Tactile perception of textile fabrics based on friction and brain activation

Tactile perception plays a critical role in the interaction of humans and environment.It begins with the mechanical stimulation induced by friction and is processed in the somatosensory cortex.To quantify the tactile perceptions of textile fabrics,the mechanical properties of fabrics and the features extracted from the friction and vibration signals were correlated with the subjective sensation rated by questionnaires.Meanwhile,the technique of functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)was used to identify the brain areas responsible for the tactile perception of textile fabrics.The results showed that during the tactile perception of textile fabrics,the coefficient of friction increased with the increasing normal load,indicating that the deformation mechanism of skin was relevant to the friction of skin against fabrics.The features of spectral centroid(SC),coefficient of friction,and diameter and critical buckling force of fiber had a strong correlation with the perceived fineness,slipperiness,and prickliness of fabrics,respectively.The postcentral gyrus,supramarginal gyrus,and precentral gyrus,with the corresponding functional regions of the primary somatosensory cortex(SI),secondary somatosensory cortex(SII),primary motor cortex(MI),and secondary motor cortex(MII),were involved with the perceptions of fabric textures.The fiber properties and fabric surface structures that caused the multidimensional feelings tended to induce the large area,intensity,and percent signal change(PSC)of brain activity.This study is meaning for evaluating the tactile stimulation of textile fabrics and understanding the cognitive mechanism in the tactile perception of textile fabrics.

Orthogonal discrete frequency coding waveform design based on chaos

Orthogonal waveform design is quite an important issue for waveform diversity systems. A chaos based method for the orthogonal discrete frequency coding waveform （DFCW） design is proposed to increase the insufficient orthogonal waveform number and their finite coding length. Premises for chaos choosing and the frequency quantification method are discussed to obtain the best correlation properties. Simulation results show the validity of the theoretic analysis.

A Distributed Computing Framework Based on Lightweight Variance Reduction Method to Accelerate Machine Learning Training on Blockchain

To security support large-scale intelligent applications,distributed machine learning based on blockchain is an intuitive solution scheme.However,the distributed machine learning is difficult to train due to that the corresponding optimization solver algorithms converge slowly,which highly demand on computing and memory resources.To overcome the challenges,we propose a distributed computing framework for L-BFGS optimization algorithm based on variance reduction method,which is a lightweight,few additional cost and parallelized scheme for the model training process.To validate the claims,we have conducted several experiments on multiple classical datasets.Results show that our proposed computing framework can steadily accelerate the training process of solver in either local mode or distributed mode.

硬岩地质下镶齿滚刀齿形对破岩性能影响研究

为了降低镶齿滚刀的破岩比能耗和刀齿接触面应力,提高镶齿滚刀在硬岩地质下的破岩效率和使用寿命,采用LS-DYNA建立显示动力学仿真模型,并通过实验验证模型的可靠性。仿真分析镶齿滚刀的破岩机理及不同齿形的破岩效率,确定较优的齿形。通过正交试验法,分析齿宽、齿高、齿顶半径和齿数对破岩效率以及接触面应力值的影响,确定齿形参数对破岩性能影响权重。研究结果表明:在118 MPa硬岩地质下,镐齿滚刀的破岩效率最高,齿顶半径为破岩效率的最主要影响因素,权重达到50%,齿数与齿顶高为接触面应力值的主要影响因素,权重分别占31%、36%。齿形最优参数组合是齿宽为11 mm、齿顶高为1 mm、齿顶半径为10 mm、齿数为36个。该研究对于镶齿滚刀的齿形选择及参数优化具有参考价值。

支气管动脉栓塞治疗大咯血的性别回顾分析

目的回顾性分析发生肺大咯血患者的临床特征和预后结局。方法收集2016年至2018年因大咯血在我院接受支气管动脉栓塞术的患者，按照性别差异分为2组，其中女性68例，男性195例；统计患者的原发病、发病年龄、住院时长、出血部位、使用的栓塞剂、咯血复发率及死亡率，使用SPSS 27.0软件分析患者发病年龄和住院时长、性别和患者复发咯血及死亡的相关性，使用RStudio 4.2.2制作患者复发咯血及死亡诺莫图。结果原发病前3位的细菌感染、支气管扩张（支扩）和陈旧性肺结核中女性发病率为50%、22%、15%，男性为43%、21%、21%；发病年龄女性为（54.6±16.8）岁，男性为（60.1±14.0）岁；出血部位中仅左肺、仅右肺、双肺可见，女性占比6%、21%、73%，男性占比17%、21%、62%；栓塞剂350～560μm PVA颗粒和300～500μm微球中女性31%、24%，男性50%、17%；复发咯血患者中前3位原发病陈旧性肺结核、肺部感染和支扩中，女性占比33%、33%、33%，男性44%、34%、10%；引起患者死亡的原因较为复杂，其中肺部感染起到了重要作用。结论女性和男性在原发病、出血部位、栓塞剂的适用、复发咯血和死亡预后当中存在性别差异，且年龄为患者复发咯血及死亡的独立影响因素。

Investor is a novel speculation scheme that targets at the open Internet. It makes use of standard HTTP and speculation by convention to fit into this environment. Investor is a runtime technique that doesn’t modify the languages, compilers or binary formats of the applications, so it is compatible well with existing programs or libraries. Investor can overcome some form of control dependency and data dependency. Preliminary experiments show that Investor can significantly improve the overall performance of the applications.

Voltage rise rate-related generalised probabilistic lifetime model of turn-to-turn insulation in inverter-fed motors

The lifetime model of turn-to-turn insulation in inverter-fed motors is studied.A lifetime model has been built by considering the effect of inverter-generated high voltage rise rate(dv/dt up to 20 V/ns).This model is followed by the generalised probabilistic model,in which the lifetime is proportional to the nth power of the voltage rise rate.Moreover,by investigating the effect of voltage rise rate on the partial discharge characteristics,it is found that the effect of voltage rise rate on the charge transport process in a voltage cycle is similar to that of the voltage amplitude.The enhanced partial discharge activity and induced charges are responsible for accelerated ageing and thus determine the final lifetime of turn-to-turn insulation.In this case,the generalised probabilistic electric lifetime model is applicable to the voltage rise rate as well as the voltage amplitude.

The significance of resource recycling for coking wastewater treatment:based on environmental and economic life cycle assessment

The sustainability of the coking industry is supported by reasonable production profit and environmental quality requirements.The traditional measures substantially increased the related costs for enterprises to reach standards.This paper aims to develop a comprehensive cost combined environmental impact assessment method that is necessary for the analysis of wastewater treatment systems.Typical three coking wastewater treatment processes in China were evaluated.Results showed that eutrophication dominantly contributed to the overall environmental effect.Improving effluent quality could significantly reduce the total environmental impact.In terms of an economic perspective,the price of raw materials was the main factor that affected the operating cost of comprehensive treatment.Based on subsystem analysis,the pretreatment stage accounted for the majority of environmental and cost burdens,respectively reaching 64%-78%and 64%-86%.Optimizing the pretreatment process by enhancing the efficiency of high concentration raw material recovery and substituting toxic raw materials for extractant could reduce the environmental impact and economic cost by 43.8%and 57%,respectively,which was an effective way to improve the potential performance of coking wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs).
