The acceleration of ultrathin targets driven by intense laser pulses induces Rayleigh–Taylor-like *** from laser and target con-figurations,we find that electron heating and surface rippling,effects inherent to the interaction process,have an important role in instability evolution and *** employing a simple analytical model and two-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations,we show that the onset of electron heating in the early stage of the acceleration suppresses the growth of small-scale modes,but it has little influence on the growth of large-scale modes,which thus become *** the growth of surface ripples,a mechanism that can significantly influence the growth of these large-scale modes is *** laser field modulation caused by surface rippling generates an oscillatory ponderomotive force,directly modulating transverse electron density at a faster growth rate than that of ions and eventually enhancing instability *** results show that when surface deformation becomes obvious,electron surface oscillation at 2ω0(whereω0 is the laser frequency)is excited simultaneously,which can be seen as a signature of this mechanism.

The determination of chloride ions in concrete materials accurately is far and away crucial,since chloride ions can cause corrosion of steel and concrete cover *** conventional potential method and silver nitrate titration method usually show features of simple operation and short duration,nevertheless,they are not suitable for accurate analysis for concrete attributing to their low accuracy and detection *** this paper,an ionchromatography method was presented to detemiine chlorine in concrete *** samples were pre-processed and then extracted with distilled *** extraction solutions were purified on a 0.22μm filter membrane,an On Guard SPE-RP column and a SPE-H column sequentially for eliminating undissolved substance,organisms and metal ions before ion chromatographic *** chromatographic separation was performed on a Dionex ICS-1000 Chromatographic using 25.0 mmol/L KOH solutions as mobile phase at 1.0mL/*** show that the detection limit of the method was 0.004 mg/*** linear relationship of the external Clstandard solutions was 0.9994,and the RSD was 2.1%.

Smart farming with outdoor monitoring systems is critical to address food shortages and sustainability *** systems facilitate informed decisions that enhance efficiency in broader environmental *** outdoor systems equipped with energy harvesters and self-powered sensors often struggle with fluctuating energy sources,low durability under harsh conditions,non-transparent or non-biocompatible materials,and complex ***,a multifunctional hydrogel is developed,which can fulfill all the above requirements and build selfsustainable outdoor monitoring systems solely by *** can serve as a stable energy harvester that continuously generates direct current output with an average power density of 1.9 W m^(-3)for nearly 60 days of operation in normal environments(24℃,60%RH),with an energy density of around 1.36×10^(7)J m^(-3).It also shows good self-recoverability in severe environments(45℃,30%RH)in nearly 40 days of continuous ***,this hydrogel enables noninvasive and self-powered monitoring of leaf relative water content,providing critical data on evaluating plant health,previously obtainable only through invasive or high-power consumption *** potential extends to acting as other self-powered environmental *** multifunctional hydrogel enables self-sustainable outdoor systems with scalable and low-cost production,paving the way for future agriculture.

Functionally graded composite/hybrid materials(FGCM/FGHCM)were produced by adding b_(4)C,TiO_(2),and b_(4)C+TiO_(2)ceramic materials at various ratios(0-50%)into the AA6082 *** analysis of the damage caused by^(60) ions'(1.173-1.1332 MeV)on the material was examined using the SRIM/TRIM Monte Carlo simulation *** the simulation,the following data regarding the atoms of the target materials were obtained:ion distribution,target ionization,total displacements,surface binding energy,lattice binding energy,and displacement *** the studied four materials,the one with the highest ion range value was found to be AA6082 with ***_(2)was found to be the reinforcement material that reduced the ion range the most in the *** to its high binding energy,b_(4)C reinforced AA6082+(0-50%)b_(4)C FGCM was found to have the least vacancy with 4782/ion.

The microstructural evolution of a cold-rolled and intercritical annealed medium-Mn steel(Fe-0.10C-5Mn)was investigated during uniaxial tensile ***-situ observations under scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and X-ray diffraction analysis were conducted to characterize the progressive transformation-induced plasticity process and associated fracture initiation *** findings were discussed with the local strain measurements via digital image *** results indicated that Lüders band formation in the steel was limited to 1.5%strain,which was mainly due to the early-stage martensitic phase transformation of a very small amount of the less stable large-sized retained austenite(RA),which led to localized stress concentrations and strain hardening and further retardation of *** small-sized RA exhibited high stability and progressively transformed into martensite and contributed to a stably extended Portevin-Le Chatelier *** volume fraction of RA gradually decreased from 26.8%to 8.2%prior to *** the late deformation stage,fracture initiation primarily occurred at the austenite/martensite and ferrite/martensite interfaces and the ferrite phase.

The study of high-energy gamma-ray emission from gamma-ray bursts(GRbs) involves complex synchrotron radiation and synchrotron self-Compton(SSC) scattering mechanisms with multiple parameters exhibiting a wide distribution. Recent advancements in GRb research, particularly the observation of very high energy(VHE,>100 Ge V) radiation, have ushered in a new era of multiwavelength exploration, offering fresh perspectives and limitations for understanding GRb radiation mechanisms. This study aimed to leverage VHE observations to refine constraints on synchrotron + SSC radiation from electrons accelerated by forward shocks. by analyzing two external environments—the uniform interstellar medium and stratified stellar wind medium, we conducted spectral and variability fitting for five specific bursts(GRb 180720b, GRb 190114C, GRb 190829A, GRb 201216C, and GRb 221009A) to identify the optimal parameters characterizing these events. A comparative analysis of model parameter distributions with and without VHE radiation observations reveals that the magnetic energy equipartition factor εbis more concentrated with VHE emissions. This suggests that VHE emissions may offer greater constraints on this microphysical parameter. Additionally, we found that the energy budget between VHE and ke V–Me V γ-ray emissions under the SSC radiation exhibits an almost linear relationship, which may serve as a tool to differentiate radiation mechanisms. We anticipate future statistical analyses of additional VHE bursts to validate our findings.
