Over the past 100 years,especially in the recent 20 years,the global average surface temperature has increased significantly,and global warming has become an important issue of global *** this paper,multiple sine functions decomposition（MSFD） method is presented to forecast the colder-winter years of *** method is an effective forecasting method,which has been applied to long-term temperature trend forecasting as well as temperature data ***,the MFSD method firstly decomposes a historical temperature sequence into multiple sine ***,by adding up those learning or fitting sine functions,a temperature model is constructed to forecast future *** on the data of the monthly-temperature（MT） from 1951 to 2014,a sequence（or say,set） of future temperature data is shown in this paper via the MSFD *** result exhibits Guangzhou’s temperature trend in the next three decades,and it matches the trend of global warming *** the same time,several potential colder-winter years are pointed out.

zhang dynamics （ZD）, which is based on an indefinite error-monitoring function called zhangian, is a powerful type of dynamics for online time-varying problems solving. Besides, gradient dynamics （GD）, which was originally designed to solve constant problems, can be generalized for online time-varying problems solving. In this paper, the tracking-control problem of a general nonlinear system with fully trackable and partially trackable paths is presented and investigated. Then, by combining ZD and the generalized GD, an innovative method called ZD-GD method is proposed to solve this tracking-control problem. Simulation results on the nonlinear system further substantiate the feasibility and superiority of the combined ZD-GD method for both fully trackable and partially trackable paths.

A novel class of neural dynamics, zhang dynamics （ZD）, has been recently proposed for online time-varying problem solving. The design method of ZD is based on an indefinite error-monitoring function called the zhang function （ZF）, instead of the conventional norm-based scalar-valued energy function. In this paper, different ZD models based on different ZFs are proposed and developed for solving the time-varying inverse square root （TVISR） problem. In addition, this paper investigates the modeling of the proposed ZD models using MATLAB Simulink techniques. Results of the MATLAB Simulink modeling substantiate the efficacy and superiority of the ZD models for TVISR problem solving.

Dynamic tracking control problems are important issues in nonlinear dynamic systems. So far, many methods have been proposed to deal with tracking control problems in different control fields. However, almost no effective method can solve the tracking control problem when tracking trajectories encounter singularities. Thus, a zhang-gradient(ZG) method proposed recently by zhang et al, which is combined by zhang dynamics(ZD) and gradient dynamics(GD)methods, is pretty effective for conquering the singularity problem in tracking control process, and has been applied in single-input-single-output(SISO) nonlinear systems. In this study, we offer the extended application of the ZG method in a multiple-input-multiple-output(MIMO) nonlinear system(i.e., Brockett integrator) to solve the singularity problem in tracking control. By the ZG method, ZG controller groups are designed for the tracking control of Brockett *** analyses and simulative verifications substantiate that the tracking errors are bounded and exponentially convergent. More importantly, comparative simulation results illustrate that the ZG controller groups designed by ZG method are superior to the ZG controller groups designed only by ZD method in conquering the singularity problem.

Population has a direct impact on the demands of consumption, resource, and employment. Population factors, such as size and growth rate, are crucial in making decisions and plans of trade, environment protection, resource allocation and human resource development. Thus, population projection is an essential part of strategy development for companies as well as governments, and draws the attention of many researchers. Some projection methods have been developed, but most of the popular ones require a vast knowledge in demography and only can be operated by skilled professionals. In this paper, as an improvement, we theoretically develop a regression model and a subtrend model of WASD（weights and structure determination）neural network in a simultaneous manner to make population projections especially of Germany in the mid term and near ***, we aim at utilizing the learning capabilities of the WASD neural-network models with single input and multiple inputs, having been very popular recently, to propose these easy-used and high accuracy models for verifications and projections via later computer experiments.

This paper introduces zhang neurodynamics（ZN） method and zhang-gradient（ZG） method used to design ZN and ZG controllers for the output tracking of systems, especially time-varying nonlinear system. Thereinto, ZG method is composed of the ZN method and gradient neurodynamics（GN） method. By applying the ZN method and the ZG method, respectively, to the output tracking control problems of time-varying linear（TVL） system and time-varying nonlinear（TVN） system, specific ZN controllers and ZG controllers are obtained. Particularly, TVL system and TVN system discussed in this paper may both have pseudo division-by-zero phenomena. From the numerical results, though ZN controllers and ZG controllers perform the output tracking of TVL system and TVN system well, the infinite value of the former and the finite value of the latter at singular instants verify that the ZG method is more effective in dealing with pseudo division-by-zero problem.

In this paper, the problem of computing time-dependent eigenvalues and eigenvectors is investigated using ZD（zhang dynamics） method. A new 7-point Zea D（zhang et al discretization） formula is then proposed. The Zea D formula is used to derive a discrete ZD model for computing the time-dependent eigenvalues and eigenvectors, which is termed as discrete ZD solution model（DZDSM）. DZDSM parameters are optimized, and the model has a good performance in double precision arithmetic. Numerical experiments are also conducted. As learned from numerical results, the truncation error of the DZDSM almost reaches the boundary of double precision with a small enough sampling gap. Besides, numerical results also verify the theory of truncation error and optimized parameters.

Cholesky decomposition is a well-known decomposition for positive definite matrix. On account of its significantly fundamental roles in linear algebra and matrix theory, there are a lot of researches and applications based on it. In recent years,solving time-varying problems has been a research hotspot, but Cholesky decomposition of matrix stream（i.e., continuous timevarying matrix） in a simple, direct and effective equation-solving manner remains a challenging issue. In this paper, the problem of Cholesky decomposition of matrix stream is attempted and solved. First, with the aid of zhang neurodynamics（ZN）, the objective equation at time-derivative level, including the time derivatives of matrix variable and its transpose, is obtained. In order to handle the objective equation with transpose of unknown, Kronecker product, vectorization technique and vectorized transpose matrix are utilized for better derivation. Thus, a ZN solution model using pseudo-inverse is proposed and numerically experimented. Finally, numerical experiment results substantiate the efficacy of the pseudo-inverse type ZN solution model.
