The ^(12)c+^(12)c fusion reaction was studied in the range of E_(c.m.)=8.9 to 21 MeV using the active-target Time Projection *** full information on all tracks of the reaction products,cross sections of the^(12)c(^(12)c,^(8)Be)^(16)O_(g.s.)channel and the ^(12)c(^(12)c,3a)^(12)c channel could be measured down to the level of a few *** ^(12)c(^(12)c,^(8)Be)^(16)O_(g.s.)reaction channel was determined to be 10_(-8)^(+24) mb at E_(c.m.)=11.1 MeV,supporting the direct a transfer reaction *** ^(12)c(^(12)c,3α)^(12)c reaction channel was studied for the first time using an exclusive *** result does not confirm the anomaly behavior reported in the previous inclusive measurement by Kolata et al.[***.c 21,579(1980)].Our comparisons with statistical model calculations suggest that the 3 a channel is dominated by the fusion evaporation process at E_(c.m.)>19 *** additional contribution of the 3 a channel increases the fusion reaction cross section by 10% at energies above 20 *** also find that an additional reaction mechanism is needed to explain the measured cross section at E_(c.m.)ch point the statistical model prediction vanishes.

Integrating multi-scale sites in a composite catalyst is vital to realize efficient ***,a synergistic composite catalyst consisting of co atomic sites and in-situ generated Ptco intermetallic compounds （IMcs）(o-Ptco@coNc) is proposed through co pre-anchoring and subsequent impregnation-reduction *** loading of co atoms provides a chance for in-situ generating Ptco ordered intermetallic *** remaining co single atoms and Ptco IMcs construct synergistic electrocatalytic *** from the ordered structure,synergistic effect of Pt co IMcs and co single atoms,o-Ptco@coNc exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance for oxygen reduction reaction （ORR） and hydrogen evolution reaction （HER） with mass activity of 1.21 A mgPt-1（at 0.9 V） and5.70 A mgPt-1（at an overpotential of 100 mV）,***,o-Ptco@coNc delivers negligible loss of half-wave potential and overpotential during long-term stability test in acid solutions,with 13 mV decay after 50,000 potential cycles for ORR and a 2.7 mV decay after 20,000 potential cycles for *** integration strategy of single-atomic sites coupled IMcs paves the way for enhancing the activity and durability of Pt-based electrocatalysts.

Axonal regeneration following surgical nerve repair is slow and often incomplete,resulting in poor functional recovery which sometimes contributes to lifelong ***,there are no FDA-approved therapies available to promote nerve *** accelerates axonal regeneration,but systemic side effects presently outweigh its potential benefits for peripheral nerve *** authors describe herein a biodegradable polyurethane-based drug delivery system for the sustained local release of tacrolimus at the nerve repair site,with suitable properties for scalable production and clinical application,aiming to promote nerve regeneration and functional recovery with minimal systemic drug *** is encapsulated into co-axially electrospun polycarbonate-urethane nanofibers to generate an implantable nerve wrap that releases therapeutic doses of bioactive tacrolimus over 31 *** and drug loading are adjustable for applications in small and large caliber nerves,and the wrap degrades within 120 days into biocompatible *** released from the nerve wrap promotes axon elongation in vitro and accelerates nerve regeneration and functional recovery in preclinical nerve repair models while off-target systemic drug exposure is reduced by 80%compared with systemic *** its surgical suitability and preclinical efficacy and safety,this system may provide a readily translatable approach to support axonal regeneration and recovery in patients undergoing nerve surgery.

Lithium-sulfur （Li-S） batteries are widely deemed to be one of the most potential candidates for future secondary batteries because of their remarkable energy ***,notorious polysulfide shuttling and retarded sulfur reaction kinetics pose significant obstacles to the further application of Li-S *** rationally designed highly active electrocatalysts can facilitate polysulfide conversion,the universal and scalable synthesis strategies need to be ***,a universal synthetic strategy to construct a series of three-dimensional （3D） porous graphene-iron （3DGr-Fe） based electrocatalysts involving 3DGr-FeP,3DGr-Fe3c,and 3DGr-Fe3Se4is exploited for manipulating the Li-S redox *** has been observed that the implementation of a 3D porous Gr architecture leads to the well-designed conductive networks,while the uniformly dispersed iron nanoparticles introduce an abundance of active sites,fostering the lithium polysulfide conversion,thereby bolstering the overall electrochemical *** Li-S battery with the 3DGr-Fe based electrocatalyst exhibits remarkable capacity retention of 94.8%upon 100 times at 0.2 ***,the soft-packaged Li-S pouch cell based on such a 3DGr-Fe electrocatalyst delivers superior capacity of 1060.71 mA h g-1and guarantees for the continuous 30 min work of fan *** investigation gives comprehensive insights into the design,synthesis,and mechanism of 3DGr-Fe based electrocatalysts with high activity toward efficient and durable Li-S batteries.

Background:Aberrant expression of RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) has been linked to a variety of diseases, including hematological disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and multiple types of cancer. Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein c (HNRNPc), a member belonging to the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) family, plays a pivotal role in nucleic acid metabolism. Previous studies have underscored the significance of HNRNPc in tumorigenesis; however, its specific role in malignant tumor progression remains inadequately characterized.Methods:We leveraged publicly available databases, including The cancer Genome Atlas (TcGA), to explore the potential involvement of HNRNPc across various cancers. Additionally, we performed experimental validation studies focused on liver cancer.Results:Our analysis revealed that HNRNPc is overexpressed in a wide range of common malignancies, including liver and lung cancers, and is strongly linked to unfavorable outcomes. Furthermore, HNRNPc was observed to be closely linked to tumor immunity. Through immune checkpoint analysis and immune cell infiltration assessment, HNRNPc emerged as a potential target for modulating tumor immunotherapy. Notably, silencing of HNRNPc markedly inhibited the proliferation, metastasis, and infiltration of liver cancer cells.conclusion:In summary, our findings highlight HNRNPc as a prognostic marker in various cancers, including liver cancer, and suggest its involvement in shaping the tumor immune microenvironment. These insights offer potential avenues for improving clinical outcomes in tumors with elevated HNRNPc expression, particularly through immunotherapeutic strategies.

catalyst–support interaction plays a crucial role in improving the catalytic activity of oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Here we modulate the catalyst–support interaction in polyaniline-supported Ni_(3)Fe oxide(Ni_(3)Fe oxide/PANI)with a robust hetero-interface,which significantly improves oxygen evolution activities with an overpotential of 270 mV at 10 mA cm^(-2)and specific activity of 2.08 mA cm_(EcSA)^(-2)at overpotential of 300 mV,3.84-fold that of Ni_(3)Fe *** is revealed that the catalyst–support interaction between Ni_(3)Fe oxide and PANI support enhances the Ni–O covalency via the interfacial Ni–N bond,thus promoting the charge and mass transfer on Ni_(3)Fe *** the excellent activity and stability,rechargeable zn-air batteries with optimum Ni_(3)Fe oxide/PANI are assembled,delivering a low charge voltage of 1.95 V to cycle for 400 h at 10 mA cm^(-2).The regulation of the effect of catalyst–support interaction on catalytic activity provides new possibilities for the future design of highly efficient OER catalysts.

Uneven power distribution,transient voltage,and frequency deviations are observed in the photovoltaic storage hybrid inverter during the switching between grid-connected and island *** response to these issues,this paper proposes a grid-connected/island switching control strategy for photovoltaic storage hybrid inverters based on the modified chimpanzee optimization *** proposed strategy incorporates coupling compensation and power differentiation elements based on the traditional droop ***,it combines the angular frequency and voltage amplitude adjustments provided by the phase-locked loop-free pre-synchronization control *** pre-synchronization is achieved by regulating the virtual current to zero and aligning the photovoltaic storage hybrid inverter with the grid ***,two novel operators,learning and emotional behaviors are introduced to enhance the optimization precision of the chimpanzee *** operators ensure high-precision and high-reliability optimization of the droop control parameters for photovoltaic storage hybrid inverters.A Simulink model was constructed for simulation analysis,which validated the optimized control strategy’s ability to evenly distribute power under load *** strategy effectively mitigated transient voltage and current surges during mode ***,seamless and efficient switching between gridconnected and island modes was achieved for the photovoltaic storage hybrid *** enhanced energy utilization efficiency,in turn,offers robust technical support for grid stability.

The risk of flammability is an unavoidable issue for gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs).Usually,flameretardant solvents are necessary to be used,but most of them would react with anode/cathode easily and cause serious interfacial instability,which is a big challenge for design and application of nonflammable ***,a nonflammable GPE(SGPE)is developed by in situ polymerizing trifluoroethyl methacrylate(TFMA)monomers with flame-retardant triethyl phosphate(TEP)solvents and LiTFSI–LiDFOB dual lithium *** is strongly anchored to PTFMA matrix via polarity interaction between-P=O and-cH_(2)cF_(3).It reduces free TEP molecules,which obviously mitigates interfacial reactions,and enhances flame-retardant performance of TEP *** TEP molecules are also inhibited in solvation of Li^(+),leading to anion-dominated solvation sheath,which creates inorganic-rich solid electrolyte interface/cathode electrolyte interface *** coordination structure changes Li^(+)transport from sluggish vehicular to fast structural transport,raising ionic conductivity to 1.03 mS cm^(-1) and transfer number to 0.41 at 30℃.The Li|SGPE|Li cell presents highly reversible Li stripping/plating performance for over 1000 h at 0.1 mA cm^(−2),and 4.2 V LicoO_(2)|SGPE|Li battery delivers high average specific capacity>120 mAh g^(−1) over 200 *** study paves a new way to make nonflammable GPE that is compatible with Li metal anode.

Developing advanced stealth devices to cope with radar-infrared(IR)fusion detection and diverse application scenarios is increasingly demanded,which faces significant challenges due to conflicting microwave and IR cloaking mechanisms and functional integration ***,we propose a multiscale hierarchical structure design,integrating wrinkled MXene IR shielding layer and flexible Fe_(3)O_(4)@c/PDMS microwave absorption *** top wrinkled MXene layer induces the intensive diffuse reflection effect,shielding IR radiation signals while allowing microwave to pass ***,the permeable microwaves are assimilated into the bottom Fe_(3)O_(4)@c/PDMS layer via strong magneto-electric *** theoretical and experimental optimization,the assembled stealth devices realize a near-perfect stealth capability in both X-band(8–12 GHz)and long-wave infrared(8–14μm)wavelength ***,it delivers a radar cross-section reduction of−20 dB m^(2),a large apparent temperature modulation range(ΔT=70℃),and a low average IR emissivity of ***,the optimal device demonstrates exceptional curved surface conformability,self-cleaning capability(contact angle≈129°),and abrasion resistance(recovery time≈5 s).This design strategy promotes the development of multispectral stealth technology and reinforces its applicability and durability in complex and hostile environments.
