Five-view three-dimensional reconstructionfor ultrafast dynamic imaging of pulsedradiation sources

Multiaxial neutron/x-ray imaging and three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction techniques play a crucial role in gaining valuable insights intothe generation and evolution mechanisms of pulsed radiation sources. Owing to the short emission time (∼200 ns) and drastic changes of thepulsed radiation source, it is necessary to acquire projection data within a few nanoseconds in order to achieve clear computed tomography3D imaging. As a consequence, projection data that can be used for computed tomography image reconstruction at a certain moment are oftenavailable for only a few angles. Traditional algorithms employed in the process of reconstructing 3D images with extremely incomplete datamay introduce significant distortions and artifacts into the final image. In this paper, we propose an iterative image reconstruction methodusing cylindrical harmonic decomposition and a self-supervised denoising network algorithm based on the deep image prior method. Weaugment the prior information with a 2D total variation prior and a 3D deep image prior. Single-wire z-pinch imaging experiments have beencarried out at Qin-1 facility in five views and four frames, with a time resolution of 3 ns for each frame and a time interval of 40 ns betweenadjacent frames. Both numerical simulations and experiments verify that our proposed algorithm can achieve high-quality reconstructionresults and obtain the 3D intensity distribution and evolution of extreme ultraviolet and soft x-ray emission from plasma.

To better understand Mesozoic tectonic transition processes in Eastern China,this paper offers a comparison of Mesozoic basin-fill records around the eastern North China *** Mesozoic basins have similar evolutionary features:inception since the Early Jurassic;basin-fills recording a tectonic evolution from compression and Hthosphenc thickening before Late Jurassic and/or Early Cretaceous time to intracontinental stretching and lithospheric thinning from Early Cretaceous time;tectonic transition during the late Jurassic with a time lag in shallow crust relative to deep ***,basin-fill records reflect two distinct basin systems occurring in the southern and northern margins of the eastern North China Craton. First,varied volcanic rocks including mafic,intermediate-mafic and intermediate-felsic assemblages occur in the Yanshan-liaoxi basins on the northern margin of the eastern North China Craton from the Early Jurassic to Cretaceous;in contrast,limited calc-alkaline volcanic rocks filled the Hefei basin system on the southern margin of the eastern North China Craton during the Late Jurassic-Early ***,late Mesozoic lithospheric thinning began at about 163 Ma and 149 Ma in the northern and southern margins,respectively,culminating in basinscale extensional events at about 145 Ma and 132 Ma,***,coarse clastic sediments developed in the northern and southern basins during the tectonic transition phase reflect fluvial and alluvial systems,respectively,indicating greater topographic relief in the southern area than in the northern ***,Mesozoic depocentre migration was complicated in the Yanshan-liaoxi basin but should a south to north trend,in the Hefei basin *** basin-fill oppositional and volcanic records in the southern margin of the eastern North China Craton were dominantly controlled by early Mesozoic deep subduction of the Yangtze block and subsequent post-orogenic extension of the Dabie Mountai

Sourcing the merits of 3D integrated air cathodes for highperformance zn-air batteries by bubble pump consumption chronoamperometry

zn-air batteries(zABs)as a potential energy conversion system suffer from low power density(typically≤200 mW·cm^(−2)).Recently,three-dimensional(3D)integrated air cathodes have demonstrated promising performance over traditional twodimensional(2D)plane ones,which is ascribed to enriched active sites and enhanced diffusion,but without experimental ***,we applied a bubble pump consumption chronoamperometry(BPCC)method to quantitatively identify the gas diffusion coefficient(D)and effective catalytic sites density(ρEC)of the integrated air cathodes for ***,the D andρEC values can instruct consequent optimization on the growth of Co embedded N-doped carbon nanotubes(CoNCNTs)on carbon fiber paper(CFP)and aerophilicity tuning,giving 4 times D and 1.3 timesρEC over the conventional 2D Pt/C-CFP *** a result,using the CoNCNTs with half-wave potential of merely 0.78 V ***(Pt/C:0.89 V ***),the superaerophilic CoNCNTs-CFP cathode-based zABs exhibited a superior peak power density of 245 mW·cm^(−2) over traditional 2D Pt/C-CFP counterparts,breaking the threshold of 200 mW·cm^(−2).This work reveals the intrinsic feature of the 3D integrated air cathodes by yielding exact D andρEC values,and demonstrates the feasibility of BPCC method for the optimization of integrated electrodes,bypassing trial-and-error strategy.

Formation of Superthin Galaxies in IllustrisTNG

Superthin galaxies are observed to have stellar disks with extremely small minor-to-major axis ratios. In this work,we investigate the formation of superthin galaxies in the TNG100 simulation. We trace the merger history and investigate the evolution of galaxy properties of a selected sample of superthin galaxies and a control sample of galaxies that share the same joint probability distribution in the stellar-mass and color diagram. Through making comparisons between the two galaxy samples, we find that present-day superthin galaxies had similar morphologies as the control sample counterparts at higher redshifts, but have developed extended flat “superthin”morphologies since z ～ 1. During this latter evolution stage, superthin galaxies undergo an overwhelmingly higher frequency of prograde mergers(with orbit-spin angle θorb≤ 40°). Accordingly the spins of their dark matter halos have grown significantly and become noticeably higher than those of their normal disk counterparts. This further results in the buildup of their stellar disks at larger distances much beyond the regimes of normal disk galaxies. We also discuss the formation scenario of those superthin galaxies that live in larger dark matter halos as satellite galaxies therein.

Tracking the dynamic surface evolution of metal halide perovskite is crucial for understanding the corresponding fundamental principles of photoelectric properties and intrinsic instability. However, due to the volatility elements and soft lattice nature of perovskites, several important dynamic behaviors remain unclear. Here, an ultra-high vacuum（UHV） interconnection system integrated by surface-sensitive probing techniques has been developed to investigate the freshly cleaved surface of CH3NH3PbBr3in situ under given energy stimulation. On this basis, the detailed three-step chemical decomposition pathway of perovskites has been clarified. Meanwhile, the evolution of crystal structure from cubic phase to tetragonal phase on the perovskite surface has been revealed under energy stimulation. Accompanied by chemical composition and crystal structure evolution, electronic structure changes including energy level position,hole effective mass, and Rashba splitting have also been accurately determined. These findings provide a clear perspective on the physical origin of optoelectronic properties and the decomposition mechanism of perovskites.

Context‑dependent antioxidant defense system(ADS)‑based stress memory in response to recurrent environmental challenges in congeneric invasive species

Marine ecosystems are facing escalating environmental fluctuations owing to climate change and human activities,imposing pressures on marine *** withstand recurring environmental challenges,marine organisms,especially benthic species lacking behavioral choices to select optimal habitats,have to utilize well-established strategies such as the antioxidant defense system(ADS)to ensure their ***,understanding of the mechanisms governing the ADS-based response is essential for gaining insights into adaptive strategies for managing environmental *** we conducted a com-parative analysis of the physiological and transcriptional responses based on the ADS during two rounds of'hypersalinity-recovery'challenges in two model congeneric invasive ascidians,Ciona robusta and *** results demonstrated that *** exhibited higher tolerance and resistance to salinity stresses at the physiological level,while *** demonstrated heightened responses at the transcriptional *** observed distinct transcriptional responses,particularly in the utilization of two superoxide dismutase(SOD)*** Ciona species developed physiological stress memory with elevated total SOD(T-SOD)and glutathione(GSH)responses,while only *** demonstrated transcriptional stress *** regulatory distinctions within the Nrf2-Keap1 signalling pathway likely explain the formation disparity of transcriptional stress memory between both Ciona *** findings support the'context-dependent stress memory hypothesis',emphasizing the emergence of species-specific stress memory at diverse regulatory levels in response to recurrent environmental *** results enhance our understanding of the mechanisms of environmental challenge manage-ment in marine species,particularly those related to the ADS.

Photothermal ethanol steam reforming(ESR) is currently limited by low intrinsic activity and strong solar energy ***,we synthesized Fe single atoms supported on CeO_(2)(SA Fe-CeO_(2)) to exhibit excellent low-temperature ESR activity with a hydrogen production rate of 512 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1) at 350℃,becuase of the high oxidation state of Fe single atoms to weaken the reaction barrier of ethanol ***,a heterostructure of SA Fe-CeO_(2) and Ti foil could eliminate 66% of infrared radiation via the size effect,thus achieving a 3.5 sun-driven temperature of 347℃.Consequently,the heterostructure of SA Fe-CeO_(2) and Ti foil shows a hydrogen generation rate of 984 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1) of ESR and 11.31% of solar-to-hydrogen energy conversion efficiency,which outperforms other photothermal ethanol-hydrogen production *** study provides a new path for designing active catalytic sites and trapping light energy of photothermal catalysts.

Molecular packing tuning via chlorinated end group enables efficient binary organic solar cells over 18.5%

Designing novel nonfullerene acceptors(NFAs)is of vital importance for the development of organic solar cells(OSC).Modification on the side chain and end group are two powerful tools to construct efficient ***,based on the high-performance L8BO,we selected 3-ethylheptyl to substitute the inner chain of 2-ethylhexyl,obtaining the backbone of *** we introduced different halogen atoms of fluorine and chlorine on 2-(3-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1Hinden-1-ylidene)malononitrile end group(EG)to construct efficient NFAs named BON3-F and BON3-Cl,*** donor D18 was chosen to combine with two novel NFAs to construct OSC ***,D18:BON3-Cl-based device shows a remarkable power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 18.57%,with a high open-circuit voltage(V_(OC))of 0.907 V and an excellent fill factor(FF)of 80.44%,which is one of the highest binary PCE of devices based on D18 as the ***,BON3-F-based device shows a relatively lower PCE of 17.79%with a decreased FF of 79.05%.The better photovoltaic performance is mainly attributed to the red-shifted absorption,higher electron and hole mobilities,reduced charge recombination,and enhanced molecular packing in the D18:BON3-Cl ***,we performed stability tests on two binary systems;the D18:BON3-Cl and D18:BON3-F devices maintain 88.1%and 85.5%of their initial efficiencies after 169 h of storage at 85°C in an N2-filled glove box,*** work demonstrates the importance of selecting halogen atoms on EG and provides an efficient binary system of D18:BON3-Cl for further improvement of PCE.

We investigate the uniqueness problems of meromorphic functions and their difference operators by using a new *** is proved that if a non-constant meromorphic function f shares a non-zero constant and ∞ counting multiplicities with its difference operators Δcf(z) and Δ_(c)^(2)f(z), thenΔcf(z)≡Δ_(c)^(2)f(z).In particular,we give a difference analogue of a result of *** method has two distinct features:(ⅰ) It converts the relations between functions into the corresponding *** makes it possible to deal with the uniqueness problem by linear algebra and combinatorics.(ⅱ) It circumvents the obstacle of the difference logarithmic derivative lemma for meromorphic functions of infinite order,since this method does not depend on the growth of the ***,the idea in this paper can also be applied to the case for several variables.

Monogamy and polygamy for the generalized W-class states using unified-(q,s)entropy

We describe the entanglement distribution and restricted shareability of the multipartite generalized W-class states and their reduced density matrix under arbitrary partitions by using monogamy and polygamy relation based on the unified-(q,s)***,we provide an analytical formula of unified-(q,s)entanglement(UE)and an analytical lower bound of unified-(q,s)entanglement of assistance(UEo A)for a reduced density matrix of a generalized W-class ***,we use these two analytical formulas to derive the monogamy and polygamy inequalities for a reduced density matrix of a qudit generalized W-class(GW)*** establish two partition-dependent residual entanglements based on the new monogamy relation,which is helpful to obtain a comprehensive analysis of entanglement dynamics of generalized W-class ***,we investigate tighter monogamy and polygamy relations based on the power ofαth(α≥0)for UE andβth(β≥0)for UEo A,*** results show that the entanglement distribution characteristics of generalized W-class states satisfying stronger constraints can be described more accurately.
