The functional state of local immunity in the female genital tract during the HPV-infection

【Objective】 The study was aimed to assess the state of antigen-presenting cells(APC) and humoral immunity in the female genital tract during the HPV-infection.【Method】 This study was conducted at the sample of 30 females with verified HPV-infection.30 healthy females were examined as a *** functional state of APC was determined immunohystochemically by the frequency of the positive reaction to the major histocompatibility complex(MHC)-CII,CD1a and langerine in the samples of cervical *** following monoclonal antibodies were used: anti-DR(Dako),anti-CD1a(Dako) and anti-Langerine(LIR,Dardilly).The obtained data were analyzed statistically with performing Mann-Whitney test for independent *** data were analyzed using the software Statistica 7.0(StatSoft Inc.,USA) for Windows.【Result】 There was determined that the patients with the genital HPV-infection had the moderate deficiency of sIgA,IgА and IgG whereas IgM activity wasn't *** were also experienced the decrease of CD1a+ cells population as well as NHC-CII and Langerine+ DC in the cervical epithelium.【Conclusion】There is discussed the expedience to include the assessment of the functional state of APC of the patients with the HPV-infection into the national clinical protocols.

利用直接积分方法,求解了横观各向同性热弹材料在力-热载荷作用下的三维半平面问题。其中,材料的各向同性对称面与半无限平面平行。本文将原始热弹方程简化为仅含应力张量的控制方程,且考虑了远端应力有限性等条件已确保控制方程的正确性。计算结果显式地呈现了机械和热学载荷对热弹体的影响并满足固体连续性条件。本文给出的求解方法适用于各类半无限热弹体力-热加载问题,并可为其他求解方法提供参考。

Erosion processes in karst landscapes of the Russian plain northern taiga,based on digital elevation modeling

This paper considers the problems of the potential development of erosion processes in the natural landscapes of northern taiga in the Russian plain. It is considered that in forest ecosystems, erosion processes are slow and are weakly reflected in the terrain. However, the situation changes radically if the vegetation cover integrity is violated, which is inevitable with the modern methods of developing northern territories. Furthermore, global changes in average annual temperatures and the occurrence of karst processes may be the reason behind the development of erosion processes. The authors suggest a method for determining territories with a varying occurrence probability of erosional processes, based on digital elevation modelling. The territory of the Pinezhsky Nature Reserve(Arkhangelsk region) was chosen as the test plot. Direct field studies were previously used to detect exogenous geological processes in this territory. The authors were the first to suggest digital elevation modelling as a method that allows determining the potential danger of erosion in karst landscapes of the northern taiga. The geomorphometric studies resulted in the determination of areas with the greatest and lowest occurrence probability of erosion processes in the Pinezhsky Nature Reserve. It was established that the most significant erosion type was linear erosion, represented by incised river valleys and karst ravines. Sheet erosion is less significant and occurs as sinkholes, local declines, and chasms over the valleys of subterranean rivers.

Trilogy of Intellect as a New Method of Children Intellectual Development

The new method of intellectual development among children being investigated represents a trilogy of mind, whose main thinking operation is the logical operation of comparison. The method was created due to Aristotle"s understanding of philosophy as "the science about the first reasons and origins" of cognition?types of opposition which should be the beginning of the surrounding world"s cognition at school. As they were discovered and set in a natural line of comparative notions, the main Plato"s plan was fulfilled to reduce all particular laws to the general and to withdraw all particular laws from the general one (Plato 1993). As a result, we are talking about the building of stepwise transmission from one general notion to another more general notion that identifies the diversity of natural and social differences. As a result, it turned out to be possible to divide the whole thinking process into three related logical parts, each of which is determined by the advantageous usage of three types of cognitive means (1) Reasonable thinking is the thinking with the help of classification notions on the basis of relations of "abstract identity" and "abstract difference", which determine the law of noncontradiction either A, or not A; (2) Mental concrete-general metaphysical thinking is the thinking with the help of classification, quantitative, and comparative notions on the basis of the relation of "corresponding" and variety of mathematical and physical abstractions of different complexity being studied at school; and (3) Mental concrete-general dialectical thinking is the thinking with the help of classification and comparative notions on the basis of relation of "opposition" which allows to cognize natural and social processes. Impact of Climate and Grazing on Biomass Components of Eastern Russia Typical Steppe

Spatial and structural characteristics of plant communities in the steppe ecosystems of the Baikal region, Russian Federation have been researched in connection with climate change and grazing. The present study, based on a total of 15 typical steppe sampling plots, investigated above-ground biomass （AGB）, below-ground biomass （BGB）, total biomass （TB） and root：shoot ratios （R：S） and their relationships with climatic factors and grazing. All biomass components varied widely depending on the climatic parameters and the degree of grazing affected transformation. A strong negative correlation between mean annual temperature （MAT） and total plant biomass was revealed for all study area. Mean annual precipitation （MAP） signiifcantly affected communities productivity increasing only in the south of the region. Due to the large and mountainous territory, the inlfuence of latitude and elevation （mountain） factors on the components of the biomass were studied. Although all studied plant steppe communities were transformed by uncontrolled grazing, their productivity is signiifcantly reduced only at plots with maximum digression. Vegetation shift is an indicator of climate change, as well as providing a diagnostic tool to build predictive models. Based on the complex index of effective precipitation, it was revealed that at the end of last century in the steppes of the Baikal region the structural and production processes will be affected by an arid climate trend.

Semi-Markovian Model of Two-Line Queuing System with Losses

In the present paper, to build model of two-line queuing system with losses GI/G/2/0, the approach introduced by V.S. Korolyuk and A.F. Turbin, is used. It is based on application of the theory of semi-Markov processes with arbitrary phase space of states. This approach allows us to omit some restrictions. The stationary characteristics of the system have been defined, assuming that the incoming flow of requests and their service times have distributions of general form. The particular cases of the system were considered. The used approach can be useful for modeling systems of various purposes.

Variability of the bioluminescence characteristics of the Black Sea ctenophores-aliens in connection with different conditions of nutrition

Many ecological-physiological characteristics of ctenophores-aliensMnemiopsis leidyi A. Agassiz, 1865 and Beroe ovata Mayer, 1912 are studied quite well because they play a very important ecological role in the Black Sea ecosystem. However, bioluminescence, one of the most important elements of the ctenophores ecology and its connection with feeding regime were not studied sufficiently. Experiments have shown that characteristics of the ctenophores bioluminescence differed considerably in dependence of food supplies. Thus, amplitude and light-emitting energy of the fed ctenophores B. ovata are maximal, 3 times more than analogical indices of the just-caught individuals and 4 times more than ones of starving individuals. More prolonged flash signal (to 3.5 s), which exceeds light-emitting duration of the starving individuals twice, can be registered from the fed ctenophores. Investigation of the M. leidyi bioluminescence has shown that amplitude and light-emitting energy of the just-caught ctenophores were two times more than those of the starving individuals. At the same time, light-emitting amplitude of the fed individuals is 6.5 times and light-emitting energy is 3 - 4 times higher than that of the just-caught ctenophores. The light-emitting duration of the starving and justcaught organisms is practically the same. The most prolonged signal is registered from the fed ctenophores—up to 2.8 s. The data obtained testify that characteristics of the ctenophores bioluminescence can be conditioned not only by nutritional value but by the composition of the food as well.

Estimating the number of data clusters via the contrast statistic

A new method (the Contrast statistic) for estimating the number of clusters in a set of data is proposed. The technique uses the output of self-organising map clustering algorithm, comparing the change in dependency of “Contrast” value upon clusters number to that expected under a uniform distribution. A simulation study shows that the Contrast statistic can be used successfully either, when variables describing the object in a multi-dimensional space are independent (ideal objects) or dependent (real biological objects).
