Along with the improvement of social productivity and living standard,residential buildings generate a growing portion of carbon emissions,especially during the operation ***,energy use behaviors are usually ignored in carbon emission *** study focuses on calculating carbon emissions during the operation stage for residential buildings based on the characteristics of energy use behaviors in different ***,we investigated energy use behaviors in dwellings across three cities in China:Xi'an,Shanghai and ***,we established calibrated carbon emission models and optimization models with different green building measures for residential *** results of this research reveal a significant disparity between the energy usage habits of residents in different climate *** carbon emissions of residential electricity bills in Xi'an,Shanghai and Fuzhou are 13.6 kgCO_(2)/(m^(2)·a)(excluding central heating),29.3 kgCO_(2)/(m^(2)·a)and 17.2 kgCO_(2)/(m^(2)·a),*** carbon emissions account for 32.2%-64.1% of the *** comparison to the model based on internal standard setting,the accuracy of the models using actual internal has improved by 25.9%-37.4%.The three-star green building methods have the highest carbon reduction rate among different star buildings,the emission reduction rates are around 30%.This study's findings are useful for carbon emission calculation and green building design of residential buildings in the future.

A modified small perturbation stability prediction model for axial compressors with circumferential inlet distortions is established and applied to investigate the effect of fore/aft-loaded rotor on compressor stability under circumferentially distorted inlet *** inlet total pressure distribution downstream of the distortion screen is measured in experiments and employed for simulations which are implemented via time-space spectral *** stall inception prediction results via the stability model indicate that the compressor with aft-loaded rotor not only performs better in terms of stability under uniform inlet,but also maintains a larger stability margin under circumferentially distorted *** experiments for compressors with fore-loaded and aft-loaded rotor are respectively carried *** results validate the reliability of numerical simulations and the predicted conclusion that the aft-loaded rotor is beneficial for compressor ***,the ability of the developed theoretical model for compressor stability prediction under circumferential distortions is *** addition,dynamic pressure signals at rotor tip measured in experiments illustrate that the circumferential distortion has little effect on the compressor stall pattern.

Real-world passive radiative cooling requires highly emissive,selective,and omnidirectional thermal emitters to maintain the radiative cooler at a certain temperature below the ambient temperature while maximizing the net cooling *** various selective thermal emitters have been demonstrated,it is still challenging to achieve these conditions sim-ultaneously because of the extreme difficulty in controlling thermal emission of photonic structures in *** we demonstrated hybrid polar dielectric metasurface thermal emitters with machine learning inverse design,en-abling a high emissivity of~0.92 within the atmospheric transparency window 8-13μm,a large spectral selectivity of~1.8 and a wide emission angle up to 80 degrees,*** selective and omnidirectional thermal emitter has led to a new record of temperature reduction as large as~15.4°C under strong solar irradiation of~800 W/m2,signific-antly surpassing the state-of-the-art *** designed structures also show great potential in tackling the urban heat island effect,with modelling results suggesting a large energy saving and deployment area *** research will make significant impact on passive radiative cooling,thermal energy photonics and tackling global climate change.

Swarming behaviors play an eminent role in both biological and engineering research, and show great potential applications in many emerging fields. Traditional swarming models still lack integrity, uniformity, and stability in swarm forming processes,resulting in fragmentation and void phenomena. Inspired by the shepherding behaviors observed in nature, we propose an integrated negotiation-control scheme for distributed swarm control of massive robots. The core idea of this scheme is that the robots at the boundary of the group herd the internal robots to form an equilibrium swarm. For this purpose, we introduce a concept of virtual group center towards which boundary robots herd internal robots. Then, a distributed negotiation mechanism is designed to allow each robot to negotiate the virtual group center only through local interactions with its neighbors. After that, we propose a shepherding-inspired swarm control law to drive a group of robots to form an integrated, uniform, and stable configuration from any initial states. Both numerical and flight simulations are presented to verify the effectiveness of our proposed swarm control scheme.

With the rapid development of 5G information technology,thermal conductivity/dissipation problems of highly integrated electronic devices and electrical equipment are becoming *** this work,“high-temperature solid-phase&diazonium salt decomposition”method is carried out to prepare benzidine-functionalized boron nitride(m-BN).Subsequently,m-BN/poly(pphenylene benzobisoxazole)nanofiber(PNF)nanocomposite paper with nacremimetic layered structures is prepared via sol–gel film transformation *** obtained m-BN/PNF nanocomposite paper with 50 wt%m-BN presents excellent thermal conductivity,incredible electrical insulation,outstanding mechanical properties and thermal stability,due to the construction of extensive hydrogen bonds andπ–πinteractions between m-BN and PNF,and stable nacre-mimetic layered ***λ∥andλ_(⊥)are 9.68 and 0.84 W m^(-1)K^(-1),and the volume resistivity and breakdown strength are as high as 2.3×10^(15)Ωcm and 324.2 kV mm^(-1),***,it also presents extremely high tensile strength of 193.6 mPa and thermal decomposition temperature of 640°C,showing a broad application prospect in high-end thermal management fields such as electronic devices and electrical equipment.

Background:Somatic copy number variations(SCNVs)in the CDKN2A gene are among the most frequent events in the dysplasia-carcinoma sequence of esophageal squamous cell ***,whether CDKN2A SCNVs are useful biomarkers for the risk stratification and management of patients with esophageal squamous cell dysplasia(ESCdys)is *** study aimed to investigate the characteristics and prognostic value of CDKN2A SCNVs in patients with mild or moderate(m/m)***:This study conducted a prospective multicenter study of 205 patients with a baseline diagnosis of m/m ESCdys in five high-risk regions of China(Ci County,Hebei Province;Yanting,Sichuan Province;Linzhou,Henan Province;Yangzhong,Jiangsu Province;and Feicheng,Shandong Province)from 2005 to *** DNA was extracted from paraffin biopsy samples and paired peripheral white blood cells from patients,and a quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay,P16-Light,was used to detect CDKN2A copy *** cumulative regression and progression rates of ESCdys were evaluated using competing risk ***:A total of 205 patients with baseline m/m ESCdys were *** proportion of ESCdys regression was significantly lower in the CDKN2A deletion cohort than in the diploid and amplification cohorts(18.8%[13/69]vs.35.0%[28/80]vs.51.8%[29/56],Pmpeting risk analysis,the cumulative regression rate was statistically significantly lower(P=0.008),while the cumulative progression rate was higher(P=0.017)in ESCdys patients with CDKN2A deletion than in those without CDKN2A ***2A deletion was also an independent predictor of prognosis in ESCdys(P=0.004)in the multivariable ***:The results indicated that CDKN2A SCNVs are associated with the prognosis of ESCdys and may serve as potential biomarkers for risk stratification.

Turbo-shaft engine adaptive neural network control based on nonlinear state space equation

Intelligent Adaptive Control(AC) has remarkable advantages in the control system design of aero-engine which has strong nonlinearity and uncertainty. Inspired by the Nonlinear Autoregressive moving Average(NARmA)-L2 adaptive control, a novel Nonlinear State Space Equation(NSSE) based Adaptive neural network Control(NSSE-AC) method is proposed for the turbo-shaft engine control system design. The proposed NSSE model is derived from a special neural network with an extra layer, and the rotor speed of the gas turbine is taken as the main state variable which makes the NSSE model be able to capture the system dynamic better than the NARmA-L2 model. A hybrid Recursive Least-Square and Levenberg-marquardt(RLS-Lm) algorithm is advanced to perform the online learning of the neural network, which further enhances both the accuracy of the NSSE model and the performance of the adaptive controller. The feedback correction is also utilized in the NSSE-AC system to eliminate the steady-state tracking error. Simulation results show that, compared with the NARmA-L2 model, the NSSE model of the turboshaft engine is more accurate. The maximum modeling error is decreased from 5.92% to 0.97%when the Lm algorithm is introduced to optimize the neural network parameters. The NSSE-AC method can not only achieve a better main control loop performance than the traditional controller but also limit all the constraint parameters efficiently with quick and accurate switching responses even if component degradation exists. Thus, the effectiveness of the NSSE-AC method is validated.
