Near-infrared responsive 5-fluorouracil and indocyanine green loaded MPEG-PCL nanoparticle integrated with dissolvable microneedle for skin cancer therapy

The prevalence of skin cancer is rising along with the rapid population aging in recent *** therapies,such as surgical treatment,radiotherapy,chemotherapy,photodynamic therapy,and immunotherapy,may accompany serious side effects,limiting their clinical *** to the biological characteristics of skin cancer,we have already established two kinds of synergetic systems of photothermal therapy(microneedle)and chemotherapy,containing gold nanorods(GNR).Although the microneedle system exhibited great potential for skin cancer treatment,the system could be still improved ***,we designed a near-infrared lightresponsive 5-fluorouracil(5-Fu)and indocyanine green(ICG)loaded monomethoxy-poly(ethylene glycol)-polycaprolactone(MPEG-PCL)nanoparticle(5-Fu-ICG-MPEG-PCL),and then 5-Fu-ICG-MPEG-PCL was integrated with a hyaluronic acid dissolvable microneedle system(HA MN)to get 5-Fu-ICG-MPEG-PCL loaded HA MN for treating skin cancers,including human epidermoid cancer and *** this system,hyaluronic acid,the microneedle carrier,possesses good skin penetration ability and is approved by FDA as a pharmaceutical adjuvant;5-Fu is recommended by FDA for skin cancer treatment;ICG,a photothermal agent,possesses a strong photothermal ability and is approved by FDA for its use in the human *** hypothesized that 5-Fu-ICG-MPEG-PCL could be delivered by the dissolvable microneedle through the skin,and the release behavior of the drug in the nanoparticle could be controlled by near-infrared light for achieving a single-dose cure of skin cancer,improving the cure rate of skin cancer and providing a new idea and possibility for the clinical treatment of skin cancer.

Nerve guide conduits(NGCs),as alternatives to nerve autografts and allografts,have been widely explored as an advanced tool for the treatment of peripheral nerve ***,the repairing efficiency of NGCs still needs significant *** NGCs that provide a more favorable microenvironment for promoting axonal elongation and myelination are of great *** recent years,3D printing technologies have been widely applied in the fabrication of customized and complex constructs,exhibiting great potential for tissue engineering applications,especially for the construction of functional *** this review,we introduce the 3D printing technologies for manufacturing functional NGCs,including inkjet printing,extrusion printing,stereolithographybased printing and indirect ***,we summarize the current methods and strategies for constructing functional NGCs,such as designing special conduit architectures,using appropriate materials and co-printing with different biological ***,the challenges and prospects for construction of functional NGCs are also presented.

Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)experience substantial viability issues in the stroke infarct region,limiting their therapeutic efficacy and clinical *** levels of deadly reactive oxygen radicals(ROS)and proinflammatory cytokines(PC)in the infarct milieu kill transplanted MSCs,whereas low levels of beneficial ROS and PC stimulate and improve engrafted MSCs’*** on the intrinsic hormesis effects in cellular biology,we built a microglia-inspired MSC bioengineering system to transform detrimental high-level ROS and PC into vitality enhancers for strengthening MSC *** system is achieved by bioorthogonally arming metabolic glycoengineered MSCs with microglial membrane-coated nanoparticles and an antioxidative extracellular protective *** this system,extracellular ROSscavenging and PC-absorbing layers effectively buffer the deleterious effects and establish a microlivable niche at the level of a single MSC for ***,the infarct’s inanimate milieu is transformed at the tissue level into a new living niche to facilitate *** engineered MSCs achieved viability five times higher than natural MSCs at seven days after transplantation and exhibited a superior therapeutic effect for stroke recovery up to 28 *** vitality-augmented system demonstrates the potential to accelerate the clinical translation of MSC treatment and boost stroke recovery.

Adipose-derived stem cells(ADSCs)have promising applications in tissue ***,there are only a few ADSC products that have been approved for clinical *** clinical application of ADSCs still faces many ***,we review emerging strategies to improve the therapeutic efficacy of ADSCs in tissue ***,a great quantity of cells is often needed for the stem cell therapies,which requires the advanced cell expansion *** addition cell-derived products are also required for the development of‘cell-free’therapies to overcome the drawbacks of cell-based ***,it is necessary to strengthen the regenerative functions of ADSCs,including viability,differentiation and paracrine ability,for the tissue repair and regeneration required for different physiological and pathophysiological ***,poor delivery efficiency also restricts the therapeutic effect of *** methods to improve cell delivery include alleviating harsh microenvironments,enhancing targeting ability and prolonging cell ***,we also point out some critical issues about the sources,effectiveness and safety of *** these advanced strategies to improve the therapeutic efficacy of ADSCs,ADSC-based treatment holds great promise for clinical applications in tissue regeneration.

Research on the Relationship between the Profitability and R&D Investment of Enterprises of Different Scales in China’s Pharmaceutical Industry

Objective To analyze the relationship between the profitability of pharmaceutical enterprises of different scales and their R&D *** The data of China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry from 1995 to 2016 were selected to establish a vector auto-regression mode,and then an impulse response function and variance decomposition were used to analyze the *** and Conclusion For large-scale pharmaceutical enterprises,1%increase in R&D input will lead to 0.792%increase of their main business *** medium-sized enterprises,if their main business profit increases by 1%,their R&D input will increase by 0.965%.Therefore,if their R&D input increases by 1%,their main business profit will increase by 1.036%.The improvement of the profitability of large-scale pharmaceutical enterprises cannot promote the increase of R&D capital *** the increase of profitability from medium-sized enterprises can promote the increase of R&D capital *** a result,the increase of R&D capital investment of large and medium-sized enterprises can improve corporate profitability.

^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O反应是核天体物理重要核反应之一。该反应通过与3α反应竞争直接影响氦燃烧产生的C和O的丰度比,对于理解恒星演化和生物演化都有重要意义,也对研究黑洞间隙有重要作用,被誉为核天体物理的圣杯反应。本文对该反应的研究现状进行了介绍,并介绍了未来的计划。对该反应的间接测量方法主要有弹性/非弹性散射、β延迟α发射、逆反应和α转移等方法,近年来国际上也有一些直接测量实验研究。然而目前现有^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O反应直接测量仍无法将测量能区扩展至核天体物理关心的伽莫夫窗口,间接测量结果之间也存在较大分歧,远未达到恒星模型计算要求的10%精度,因此对该反应的测量仍是核天体物理关注的重点。中国原子能科学研究院利用(^(11)B,^(7)Li)转移体系对圣杯反应进行了间接测量,并正在锦屏深地核天体物理实验平台开展直接测量研究,已完成国际最低能区直接测量,未来将向更低的能区发起冲击。

Research on the Relationship between Export Orientation and R&D Investment of China’s Pharmaceutical Industry in Different Regions

Objective To study the relationship between export orientation and research and development(R&D)investment so as to provide suggestions and references for improving the R&D investment level and innovation capabilities of pharmaceutical industry due to the progress of globalization and the continuous development of export trade of China’s pharmaceutical *** The relevant data of China’s pharmaceutical industry from 2001 to 2016 was selected to establish an error correction model based on the co-integration theory,and then the Granger causality test was conducted to determine the relationship between the export orientation and R&D investment of China’s pharmaceutical industry in different *** and Conclusion It is found that the export orientation of the pharmaceutical industry in different regions has a significant negative impact on the investment of R&*** them,the middle region has the greatest impact,followed by the eastern and western *** export orientation of the pharmaceutical industry in the middle region has a lag effect on R&D investment,and the lag phase is two years.

为了实现能源转型的目标,中国对太阳能的需求一直在极速增长.然而,太阳能发电潜力受到天气条件的影响并预期在气候变暖背景下发生改变.本文中,作者利用第六次国际耦合模式比较计划(CMIP6)24个气候模式的气象变量以及4个不同形式的光伏模型,预估了在2060年代低排放或高排放情况下中国的光伏发电潜力.多模式集合平均光伏功率在2004-2014年为277.2KWhm-2yr-1,并呈现出从西到东的下降趋势.到2054-2064年,在低排放情景下,全国平均光伏发电潜力将增加2.29%,而在高排放情景下则减少0.43%.低排放情景的排放控制大大增强了地表太阳辐射,促进了东部的光伏发电.相反,在高排放情景下,强烈的变暖对光伏发电产生了抑制作用.极端暖事件使光伏发电潜力在低排放情景下降低0.28%,而高排放情景下降低0.44%,分别相当于当代损失量的两倍和三倍.预估表明排放控制带来的清洁空气和适度变暖对中国未来的太阳能利用是有益的.
