Emergency management capacity assessment for urban rail transit-an example of Beijing Metro Line 13

In order to improve the emergency management capability of urban rail transit system and reduce accidents during metro operation,an emergency management capability evaluation method combining analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS)is *** on the Prevention Preparation Response Recovery(PPRR)model,factors influencing the emergency management capability of the urban rail transit system are summarized from the perspective of‘human,machine,environment and management’.Then,an emergency management capability evaluation index system containing of 20 secondary indicators is constructed in four stages:emergency prevention,emergency preparation,emergency response and emergency *** weights of indicators are calculated using the AHP method,and the closeness of each indicator to the optimal solution is analysed with the TOPSIS ***,take the Beijing Metro Line 13 as an example to investigate the level of emergency management capability of urban rail *** results show that the emergency management capability of Beijing’s urban rail transit system is‘well’,among which hazard prevention measures(0.31)and emergency response team(0.34)have a greater weight on the emergency management capability of rail *** model can more accurately assess the emergency management capability of urban rail transit and provide a basis for emergency management.

Nitrogen in soils beneath 18 65 year old stands of subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests in Laoshan Mountains in Eastern China

Monitoring of soil nitrogen （N） cycling is useful to assess soil quality and to gauge the sustainability of management practices. We studied net N mineralization, nitrification, and soil N availability in the 0-10 cm and 11-30 cm soil horizons in east China during 2006-2007 using an in situ incubation method in four subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest stands aged 18-, 36-, 48-, and 65-years. The properties of surface soil and forest floor varied between stand age classes. C：N ratios of surface soil and forest floor decreased, whereas soil total N and total organic C, available P, and soil microbial biomass N increased with stand age. The mineral N pool was small for the young stand and large for the older stands. NO3^--N was less than 30% in all stands. Net rates of N mineralization and nitrification were higher in old stands than jn younger stands, and higher in the 0-10 cm than in the 11-30 cm horizon. The differences were significant between old and young stands （p 〈 0.031） and between soil horizons （p 〈 0.005）. Relative nitrification was somewhat low in all forest stands and declined with stand age. N trans- formation seemed to be controlled by soil moisture, soil mierobial biomass N, and forest floor C：N ratio. Our results demonstrate that analyses of N cycling can provide insight into the effects of management disturbances on forest ecosystems.

Genome-wide identification and characterization of the PbrATG family in Pyrus bretschneideri and functional analysis of PbrATG1a in response to Botryosphaeria dothidea

The pear is an economic fruit that is widely planted around the world and is loved by people for its rich nutritional value. Autophagy is a self-protection mechanism in eukaryotes, and its occurrence often accompanied by the degradation of damaged substances in cells and the recycling of nutrients. Autophagy is one of the mechanisms through which plants respond to environmental stress and plays an important role in plant development and stress resistance. Functional studies of autophagy-related genes (ATGs) have been performed on a variety of plant species, but little information is available on the ATG family in pear (Pyrus bretschneideri Rehd). Therefore, we analyzed the evolutionary dynamics and performed a genome-wide characterization of the PbrATG gene family. A total of 28 PbrATG members were *** analysis showed that PbrATGs were more closely related to ATGs of European pear and apple. Evolutionary analysis revealed that whole-genome duplication (WGD) and dispersed duplication events were the main driving forces of PbrATG family *** analysis of different pear tissues showed that all the genes were expressed in different pear tissues, and different PbrATGs are expressed at different times and in different locations. Moreover, all PbrATGs also responded to different abiotic stresses, especially salt and drought stress, which elicited the highest expression levels. Pear seedlings were subsequently infected with Botryosphaeria dothidea (***). The results showed that different PbrATGs had different expression patterns at different infection stages. According to the gene expression data, PbrATG1a was selected as a key autophagy gene for further analysis. Silencing of PbrATG1a reduced the resistance of pear to B. dothidea, which resulted in increased lesions, reactive oxygen species (ROS) contents, antioxidant enzyme activity, and gene expression levels in the silenced pear seedlings after B. dothidea inoculation. A functionalized activated carbon adsorbent prepared from waste amidoxime resin by modifying with H_(3)PO_(4) and ZnCl_(2) and its excellent Cr(Ⅵ)adsorption

With the application of resins in various fields, numerous waste resins that are difficult to treat have been produced. The industrial wastewater containing Cr(Ⅵ) has severely polluted soil and groundwater environments, thereby endangering human health. Therefore, in this paper, a novel functionalized mesoporous adsorbent PPR-Z was synthesized from waste amidoxime resin for adsorbing Cr(Ⅵ). The waste amidoxime resin was first modified with H3PO4 and ZnCl_(2), and subsequently, it was carbonized through slow thermal decomposition. The static adsorption of PPR-Z conforms to the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir isotherm, indicating that the Cr(Ⅵ) adsorption by PPR-Z is mostly chemical adsorption and exhibits single-layer adsorption. The saturated adsorption capacity of the adsorbent for Cr(Ⅵ) could reach 255.86 mg/g. The adsorbent could effectively reduce Cr(Ⅵ) to Cr(Ⅲ) and decrease the toxicity of Cr(Ⅵ) during adsorption. PPR-Z exhibited Cr(Ⅵ) selectivity in electroplating wastewater. The main mechanisms involved in the Cr(Ⅵ) adsorption are the chemical reduction of Cr(Ⅵ) into Cr(Ⅲ) and electrostatic and coordination interactions. Preparation of PPR-Z not only solves the problem of waste resin treatment but also effectively controls Cr(Ⅵ) pollution and realizes the concept of “treating waste with waste”.

The treatment of chronic and non-healing wounds in diabetic patients remains a major medical *** reports have shown that hydrogel wound dressings might be an effective strategy for treating diabetic wounds due to their excellent hydrophilicity,good drug-loading ability and sustained drug release *** a typical example,hyaluronic acid dressing(Healoderm)has been demonstrated in clinical trials to improve wound-healing efficiency and healing rates for diabetic foot ***,the drug release and degradation behavior of clinically-used hydrogel wound dressings cannot be adjusted according to the wound *** to the intricacy of diabetic wounds,antibiotics and other medications are frequently combined with hydrogel dressings in clinical practice,although these medications are easily hindered by the hostile *** this case,scientists have created responsive-hydrogel dressings based on the microenvironment features of diabetic wounds(such as high glucose and low pH)or combined with external stimuli(such as light or magnetic field)to achieve controllable drug release,gel degradation,and microenvironment improvements in order to overcome these clinical *** responsive-hydrogel dressings are anticipated to play a significant role in diabetic therapeutic wound ***,we review recent advances on responsive-hydrogel dressings towards diabetic wound healing,with focus on hydrogel structure design,the principle of responsiveness,and the behavior of *** but not least,the advantages and limitations of these responsive-hydrogels in clinical applications will also be *** hope that this review will contribute to furthering progress on hydrogels as an improved dressing for diabetic wound healing and practical clinical application.

GPS DATA INVERSION OF KINEMATIC MODEL OF MAIN FAULTS IN yunNAN

On the basis of GPS observations in yunnan from 1999 to 2001, we adopt the robust Bayesian least square estimation and multi fault dislocation model to analyze the quantitative kinematics models of the main faults in yunnan. The geodetic inversion suggests that: (1) The horizontal movement of crust in yunnan is affected distinctly by fault activity whose characters are consistent with geological results; (2) The activity of the north segment of the Red River fault zone is maximum, in the middle segment is moderate, and in the south segment is minimum; (3)Among others, the Xiaojiang fault zone has the strongest activity, the secondary are the Lancang fault zone and the north segment of Nujiang fault zone, the Qujiang fault zone shows the characteristic of hinge fault; (4)Each fault could produce an earthquake of M s=6 more or less per year; (5) The larger value of maximum shear strain are mostly located along the main active fault zones and their intersections; earthquakes did not occur at the place of maximum shear strain, and mostly take place at the higher gradient zones, especially at its corner.
