OBJECTIVE: To enhance the understanding of identifying personaliz.d pharmacotherapy options in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), and further support the registration of new TCM drugs. METHODS: generaliz.d Boosted Models and XgBoost were employed to construct a classification model to identify the bad prognosis factors in resistant hypertension(RH) patients. Furthermore, we used association analysis to explore the rules of "symptomsyndrome" and "symptom-herb" for the major influencing factors, in order to summariz. prescription pattern and applicable patients of TCM. RESULTS: Patients with major adverse cardiac events mostly have complex symptoms of phlegm, stasis, deficiency and fire intermingled with each other, and finally summariz.d the human experience of using Chinese herbal medicine to precisely intervene in some symptoms of RH patients on the basis of conventional Western medical treatment. CONCLUSIONS: Machine learning algorithms can make full use of human use experience and evidence to save clinical trial resources and accelerate the development of TCM varieties.

Influence of Chemical Effect on the Kβ/Kα Intensity Ratios and Kβ Energy Shift of Co, Ni, Cu, and z. Complexes

Chemical effects on the Kβ/Kα intensity ratios and △E energy differences for Co, Ni, Cu, and z. complexes were investigated. The samples were excited by 59.5 keV γ-rays from a ^241Am annular radioactive source. K X-rays emitted by samples were counted by an Ultra-LEge detector with a resolution of 150 eV at 5.9 keV. We observed the effects of different ligands on the Kβ/Kα intensity ratios and △E energy differences for Co, Ni, Cu, and z. complexes. We tried to investigate chemical effects on central atoms using the behaviors of different ligands in these complexes. The experimental values of Kβ/Kα were compared with the theoretical and other experimental values of pure Co, Ni, Cu, and z..

Damage analysis caused by 60Co ions in functionally graded materials

Functionally graded composite/hybrid materials（FgCM/FgHCM） were produced by adding B4C, TiO2, and B4C+TiO2ceramic materials at various ratios（0-50%） into the AA6082 matrix. The analysis of the damage caused by60Co ions'（1.173-1.1332 MeV） on the material was examined using the SRIM/TRIM Monte Carlo simulation software. In the simulation, the following data regarding the atoms of the target materials were obtained: ion distribution, target ioniz.tion, total displacements, surface binding energy,lattice binding energy, and displacement energy. Among the studied four materials, the one with the highest ion range value was found to be AA6082 with 8550 ?. TiO2was found to be the reinforcement material that reduced the ion range the most in the material. Due to its high binding energy, B4C reinforced AA6082+（0-50%） B4C FgCM was found to have the least vacancy with 4782/ion.

Plasmonic nanostructures have been widely employed to enhance the chiral light-matter interactions for chirality sensing owing to their intriguing optical ***,a quantitative understanding of the correlation between enhanced molecular chirality and plasmonic properties in plasmonic nanoparticle-molecule complexes remains a challenge yet to be *** we demonstrate the complex interactions between Ag nanoparticles and biomolecules that generate distinct plasmonic circular dichroism signals ranging from UV to visible *** deliberately changing the surface coverage of chiral molecules,the geometry of Ag nanoparticles,and the aggregation states of the complexes,three distinct underlying mechanisms were found to be intertwined and hybridiz.d for enhancing circular dichroism *** further employed the chiral plasmonic nanoparticle-molecule complexes to quantify the enantiomeric purity of cysteine and explore their possible applications in other chiral *** insights gained from this work shed light on the underlying mechanisms dictating the enhanced circular dichroism signals of chiral plasmonic nanoparticle-molecule complexes.

Particle shape characterisation and classification using automated microscopy and shape descriptors in batch manufacture of particulate solids

It is known that siz. alone, which is often defined as the volume-equivalent diameter, is not sufficient to characteriz. many particulate products. The shape of crystalline products can be as important as siz. in many applications, Traditionally, particulate shape is often defined by several simple descriptors such as the maximum length and the aspect ratio. Although these descriptors are intuitive, they result in a loss of information about the original shape. This paper presents a method to use principal component analysis to derive simple latent shape descriptors from microscope images of particulate products made in batch processes, and the use of these descriptors to identify batch-to-batch variations. Data from batch runs of both a laboratory crystalliser and an industrial crystallisation reactor are analysed using the described approach. Qualitative and quantitative comparisons with the use of traditional shape descriptors that have nhwical meanings and Fourier shape descriptors are also made.

Territorial Ecological Restoration with a High-carbon Storage Focus in the Beibu gulf Urban Agglomeration of China:Insights from Carbon Metabolism Spatial Security Patterns

This study focuses on urgent research on restoring and enhancing carbon storage capacity in the Beibu gulf Urban Agglomer-ation of China,a key area in the‘Belt and Road’Initiative,which aligns with carbon peaking and neutrality *** research ana-lyz.s the spatial characteristics of carbon metabolism from 2000 to 2020 and uses models to identify stable carbon sink areas,positive carbon flow corridors,and carbon sequestration *** goal is to construct a carbon metabolism spatial security pattern(CMSSP)and propose territorial ecological restoration strategies under different development demand *** results show the following:1)in 2020,the study area’s carbon sink decreased by 8.29×10^(4) t C/yr compared with that in 2010 and by 10.83×10^(4) t C/yr compared with that in ***-carbon sinks were found mainly in mountainous areas,whereas low-carbon sinks are concentrated in urban con-struction land,rural residential areas,and land margins.2)From 2000 to 2020,the spatial security pattern of carbon metabolism tended to be‘high in the middle of the east and west and low in the gulf.’In 2000,2010,and 2020,16 stable carbon sinks were *** carbon energy flow density in guangxi was greater than that in guangdong and Hainan,with positive carbon flow corridors located primarily in guangxi and *** number of carbon sequestration nodes remained stable at approximately 15,mainly in guangxi and Hainan.3)Scenario simulations revealed that under the Nature-based mild restoration scenario,the carbon sink rate will reach 611.85×10^(4) t C/yr by 2030 and increase to 612.45×10^(4) t C/yr by 2060,with stable carbon sinks increasing to *** the restora-tion scenario based on Anti-globaliz.tion,the carbon sink will decrease from 610.24×10^(4) t C/yr in 2030 to 605.19×10^(4) t C/yr in 2060,with the disappearance of some positive carbon flow corridors and stable carbon *** the Human-based sustainable restoration scenario,the carbon sink area wil

Wide Absorption Spectrum Measuring Methods by DFB-LDs in Water Vapor Detection System

Two measuring methods of the wide absorption spectrum by distributed feedback laser diodes （DFB-LDs） are presented in detecting the water vapor absorption line. One is the subsection scanning method, and it takes advantage of the wide spectrum tuning range by the temperature modulation and fast spectrum tuning speed by current modulation. Specifically, this method is realiz.d by dividing a target spectral region into several sections which correspond to the specific temperature of DFB-LD, scanning every section by current modulation for hundreds times, and averaging the data to raise the signal to noise ratio （SNR）, then combining all sections to get the whole spectrum. An accuracy of 10ppmv had been obtained in the measurement of water vapor with a 10-cm path length by this method. Another is data fitting method, based on the absorption line-shape function; the absorption line can be described by fitting with partial measured data. The fitting absorption line was fitted well with the measured data, and the square of correlation coefficient （R-square） was no less than 0.99.

Dislocation ordering and texture strengthening of naturally aged Al-Cu-Mg alloy

Stability of grain structure,dislocation ordering and strengthening mechanisms of the naturally aged AlCu-Mg alloy after solution treatment are investigated by using optical microscope(OM),scanning electron microscope(SEM),electron back-scattered diffraction(EBSD),X-ray diffraction(XRD) and transmission electron microscope(TEM).Results show that {100},{100},{110} and {110}slip systems can be activated after solution treatment,which can promote the formation of {110}goss *** combination effect of T-Al_(20)Cu_(2) Mn_(3) phase and goss-oriented grains with large Taylor factor makes the solution-treated alloys display excellent stability of grain *** enhanced yield strength of the alloy is ascribed to grain-refine strengthening,dispersed particles strengthening,dislocation strengthening and texture *** coarsening of the second phase is responsible for softening of the alloy after annealing at 400 ℃+solution treatment at 475 ℃.

SURFACE COMPOSITE gEAR AND PIPE MADE BY SEPARATED EUTECTIC TECHNOLOgY

It is found that the anomalous eutectics can be separated on macroscopic scale by flow caused by electromagnetic stirring, and the separated phase is the leading faceted phase with the solution entropy over 23 J/(mol·K). By using this technology, a new kind of composite pipe and gear with good abrasive properties were made without adding any reinforced particles. Emphases were paid on the researches about formation mechanism of separated eutectic and abrasive property of the composite pipe or gear. The result shows that the entropy of solution controlling the eutectic microstructure is also valid and useful as a criterion of separated eutectic, and the kind and its chemical scope of the off-eutectic used to make composite can be calculated according to this theory.

The transformation behavior and microstructure development in the heat affected z.ne(HAz.of 800MPa grade ultra fine structured steel was *** was found that the HAz.has intermediate temperature transformation characteristics in a wide range of cooling rates,with the bainite sheaves consisting of bainite ferrite plates without carbide precipitation and retained austenite in the fast cooling *** relatively high cooling rates,which corresponded to low heat inputs,the hardness of the simulated HAz.was above that of the base *** the cooling rate was below 9C/s,the welding HAz.would have an obvious *** analysis of transformation rates in continuous cooling processes was completed by numerical differential *** result indicated that the microstructure transformation rate of the HAz.in 800MPa grade ultra fine structured steel changed sharply to slow speeds when the cooling time t8/5 is longer than 7s.
