Relationships of Residential Distance to Major Traffic Roads with Dementia Incidence and Brain Structure Measures:Mediation Role of Air Pollution

Background:Uncertainty exists regarding the operating pathways between near-roadway exposure and dementia *** intend to examine relationships between proximity to major roadways with dementia incidence and brain MRI structure measures,and potential mediation roles of air and noise ***:The cohort study was based on the UK *** survey was conducted from 2006 to 2010,with linkage to electronic health records conducted for *** distance to major roadways was ascertained residential address postcode.A land use regression model was applied for estimating traffic-related air pollution at *** incidence was ascertained using national administrative *** MRI measures were derived as imagederived phenotypes,including total brain,white matter,gray matter,and peripheral cortical gray ***:We included 460,901 participants[mean(SD)age:57.1(8.1)years;men:45.7%].Compared with individuals living>1,000 m from major traffic roads,living≤1,000 m was associated with a 13%to 14%higher dementia risk,accounting for 10%of dementia *** association between residential distance and dementia was substantially mediated by traffic-related air pollution,mainly nitrogen dioxide(proportion mediated:63.6%;95%CI,27.0 to 89.2%)and PM2.5(60.9%,26.8 to 87.0%).The shorter residential distance was associated with smaller volumes of brain structures,which was also mediated by traffic-related air *** significant mediation role was observed of noise ***:The shorter residential distance to major roads was associated with elevated dementia incidence and smaller brain structure volumes,which was mainly mediated by traffic-related air pollution.

Land use/land cover represents the interactive and comprehensive influences between human activities and natural conditions,leading to potential conflicts among natural and human-related issues as well as among *** study introduced economic standards for farmers.A hybrid approach(CA-ABM)of cellular automaton(CA)and an agent-based model(ABM)was developed to effectively deal with social and land-use synergic issues to examine human–environment interactions and projections of land-use conversions for a humid basin in south *** attributes and socioeconomic data were used to analyze land use/land cover and its drivers of *** major modules of the CA-ABM are initialization,migration,assets,land suitability,and land-use change *** estimates of the factors influencing the urban land-use conversion probability were captured using parameters based on a spatial logistic regression(SLR)***,multicriteria evaluation(MCE)and Markov models were introduced to obtain empirical estimates of the factors affecting the probability of ecological land *** agent-based CA-SLR-MCE-Markov(ABCSMM)land-use conversion model was proposed to explore the impacts of policies on land-use *** model can reproduce observed land-use patterns and provide links for forest transition and urban expansion to land-use decisions and ecosystem *** results demonstrated land-use simulations under multi-policy scenarios,revealing the usefulness of the model for normative research on land-use management.

针对目前岩性圈闭型压缩气体地质储能场地适宜性评价多基于静态因素,缺乏动态多因素的耦合分析,导致评估结果与实际工程应用存在较大差异这一问题,开展细化储能场地适宜性评价方法研究。通过考虑储气层储集性、储能安全性、实际操作性等方面,提出场地静态可行性分析与动态性能评估相结合的方法,并以胜利油田孤东辖区A2砂体为例开展应用研究。通过场地地质特征静态分析、GPSFLOW数值模拟软件定量评价以及现场先导性注气试验评估,结果显示A2砂体井口压力在注入标况空气9.4×10^(4)m^(3)结束后下降8.16%,显示密封性良好,符合储能空间要求。表明考虑储能系统动态性能的场地适宜性评价方法可为项目的选址和建设、储能效率的评价及优化提供更准确的数据支撑,有利于促进清洁能源利用与能源转型的可持续发展。

A Robust Blade Design Method based on Non-Intrusive Polynomial Chaos Considering Profile Error

To weaken the influence of profile error on compressor aerodynamic performance, especially on pressure ratio and efficiency, a robust design method considering profile error is built to improve the robustness of aerodynamic performance of the blade. The characteristics of profile error are random and small-scaled, which means that to evaluate the influence of profile error on blade aerodynamic performance is a time-intensive and high-precision work. For this reason, non-intrusive polynomial chaos(NIPC) and Kriging surrogate model are introduced in this robust design method to improve the efficiency of uncertainty quantification(UQ) and ensure the evaluate accuracy. The profile error satisfies the Gaussian distribution, and NIPC is carried out to do uncertainty quantification since it has advantages in prediction accuracy and efficiency to get statistical behavior of random profile error. In the integrand points of NIPC, several surrogate models are established based on Latin hypercube sampling(LHS)+ Kriging, which further reduces the costs of optimization design by replacing calling computational fluid dynamic(CFD) repeatedly. The results show that this robust design method can significantly improve the performance robustness in shorter time(40 times faster) without losing accuracy, which is meaningful in engineering application to reduce manufacturing cost in the premise of ensuring the aerodynamic performance. Mechanism analysis of the robustness improvement samples carried out in current work can help find out the key parameter dominating the robustness under the disturbance of profile error, which is meaningful to further improvement of compressor robustness.

播音与主持是一门涉及广泛、影响深远的传播艺术,既是一种语言表达技巧,也是一种社会交往能力,既是一种文化传承方式,也是一种创新思维模式。随着互联网、移动通信、数字媒体等技术的发展和普及,播音与主持领域出现了多元化、个性化、互动化、融合化等新趋势,对播音与主持专业人才提出了更高要求。文章通过文献综述法和案例分析法,从教育链产业链创新链深度融合的理念出发,探讨应用型播音与主持专业人才培养的内涵、路径、不足和建议。文章认为,应用型播音与主持专业人才培养应以社会需求为导向,以产教融合为基础,以创新能力为核心,以实践教学为重点,构建符合行业特点和专业规律的人才培养体系。文章指出当前应用型播音与主持专业人才培养中存在的问题,如教育理念落后、课程设置单一、教学方法传统、实践平台缺乏等,并提出了相应的改进措施,如加强理论与实践的结合、拓宽课程内容和形式、更新教学手段和评价方式、建立校企合作和产学研联动机制等,希望通过改进应用型播音与主持专业人才培养的模式和方法,进一步培养学生的实践能力和创新思维,提升学生的综合素质和职业竞争力,使应用型播音与主持专业人才更好地适应社会需求和产业发展。

The role of ubiquitination and deubiquitination in the regulation of cell junctions

Maintenance of cell junctions plays a crucial role in the regulation of cellular functions including cell proliferation, permeability, and cell death. Disruption of cell junctions is implicated in a variety of human disorders, such as inflammatory diseases and cancers. Understanding molecular regulation of cell junctions is important for development of therapeutic strategies for intervention of human diseases. Ubiquitination is an important type of post-translational modification that primarily regulates endogenous protein stability, recep- tor internalization, enzyme activity, and protein-protein interactions. Ubiquitination is tightly regulated by ubiq- uitin E3 ligases and can be reversed by deubiquitinating enzymes. Recent studies have been focusing on inves- tigating the effect of protein stability in the regulation of cell-cell junctions. Ubiquitination and degradation of cadherins, claudins, and their interacting proteins are implicated in epithelial and endothelial barrier disruption. Recent studies have revealed that ubiquitination is involved in regulation of Rho GTPases＇ biological activities. Taken together these studies, ubiquitination plays a critical role in modulating cell junctions and motility. In this review, we will discuss the effects of ubiquitination and deubiquitination on protein stability and expression of key proteins in the cell-cell junctions, including junction proteins, their interacting proteins, and small Rho GTPases. We provide an overview of protein stability in modulation of epithelial and endothelial barrier integrity and introduce potential future search directions to better understand the effects of ubiquitination on human disorders caused by dysfunction of cell junctions.
