Hierarchical Spinning of Janus Textiles with Anisotropic Wettability for Wound Healing

Wound healing and tissue repair are recognized as basic human health problems *** to accelerate the reparative process are focused on developing functional wound ***,we present novel Janus textiles with anisotropic wettability from hierarchical microfluidic spinning for wound *** hydrophilic hydrogel microfibers from microfluidics are woven into textiles for freeze-drying treatment,followed by the deposition of electrostatic spinning nanofibers composed of hydrophobic polylactic acid(PLA)and silver *** electrospun nanofiber layer can be well coupled with the hydrogel microfiber layer to generate Janus textiles with anisotropic wettability due to the roughness of the hydrogel textile surface and the incomplete evaporation of PLA solution when reaching the *** wound treatment with the hydrophobic PLA side contacting the wound surface,the wound exudate can be pumped from the hydrophobic to the hydrophilic side based on the wettability differential derived drainage *** this process,the hydrophobic side of the Janus textile can prevent excess fluid from infiltrating the wound again,preventing excessive moisture and preserving the breathability of the *** addition,the silver nanoparticles contained in the hydrophobic nanofibers could impart the textiles with good antibacterial effect,which further promote the wound healing *** features indicate that the described Janus fiber textile has great application potential in the field of wound treatment.

For bipartite angle consensus tracking and vibration suppression of multiple Timoshenko manipulator systems with time-varying actuator faults,parameter and modeling uncertainties,and unknown disturbances,a novel distributed boundary event-triggered control strategy is proposed in this *** contrast to the earlier findings,time-varying consensus tracking and actuator defects are taken into account *** addition,the constructed event-triggered control mechanism can achieve a more flexible design because it is not required to satisfy the input-to-state *** achieve the control objectives,some new integral control variables are given by using back-stepping technique and boundary ***,adaptive neural networks are applied to estimate system *** the proposed event-triggered scheme,control inputs can reduce unnecessary ***,tracking errors and vibration states of the closed-looped network can be exponentially convergent into some small fields,and zeno behaviors can be *** last,some simulation examples are given to state the effectiveness of the control algorithms.

A multi-agent collaboration scheme for energy-efficient task scheduling in a 3D UAV-MEC space

Multi-access edge computing(MEC)presents computing services at the edge of networks to address the enormous processing requirements of intelligent *** to the maneuverability of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs),they can be used as temporal aerial edge nodes for providing edge services to ground users in ***,MEC environment is usually dynamic and *** is a challenge for multiple UAVs to select appropriate service ***,most of existing works study UAV-MEC with the assumption that the flight heights of UAVs are fixed;i.e.,the flying is considered to occur with reference to a two-dimensional plane,which neglects the importance of the *** this paper,with consideration of the co-channel interference,an optimization problem of energy efficiency is investigated to maximize the number of fulfilled tasks,where multiple UAVs in a threedimensional space collaboratively fulfill the task computation of ground *** the formulated problem,we try to obtain the optimal flight and sub-channel selection strategies for UAVs and schedule strategies for *** on the multi-agent deep deterministic policy gradient(MADDPG)algorithm,we propose a curiosity-driven and twin-networks-structured MADDPG(CTMADDPG)algorithm to solve the formulated *** uses the inner reward to facilitate the state exploration of agents,avoiding convergence at the sub-optimal ***,we adopt the twin critic networks for update stabilization to reduce the probability of Q value *** simulation results show that CTMADDPG is outstanding in maximizing the energy efficiency of the whole system and outperforms the other benchmarks.

Four Late-type Galaxies with Double Radio Lobes and Properties of Such Galaxies

The triggering mechanism for radio lobes from late-type galaxies is not fully *** samples are desired for a thorough investigation and *** utilizing the optical data from the newly released Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument imaging surveys and the radio sources from the NRAO VLA Sky Survey and the Faint Images of the Radio Sky at Twenty-centimeter,we identify four Late-type Galaxies with double Radio Lobes(La GRLs):J0217-3645,J0947+6220,J1412+3723 and J1736+*** previously known La GRLs,we confirm the correlation between radio power P_(1.4GHz)and stellar mass M_(*)of host ***(25/35)La GRLs belong to the blue cloud galaxies,while the newly identified cases in this work are located within the region of the red *** find a clear correlation between the differential radio power,i.e.,the offset from the P_(1.4GHz)-M_(*)relation,and the galaxy color,indicating that bluer galaxies at a fixed M_(*)tend to host more powerful radio ***,the majority(31/36)of La GRLs are either located in a galaxy group or displaying a disturbed *** suggest that all of the galaxy mass,color and surrounding environment could play important roles in triggering radio lobes in late-type galaxies.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Integrated Responsive Microneedles for Systemic Sclerosis Treatment

Traditional Chinese medicine,such as Tripterygium wilfordii and Paeonia lactiflora,has potential values in treating systemic sclerosis(SSc)and other autoimmune diseases,while their toxic side effect elimination and precise tropical drug delivery are still ***,we present multiple traditional Chinese medicine integrated photoresponsive black phosphorus(bP)microneedles(MNs)with the desired features for the SSc *** employing a template-assisted layer-by-layer curing method,such MNs with triptolide(TP)/paeoniflorin(Pae)needle tips and bP-hydrogel needle bottoms could be well *** combined administration of TP and Pae can not only provide anti-inflammatory,detoxification,and immunomodulatory effects to treat skin lesions in the early stage of SSc but also remarkably reduce the toxicity of single drug ***,the additive bPs possess good biocompatibility and near-infrared(NIR)responsiveness,imparting the MN photothermal-controlled drug release *** on these features,we have demonstrated that the traditional Chinese medicine integrated responsive MNs could effectively improve skin fibrosis and telangiectasia,reduce collagen deposition,and reduce epidermal thickness in the SSc mouse *** results indicated that the proposed Chinese medicine integrated responsive MNs had enormous potential in clinical therapy of SSc and other diseases.

Next generation power system needs dielectrics with increased dielectric energy ***,the low energy density of dielectrics limits their ***,an asymmetric trilayered nanocomposite,with a transition layer(TL),an insulation layer(IL),and a polarization layer(PL),is designed based on poly(vinylidene fluoride)-polymethyl methacrylate(PVDF-PMMA)matrix using KNbO_(3)(KN)and TiO_(2)(TO)as the *** morphology and defect control of the two-dimensional nano KN and nano TO fillers are realized via a hydrothermal method to increase the composite breakdown strength(E_(b))and the composite energy density(U_(e)).The asymmetric trilayered structure leads to a gradient electric field distribution,and the KN and TO nanosheets block charges transfer along z *** a result,the development path of the electrical trees is greatly curved,and E_(b) is effectively *** the Ue value of the nanocomposites reaches 17.79 J·cm^(-3) at 523 MV·m^(-1).On the basis,the composite Ue is further improved by defect control in TO *** nanocomposite KN/TO/PVDF-PMMA containing TO with less oxygen vacancy concentration(calcined at oxygen atmosphere)acquires a high Ue of 21.61 J·cm^(-3) at 548 MV·m^(-1).This study provides an idea for improving the energy storage performance by combining the design of the composite dielectric structure and the control of nanofillers’defect and morphology.
