The decoloriz.tion of Direct Black 22 by.Aspergillus ficuum has been studied. It was found that Aspergillus ficuum could effectively.decoloriz. Direct Black 22 especially.when grown as pelleted my.elia. Results showed that the media containing Direct Black 22 at 50 mg/L could be decoloriz.d by.98.05% of the initial color in 24 h. The optimum pH and temperature of decoloriz.tion are 4.0 and 33 °C respectively. Aeration was quite beneficial to decoloriz.tion. Medium composition and the concentration of Direct Black 22 could affect the rate of decoloriz.tion. The dy. degraded products assay.d by.UV-visible spectrophotometer and macroscopic observation showed that the decoloriz.tion of Direct Black 22 by.my.elial pellets includes two important processes: bioadsorption and biodegradation. The degradation experiment agree with the Michaelis-Menten kinetics equation.

Finite element simulations are carried out to examine the mechanical behavior of the metallic hollow sphere （MHS） material during their large plastic deformation and to estimate the energy.absorbing capacity.of these materials under uniaxial compression. A simplified model is proposed from experimental observations to describe the connection between the neighboring spheres, which greatly.improves the computation efficiency. The effects of the governing phy.ical and geometrical parameters are evaluated; whilst a special attention is paid to the plateau stress, which is directly.related to the energy.absorbing capacity. Finally. the empirical functions of the relative material density.are proposed for the elastic modulus, y.eld strength and plateau stress for FCC packing arrangement of hollow spheres, showing a good agreement with the experimental results obtained in our previous study.

The characteristics of the self-oriented lamellar microstructure in cast TiAI were investigated in both as cast and as HlPed states. Based on the mechanical anisotropy.of the cast lamellar microstructure, the component specific microstrueture design was proposed for a better performance and reliability.of cast TiAl.

On the basis of the thermody.amic calculation of precipitation and considering the effect of strain on the precipitation behavior and chemical composition （Si and Mn）, the kinetics of precipitation from austenite has been investigated for different temperatures and strains. Nucleation theory.and the solubility.product of niobium, carbon, and nitrogen in austenite have been used to derive equations for the start time of precipitation as a function of temperature and composition. The value of n in Avrami equation was determined using the available experimental data from the published reports, which indicated that n is a constant independent of temperature and the end time of precipitation is a function of n and the start time of precipitation. The values of the start time and end time of precipitation predicted by.the new model are compared with the experimental values and a good agreement was obtained between both.

Corrosion monitoring techniques were performed on X7O steel in saline solution saturated with CO2 with and without thiourea additives within the concentration range 5-25 mg/L. It was found that when the concentration of the inhibitors were increased, the inhibitor efficiencies（IE） of thiourea varied with solution temperature and immersion time. The results indicated that thiourea had the highest inhibition efficiency. The potentiondy.amic polariz.tion studies revealed that thiourea are mixed-ty.e inhibitor that mainly.restrains the anodic process.

The hot deformation behavior of AA6063 aluminium alloy.has been investigated by.means of compression tests at temperatures between 400 and 520℃, and strain rates ranging from 2.5 to 10 s^-1. Owing to the barreling, the theoretical model on the basis of Hills general method is used to calculate the flow stress of a cy.indrical specimen under uniaxial simple compression so as to consider the friction effect at the die-specimen interface. A method of evaluating the friction coefficient by.combining compression tests with the finite element method is presented. The real flow behavior of AA6063 aluminium alloy.can be described with sinh-Arrhenius equation. The hot deformation activation energy.Q derived from the corrected stress and strain data is 232. 350 kJ/mol.

Combining the elastica theory. finite element (FE) analy.is, and a geometrical topological experiment, we studied the mechanical behavior of a ring subjected to multi-pairs of evenly.distributed equal radial forces by.looking at its seven distinct states. The results showed that the theoretical predictions of the ring deformation and strain energy.matched the FE results very.well, and that the ring deformations were comparable to the topological experiment. Moreover, no matter whether the ring was compressed or tensioned by.N-pairs of forces, the ring alway. tended to be regular poly.ons with 2N sides as the force increased, and a proper compressive force deformed the ring into exquisite flower-like patterns. The present study.solves a basic mechanical problem of a ring subjected to lateral forces, which can be useful for study.ng the relevant mechanical behavior of ring structures from the nano- to the macro-scale.

We report experimental realiz.tion of a quantum version of Maxwell＇s demon using solid state spins where the information acquiring and feedback operations by.the demon are achieved through conditional quantum gates.A unique feature of this implementation is that the demon can start in a quantum superposition state or in an entangled state with an ancilla observer. Through quantum state tomography. we measure the entropy.in the sy.tem, demon, and the ancilla, showing the influence of coherence and entanglement on the result. A quantum implementation of Maxwell＇s demon adds more controllability.to this paradoxical thermal machine and may.find applications in quantum thermody.amics involving microscopic sy.tems.

I propose a new algorithm that uses recursive relations to compute spectroscopic factor, pair transfer amplitude and cluster transfer amplitude. I demonstrate the algorithm that it can be calculated very.quickly.and stored within small computer memory.consumption. In BCS case, the particle number is alway. conserved and the time-consuming projection is avoided. I drive analy.ical expressions for the pair transfer amplitude and the cluster transfer amplitude expressed by.asy.metry.many.pair density.matrix. This algorithm practically.could be used in all of the nuclear double beta decay.fields, the heavy.cluster emission fields and the single-nucleon transfer of the odd-mass isotopes.
