5%)was the most frequent gene,followed by the blaOXA-23(4.34%),blaIMP-1(1.63%),and blaVIM-1(0.54%).Meanwhile,blaOXA-58 and blaOXA-143 genes were not found.81.5%and 66.1%of isolates contained ISAba1 upstream of the blaOXA-23 and blaOXA-58 genes,***-PCR results revealed the carbapenem non-susceptible isolates belonged to three distinct clones:A 171(81%),B 34(16.1%),and C 6(2.8%).Conclusions:The results indicated a high prevalence of carbapenem-non-susceptible ***,with the emergence of the blaOXA-24 gene as the most common gene and the notable prevalence of MBL *** results revealed the need for appropriate therapeutic and infection control strategies and monitoring susceptibility patterns for controlling *** infections.

Although the Mehdiabad zinc-lead deposit is one of the most well-known deposits in the central Iran structural zone,the genesis of the deposit remains *** host rock of the ore is a dolomitic limestone of the Lower Cretaceous Taft *** the two main orebodies of the deposit,which includes the Black Hill and East Ridge ore zones,the oxide and sulfide ores are observed at the surface and at depth,*** elements Zn,Fe,Mn and Mg are more abundant in the East Ridge ore zone(in both sulfide and oxide ores),with Ba,Pb,Ag and Cu being more abundant in the Black Hill oxide *** on the distribution of elements and their correlation with each other in these ore zones,the elements are divided into three general groups,that of terrigenous elements,chemically-deposited elements and oreforming(hydrothermally deposited)elements,a division that is supported by the results of factor *** spatial distribution of elements is jointly affected by contact with host rocks,the boundary of oxide-sulfide ores and fault *** main factors governing the distribution of elements are the mechanical transfer of detrital sediments,chemical sedimentation,transfer by hydrothermal fluids,oxidation and surface dissolution,all of which affected the spatial distribution of *** ore-forming elements are mostly affected by hydrothermal fluids and *** study not only provides additional information about the genesis of the Mehdiabad deposit,but also could assist in the exploitation of ore and further exploration *** results of this study can aid in the exploration and exploitation of the Mehdiabad deposit and similar deposits in the region.

This paper presents learning-enabled barriercertified safe controllers for systems that operate in a shared environment for which multiple systems with uncertain dynamics and behaviors *** is,safety constraints are imposed by not only the ego system’s own physical limitations but also other systems operating *** the model of the external agent is required to impose control barrier functions(CBFs)as safety constraints,a safety-aware loss function is defined and minimized to learn the uncertain and unknown behavior of external *** specifically,the loss function is defined based on barrier function error,instead of the system model error,and is minimized for both current samples as well as past samples stored in the memory to assure a fast and generalizable learning algorithm for approximating the safe *** proposed model learning and CBF are then integrated together to form a learning-enabled zeroing CBF(L-ZCBF),which employs the approximated trajectory information of the external agents provided by the learned model but shrinks the safety boundary in case of an imminent safety violation using instantaneous sensory *** is shown that the proposed L-ZCBF assures the safety guarantees during learning and even in the face of inaccurate or simplified approximation of external agents,which is crucial in safety-critical applications in highly interactive *** efficacy of the proposed method is examined in a simulation of safe maneuver control of a vehicle in an urban area.

干旱是广泛影响经济和环境的主要自然灾害之一。因此，有必要采用诸如标准化降雨指数（SPI）等指标来研究干旱的影响，以辨析决策和规划的现实条件。本研究的目的是利用SPI指数分析伊朗南部法尔斯省的干旱空间格局。本文根据法尔斯省42个站点的数据，对1990–2019年间的干旱灾害格局进行了评价。评价模型中使用的干旱危害标准包括：该时期的最严重干旱程度、干旱趋势和连续干旱年的最大数量，最终的干旱灾害图是通过计算干旱强度、连续性和趋势三个指标的算术平均值获得的。三个指标的灾害图和最终灾害脆弱图采用反距离加权法（IDW）插值制图，分为无、轻度、中度、重度和极重度5个危害等级。最终的干旱脆弱性图显示，在研究区南部观察到的中度灾害区域占研究区36%，比在北部和中部观察到的严重和非常严重灾害区（占研究区64%）分布范围更小。

Background:The rapid expansion of built-up areas and land consumption with unsustainable spatial patterns in coastal urban areas has become a global major concern due to its far-reaching consequences for human daily life,environmental sustainability,and living ***,the research on this phenomenon in these areas has received less *** fill this gap,we conducted a study to explore the spatial patterns of land consumption at both micro-and macro-levels and to evaluate its consequences in terms of sustainable development in a coastal city-region of Mazandaran Province in northern *** achieve these two goals,we combined two methods of urban land density function and landscape expansion index(LEI)to explore spatial patterns of land consumption and also evaluated the sustainability of the region with two methods of the hierarchical analytical process(AHP)and urban sustainability index(USI).Results:The spatial patterns of land consumption in the city-region of Mazandaran from 1996 to 2016 at the macro-level changed from a decentralized-sprawl to a centralized-sprawl *** the micro-level,the dominant spatial pattern of land consumption in the city-region changed gradually from the outlying pattern towards the edge expansion and infilling ***,the spatial pattern of the built-up patches in the majority of the urban areas had conformity with the dominant pattern of the ***,the spatial patterns of land consumption in the region were in an unsustainable state and were changing towards more *** absence of urban containment policies and plans could lead to further destruction of the natural environment and increase its ***:Our results indicate that the urban areas of the coastal Mazandaran have the same behavior in the spatial pattern of land consumption at the macro-and micro-levels and all are in the same direction and follow the dominant pattern of the region.
