Self-assembled donor-acceptor hole contacts for inverted perovskite solar cells with an efficiency approaching 22%: The impact of anchoring groups

Self-assembled molecules(SAMs) have shown great potential in replacing bulk charge selective contact layers in high-performance perovskite solar cells(PSCs) due to their low material consumption and simple processing. Herein, we design and synthesize a series of donor-acceptor(D-A) type SAMs(MPA-bTCA, MPA-bT-bA, and MPA-bT-RA, where MPA is 4-methoxy-N-(4-methoxyphenyl)-N-phenylaniline;bT is benzo[c][1,2,5]-thiadiazole;CA is 2-cyanoacrylic acid, bA is benzoic acid, RA is rhodanine-3-propionic acid) with distinct anchoring groups, which show dramatically different properties. MPA-bTCA with CA anchoring groups exhibited stronger dipole moments and formed a homogeneous monolayer on the indium tin oxide(ITO) surface by adopting an upstanding self-assembling mode. However, the MPA-bT-RA molecules tend to aggregate severely in solid state due to the sp~3 hybridization of the carbon atom on the RA group, which is not favorable for achieving a long-range ordered self-assembled ***, benefiting from high dipole moment, as well as dense and uniform self-assembled film,the device based on MPA-bT-CA yielded a remarkable power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 21.81%.Encouragingly, an impressive PCE approaching 20% can still be obtained for the MPA-bT-CA-based PSCs as the device area is increased to 0.80 cm^(2). Our work sheds light on the design principles for developing hole selecting SAMs, which will pave a way for realizing highly efficient, flexible, and large-area PSCs.

Analysis of microRNA expression in organ of Corti in neonatal and adult rats

Objective To characterize microRNA （miRNA） expression profile in microdissected auditory epithelia from the Corti＇ s Organ in new born and adult rats. Methods The TaqMan（R） MicroRNA Arrays were used to identify expres- sion of microRNA in the new born and adult groups. GO analysis was applied to analyze the main function of the differen- tial expression genes according to the Gene Ontology which is the key functional classification of NCbI. Similarly, Pathway analysis was used to find out the significant pathway of the differential genes according to KEGG, biocarta and Reatome. Results Increased expression was seen in 16 miRNAs in mature rat compared to new born rats, with increased folding ranging from 17 to 600 folds. Expression levels in 2 miRNAs were reduced in mature rats, namely rno-miR-29c and rno-miR-29a. The high-enrichment GOs targeted by over-expressed miRNAs were negative regulation of epithelial cell differentiation, common-partner SMAD protein phosphorylation, mesenchymal-epithelial cell signaling, regulation of transforming growth factor beta2 production, etc. Functional analysis of miRNAs by KEGG revealed that 19 signal transduction pathways were upregulated and 14 were downregulated. Conclusions The difference in miRNA expression patterns in the organ of Corti between neonatal and adult rats may be closely related to maturation of the organ of Corti and loss of proliferative capacity of inner ear hair cells, and TGFβ signaling may play an important role in hair cells regeneration.

Li_(2)S doping into CzTSe drives the large improvement of V_(OC) of solar cell

Alkali metal doping or sulfurization are commonly applied in Cu_(2)znSnSe_(4) (CzTSe) solar cell to improve the open-circuit voltage (VOC). However, alkali metal sulfide affording both alkali metal and sulfur is seldom to be studied, which restrains the development of kesterite solar cells. In this study, we evaporate Li_(2)S during selenization process and hope to provide both alkali metal and sulfur to CzTSe film. The result indicates that Li shows a gradient distribution near the surface of CzTSe film and the content of S is slight. The film quality is improved and the recombination at grain boundaries is decreased after Li_(2)S treatment. besides, the bandgap of the absorber gets wider. Under the synergy of sulfur and lithium (mainly from lithium), the work function of the treated absorber gets higher and the conduction band offset (CbO) is in the ideal range. Combined with these contributions, the V_(OC) of the champion device treated by Li_(2)S dramatically increase by 120 mV. This study discloses that alkali metal brings the main effect on the performance of the kesterite solar cell even an alkali metal sulfide is evaporated, which deepens the understanding of sulfurization of CzTSe and also promote the progress of kesterite solar cells.

Theoretical Research on the Multi-channel Reaction Mechanism of CHF Radical with HNCO by Density Functional Theory

The reaction mechanism of CHF radical with HNCO was investigated by the b3LYP method of density functional theory （DFT）, while the geometries and harmonic vibration frequencies of reactants, intermediates, transition states and products were calculated at the b3LYP/6-311＋＋G＊＊ level. In the temperature range of 100-2600 K, the statistical thermody- namics and Eyring transition state theory with Winger correction were used to study the thermodynamic and kinetic characters of the channel with low energy barrier. In addition, the analysis on the combining interaction between CHF radical and HNCO was performed by atom-in-molecules theory （AIM） and natural bond orbitals （NbO） analysis. The calculation results indicated that the reaction of CHF radical with HNCO had ten channels, and the channel of NH direct extraction （CHF ＋ HNCO→IM6→TS7→IM7→CHFNH ＋ CO） in singlet state was the main channel with low potential energy and high equilibrium constant and reaction rate constant. CHFNH and CO were the main products.

Numerical investigation of the effect of T-shaped blade on the energy performance improvement of a semi-open centrifugal pump

The tip leakage flow formed by the tip clearance of a semi-open centrifugal pump adversely affects the energy performance and the energy waste. A T-shaped blade is proposed to be used to improve the energy characteristics. The internal flow field is simulated via the shear stress transport turbulence model to analyze the influence of the T-shaped blade on the performance of a centrifugal pump. It is shown that with the T-shaped blade, the hydraulic loss can be reduced, the Euler head can be increased, and the external characteristics can be improved. The maximum head and efficiency improvements are 3% and 1.6%, respectively. The relative flow angle near the tip clearance of the T-shaped blade decreases, and the strength of the backflow region is remarkably weakened. The area of the high entropy production region decreases, and the trend of the upstream diffusion is restrained under the design condition. The T-shaped blade can help to inhibit the diffusion of the high entropy production region to the hub under the low flow rate condition, but the entropy production and the mixing losses at the tip clearance are slightly increased. This research provides a new method for improving the energy performance of the semi-open centrifugal pump.

Additive Maps Preserving the Star Partial Order on b(H)

Let b（H） be the C^＊-algebra of all bounded linear operators on a complex Hilbert space H. It is proved that an additive surjective map φ on b（H） preserving the star partial order in both directions if and only if one of the following assertions holds. （1） There exist a nonzero complex number a and two unitary operators U and V on H such that φ（X） = a UXV or φ（X） = α UX^＊ V for all X ∈b（H）. （2） There exist a nonzero a and two anti-unitary operators U and V on H such that φ（X） = αUXV or φ（X） = aUX^＊ Vfor all X∈ b（H）.

Tailoring the alloy composition,which induces the hard secondary phase to increase hardness and strength to improve the wear features,is a feasible approach for developing wear-resistant metal ***,a group of(AlCoCrFeNi)_(100–x)Sc_(x)(x=0–2.0,at%)high-entropy alloys(HEAs)are designed and the phase compositions and wear behaviors are ***-doped HEA series contain the primary body-centered cubic(bCC)and eutectic phases,in which the eutectic phase is composed of the alternately grown bCC and Laves *** addition promotes the diffusion of Ni atoms from bCC phase to form the Sc-rich Laves phase at the grain *** hardness increases due to solid solution strengthening and second phase *** the second phase strengthening plays a more significant role relative to solid solution *** phase and the oxides caused by wear heating prevent the direct contact between friction pair and HEAs,thus inducing a decreased wear rate from 6.82×10^(−5) to 3.47×10^(−5)m^(3)·N^(−1)·m^(−1).Moreover,the wear mechanism changes from adhesive wear,abrasive wear and oxidative wear to abrasive wear and oxidative wear.

Novel Cinobufagin Oxime Ether Derivatives as Potential Na＋/K＋-ATPase Inhibitors： Synthesis, biological Screening and Molecular Docking

Some cinobufagin oxime ether derivatives as potential Na＋/K＋-ATPase inkibitors were synthesized by following the side chain of istaroxime. These compounds inhibit Na＋/K＋-ATPase in a dose-dependent manner. Compound 3c with an oxyethylamine side chain that is the same as that of istaroxime showed the most potent inhibi- tion, which was stronger than compound 3a with only hydroxyoxime moiety at C3 and compound 3b with a methy-lated hydroxyoxime moiety. Molecular docking was used to explore the binding modes of the target compounds with Na＋/K＋-ATPase, which suggested that the longer ethyl amine group at C3 oxime moiety of compound 3c could make stronger interaction with Na＋/K＋-ATPase via intermolecular charge-charge and H-bond interaction as compared with other derivatives.

Nanofiltration(NF)membranes as high selective separators are appealing for molecular sieving,which still remains a great challenge for the mixed dyes with same *** this study,cellulose acetate(CA)membranes were firstly aminated by ethylene imine polymer(PEI),and then the thin film of metal organic frameworks(MOFs)were constructed onto aminated CA membrane through forward-diffusion,slow crystallization and in situ growth of Fe Co-Prussian blue(FeCo-Pb)crystallization *** designed Pb@CA composite NF membrane shows an ideal rejection for Congo red(CR)/methyl orange(MO)mixture solution,with 99.7%±0.2%for CR and 33.5%±2%for *** addition,the composite NF membrane demonstrated good efficiency for photocatalytic degradation of organic fouling(permeability recovery ratio was up to 92%)due to the active FeCo-Pb ***,this work provides a practical strategy to prepare MOFs mediated thin film composite nanofiltration membrane for precise molecular sieving and catalytic antifouling performances.
