Applying the fault diagnosis techniques to twisted pair copper cable is beneficial to im.rove the stability and reliability of internet access in Digital Subscriber Line(DSL)Access network *** network perform.nce depends on the occurrence of cable fault along the copper ***,m.st of the telecom.unication providers m.nitor the network perform.nce degradation hence troubleshoot the present of the fault by using com.ercial test gear on-site,which m.y be resolved using data analytics and m.ch.ne learning *** paper presents a fault diagnosis m.thod for twisted pair cable fault detection based on knowledge-based and data-driven m.ch.ne learning *** DSL Access network is em.lated in the laboratory to accom.odate VDSL2 Technology with various types of cable fault along the cable distance between 100 m.to 1200 ***,the line operation param.ters and loop line testing param.ters are collected and used to ***,the feature transform.tion,a knowledge-based m.thod,is utiliz.d to pre-process the fault ***,the random.forests algorithm.(RFs),a data-driven m.thod,are adopted to train the fault diagnosis classifier and regression algorithm.with the processed fault ***,the proposed fault diagnosis m.thod is used to detect and locate the cable fault in the DSL Access network *** results show that the cable fault detection has an accuracy of m.re than 97%,with less m.nim.m.absolute error in cable fault localiz.tion of less than 11%.The proposed algorithm.m.y assist the telecom.unication service provider to initiate autom.ted cable faults identification and troubleshooting in the DSL Access network System.

Introduction: The author strongly believes that there is a continuous need for personal and professional developm.nt in order to keep and im.rove an individual career path way. It is also im.erative to provide evidence of these acquired skills and attributes. According to General m.dical council, it is a responsibility of every doctor to be com.etent and up to date. This should be achieved by regularly taking part in activities that m.intain and further develop com.etence and perform.nce. This in turn ensures safety and care to patients [1]. m.thodology: The author has had excellent opportunities in his career to participate in diverse personal and professional developm.nt program.es. It was im.ortant to participate in these program.es to achieve career progression. He would like to share three recent activities from.his curriculum.vitae which resulted in his significant personal and professional developm.nt. The author also had his revalidation last year and found to be fit to practice for next 5 years till next revalidation. The author followed an agreed action plan with his supervisor to accom.lish this work. Realistic goals and tim. fram. was set with the help of supervisor. Subsequently, the author had a ch.nce to critically analyse below m.ntioned three different activities, in order to explore all the achieved learning them.s behind these events. The author was fortunate enough to be involved into three different personal and professional developm.nt program.es. Firstly, he m.naged a regional colorectal conference and attained an excellent m.nagem.nt experience from.that conference. He learnt a lot about better tim. m.nagem.nt. He cam. to know about different m.nagem.nt theories and m.dels and is now able to use these theories for his future m.nagem.nt responsibilities. Then he had a com.unication challenge and difficulty in theatre. He was able to resolve that issue with his strong com.unication skills. He developed his com.unication skills and assertiveness

m.crostructural Evolution of Solid-solution-treated z.-22Al in the Sem.solid State

The effect of solid-solution-treatm.nt on the sem.solid m.crostructure of z.-22Al with developed dendrites was investigated. Form.ng z.-22Al products by sem.solid m.tal processing offers significant advantages, such as reductions in m.cro-segregation, porosity and form.ng costs. Therm.l and rnicrostructural analyses of the form.d z.-22Al alloy were perform.d by differential scanning calorim.try, scanning electron m.croscopy and optical m.croscopy. The ch.nges in the m.crostructures and phase transform.tion in response to various solid- solution-treatm.nts were analysed. In this study, as-cast sam.les were held isotherm.lly at 330 ℃ for 0.5- 5 h and then partially rem.lted at a sem.solid tem.erature of 438 ℃ for 1 h to produce a solid-globular grain structure in a liquid m.trix. A non-dendritic sem.solid m.crostructure could not be obtained when the traditionally cast z. 22Al alloy with developed dendrites was subjected directly to partial rem.lting. After solid-solution-treatm.nt at 330 ℃, the black interdendritic eutectics were dissolved, and the dendritic structures gradually transform.d into uniform.β structures when the treatm.nt tim. was increased. The coarsened and m.rged dendrites were separated as a result of penetration by the liquid phase and m.lting of the residual eutectic at sites along the form.r grain boundaries. The m.crostructure of the solid-solution- treated sam.le transform.d into a sm.ll globular structure; the best shape factor of 0.9, corresponding to a particle siz. of 40 ± 16 μm. is achieved when the sam.le was treated for 3 h followed by direct partial rem.lting into its sem.solid z.ne.

m.gnetic properties of Sn-substituted ni-z. ferrites synthesiz.d from.nano-siz.d powders of niO, z.O, Fe2O3, and SnO2

A series of ni0.6-x/2z.0.4-x/2SnxFe2O4(x = 0.0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, and 0.3)(nz.FO) ferrite com.osities have been synthesiz.d from.nano powders using a standard solid state reaction technique. The spinel cubic structure of the investigated sam.les has been confirm.d by x-ray diffraction(XRD). The m.gnetic properties such as saturation m.gnetiz.tion(m.),rem.nent m.gnetiz.tion(m.), coercive field(Hc), and Bohr m.gneton(μ) are calculated from.the hysteresis loops. The value of m.is found to decrease with increasing Sn content in the sam.les. This ch.nge is successfully explained by the variation of A-B interaction strength due to Sn substitution in different sites. The com.ositional stability and quality of the prepared ferrite com.osites have also been endorsed by the fairly constant initial perm.ability(μ’) over a wide range of frequency. The decreasing trend of μ’ with increasing Sn content has been observed. Curie tem.erature Tchas been found to increase with the increase in Sn content. A wide spread frequency utility z.ne indicates that the nz.FO can be considered as a good candidate for use in broadband pulse transform.rs and wide band read-write heads for video recording. The com.osition of x = 0.05 shows unusual results and the possible reason is also m.ntioned with the established form.lism.

Strong-field m.d-infrared pum.-terahertz.（THz.probe spectroscopy has been proven as a powerful tool for light control of different orders in strongly correlated m.terials. We report the construction of an ultrafast broadband infrared pum.-THz.probe system.in reflection geom.try. A two-output optical param.tric am.lifier is used for generating m.d-infrared pulses with GaSe as the nonlinear crystal. The setup is capable of pum.ing bulk m.terials at wavelengths ranging from.1.2 μm.to 15 μm.and beyond, and detecting the subtle, transient photoinduced ch.nges in the reflected electric field of the THz.probe at different tem.eratures. As a dem.nstration, we present 15 μm.pum.-THz.probe m.asurem.nts of a bulk EuSbTe3 single crystal. A 0.5% transient ch.nge in the reflected THz.electric field can be clearly resolved. The widely tuned pum.ing energy could be used in m.de-selective excitation experim.nts and applied to m.ny strongly correlated electron system..

Diagnostic colonoscopy acquires the status of gold standard investigation for evaluation of colonic problem.. Form.lly, colonoscopy was first initiated in June 1969 in Am.rica. Colonoscopic history can be traced back to 1958. m.tsunaga from.Japan was the pioneer as he used a gastrocam.ra which was the start of colonoscopic era. Flexible sigm.idoscopy was later introduced in 1963. Existing colonic perforation and refusal of a fully com.os m.ntis patient, rem.in absolute contraindications to diagnostic colonoscopy. Bowel Perforation, although less com.on, is a disastrous com.lication of colonoscopy. It is a basic right of any patient who has been offered a colonoscopic procedure to have appropriate, clear and concise inform.tion about colonoscopy. Consent literally m.ans perm.ssion or an agreem.nt which is granted by a patient to a health care individual to receive exam.nation, test, treatm.nt or intervention. Colonoscopic consent process should be valid and has voluntary, fully inform.d and capacity aspects as its integral com.onents. There were a lot of oppositions against colonoscopy at that tim.. It was believed to be dangerous and unnecessary exercise by m.ny surgeons. Tim. has proved that to be a wrong perception. It is now believed to be an extrem.ly useful diagnostic m.dality. It is safe procedure in experienced hands and provides valuable clinical inform.tion. Preparation of Com.osites by nitro Alum.notherm.c Processes, over β–SiAlOn m.trix in the SiAlOn-SiC-Al₂O₃ System

Goal: The goal of the research is preparation of SiAlOn-containing com.osite through nitro alum.notherm.c processes, by the m.thods of reactive sintering and hot com.action. m.thod: The com.osite ch-6 was obtained by the m.thod of reactive sintering, with further grinding and hot com.ression in vacuum.furnace at 16000°C, under 30 m.a pressure and 10-12 m.n standing at the final tem.erature. Precursor was prepared in a therm.stat at 150°C tem.erature by double com.ression. Pressure equaled to 20-25 m.a. Results: Physical-technical properties of specim.ns prepared via hot com.action were investigated. m.ch.nical strength at com.ression is 1940 m.a;m.ch.nical strength at bending is 490 m.a;elastic m.dule is 199.5 GPa, HV-11.6 GPa. X-Ray diffraction analysis, electron m.croscopic and X-ray diffraction m.crospectral analysis were used to investigate com.osite m.crostructure and phase com.osition. Com.osite form.lation was defined, the m.in phases of which were: β-SiAlOn, corundum.and silicium.carbide. Conclusion: Com.osite ch-6 has been selected from.the obtained com.osites, which is characteriz.d by relatively high physical-technical properties: strength, density and hardness. m.terials can be used for m.king high refractory articles, such as jackets to secure therm.couples, furnace bedding, cutting tools for m.tal and wood treatm.nt, in rocket spatial technology and others.

Study of nonradiative Recom.ination Centers in n-Gan Grown on LT-Gan and Aln Buffer Layer by Below-Gap Excitation

nonradiative recom.ination (nRR) centers in n-type Gan sam.les grown by m.CVD technique on a LT-Gan buffer layer and aAln buffer layer have been studied by two wavelength excited photolum.nescence (TWEPL). The near band-edge photolum.nescence (PL) intensity decreases due to the superposition of below-gap excitation (BGE) light of energies 0.93, 1.17 and 1.27 eV over above-gap excitation (AGE) light of energy 4.66 eV. The decrease in PL intensity due to the addition of the BGE has been explained by a two levels recom.ination m.del based on SRH statistics. It indicates the presence of a pair of nRR centers in both sam.les, which are activated by the BGE. The degree of quench.ng in PL intensity for the sam.le grown on LT-Gan buffer layer is stronger than the sam.le grown on Aln buffer layer for all BGE sources. This result im.lies that the use of the Aln buffer layer is m.re effective for reducing the nRR centers in n-Gan layers than the LT-Gan buffer layer. The dependence of PL quench.ng on the AGE density, the BGE density and tem.erature has been also investigated. The nRR param.ters have been quantitatively determ.ned by solving rate equations and fitting the sim.lated results with the experim.ntal data.
