How galaxies assemble masses through their own star formation or interaction with the external environment is still an important topic in the field of galaxy formation and *** use Value Added Catalogs with galaxy features that are spatially and temporally resolved from Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 17 to investigate the mass growth histories of early-type galaxies(ETGs)and late-type galaxies(LTGs).We find that the mass growth of ETGs is earlier than that of LTGs for massive galaxies(M_(*)>10^(10)M_⊙),while low-mass(M_(*)≤10^(10)M_⊙)ETGs have statistically similar mass assembly histories as low-mass *** stellar metallicity of all massive galaxies shows a negative gradient and basically does not change with ***,in low-mass galaxies,the stellar metallicity gradient of elliptical galaxies is negative,and the stellar metallicity gradient of lenticular and spiral galaxies evolves from positive to *** are not all in a high-density environment,but exhibit mass *** the tidal strength increases,the star formation rate of low-mass ETGs rapidly *** results support a picture where massive galaxies exhibit inside-out quenching mode,while low-mass galaxies show outside-in quenching *** effects play an important role in regulating the mass assembly histories of low-mass ETGs.

Waxy crude oil emulsion has thixotropic properties at the temperature near gel point,which is a macromechanical characterization of the structure failure and recovery of waxy crude oil *** this paper,the thixotropic behaviors of waxy crude oil emulsion near gel point were studied using hysteresis loop formed by stress linear increase and decrease,as well as the structural recovery *** influence of the loading conditions and water content on the thixotropy of waxy crude oil emulsion were analyzed with hysteresis loop *** concept of"structural recovery"was introduced to study the degree of structural recovery after different stewing,and influencing factors were taken into *** have shown that for waxy crude oil emulsion,the failure to fully restore of the structure after lysis is the cause of the formation of hysteresis loop,and the loading conditions will not affect the strength of thixotropy and the degree of structural ***,the dispersed phase droplets weaken the thixotropy and structure recovery characteristics of waxy crude oil emulsion,and the greater the water content,the weaker the *** findings can help to better understand the safe and economic operation of waxy crude oil-water pipeline transportation.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection disrupts the epithelial barrier and triggers airway *** envelope(E)protein,a core virulence structural component of coronaviruses,may play a role in this *** could interfere with transepithelial Cl^(-)transport via impairment of the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator(CFTR),which modulates nuclear factor kB(NF-kB)***,the pathological effects of SARS-CoV-2 E protein on airway epithelial barrier function,Cl^(-)transport and the robust inflammatory response remain to be ***,we have demonstrated that E protein down-regulated the expression of tight junctional proteins,leading to the disruption of the airway epithelial *** addition,E protein triggered the activation of Toll-like receptor(TLR)2/4 and downstream c-Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK)signaling,resulting in an increased intracellular Cl^(-)concentration([Cl^(-)]_(i))via up-regulating phosphodiesterase 4D(PDE4D)expression in airway epithelial *** elevated[Cl^(-)]_(i);contributed to the heightened airway inflammation through promoting the phosphorylation of serum/glucocorticoid regulated kinase 1(SGK1).Moreover,blockade of SGK1 or PDE4 alleviated the robust inflammatory response induced by E ***,these findings provide novel insights into the pathogenic role of SARS-CoV-2 E protein in airway epithelial damage and the ongoing airway inflammation during SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Rosai-Dorfman disease （RDD）, also known as sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy （SHML）, is a rare benign entity of unknown etiology. Extranodal SHML （ESHML） may occur as part of a generalized process involving lymph nodes or may involve extranodal sites independent of the lymph node status. Here we report a case with a Rosai-Dorfman disease of the lung and review the literature.

Background Left atrial enlargement has been suggested as a more robust marker of diastolic dysfunction. We hypothesize that the ratio of left atrial volume to left ventricular volume （LAV/LVV） may be more reasonable to reflect left atrial enlargement in the patients with hypertension, because hypertensive patients have a characteristic of concentric remodeling of the left ventricle which is often accompanied with diastolic dysfunction. The aim of this study was to determine if the LAV/LVV can be used as a new parameter to assess left atrial size in hypertensive patients and the relationship between the LAV/LVV and diastolic dysfunction. Methods Ninety-one patients with hypertension and forty-three normal controls were studied. The hypertensive patients were assigned to the normal wall （NW） and hypertrophic wall （HW） groups. The left atrial diameter （LAD）, LAV, left atrial volume index （LAVi）, LVV and LAV/LVV were measured and calculated by 2-dimensional echocardiography and real time 3-dimensional echocardiography. All of the above parameters were used to evaluate the size of the left atrium. The ratio of peak E velocity of mitral valve inflow to peak E＇ velocity of lateral mitral annulus （E/E＇） was measured by pulse Doppler and tissue Doppler. This parameter was used to evaluate diastolic function. Results The LAD, LAV, LAVi, LAV/LVV and E/E＇ in hypertensive groups were significantly higher than those in the normal group （P 〈0.05 or 0.01）, and those in the HW group were significantly higher than those in the NW group （P 〈0.05 or 0.01）. The E/E＇ had a positive correlation with LAV, LAVi and LAV/LVV. The correlation coefficient between E/E＇ and LAV/LVV was relatively higher than that between E/E＇ and LAD or LAVi. Conclusion LAV/LVV may be used as a new index to evaluate left atrial size in hypertensive patients with diastolic dysfunction.

Abdominal aortic aneurysm （AAA） has a high propensity to rupture. Repair of AAA by conventional surgical replacement with a graft has been the standard of treatment since the mid 1960s. Because of advances in surgical, anaesthetic and intensive care techniques, the outcome of elective open AAA repair has improved constantly. However, with the improvement of endovascular techniques, the role of open repair is being challenged. More and more stents are being deployed in patients because of their less invasive characteristics. We reviewed our ten years of experience with elective open AAA repair and recent papers about endoluminal and open repair for AAA to discuss status and future of open repair for AAA in China.

深水油气资源将是21世纪全球油气资源开发的战略性接替区域。高沥青质含量作为深水油气资源的一个重要特征,对油气开采、储存运输和炼化过程都具有重要影响,尤其是沥青质与蜡在深水油气开发过程中的相互作用至关重要。以深水油气资源开采为契机,从沥青质结构角度,对沥青质结构表征、沥青质在油水界面的分布、沥青质对蜡结晶和原油胶凝及沉积过程影响等进行了系统论述。结果表明:沥青质结构特征可以采用原子力显微镜等进行表征,且多以多环芳烃为核心,直链或支烃基作为其支链;沥青质结构中表面官能团(亚砜基官能团、吡啶官能团等)对油水界面的稳定性影响不一;沥青质对蜡分子结晶和沉积行为影响,目前研究多集中在定性层面,微观机理分析有待深入。但分析沥青质与蜡的作用关系、作用过程及机理,将是未来主要的研究方向,能够为深水油气资源开采与输送提供理论参考和技术支持。

As an independent sand control unit or a common protective shell of a high-quality screen,the punching screen is the outermost sand retaining unit of the sand control pipe which is used in geothermal well or oil and gas ***,most screens only consider the influence of the internal sand retaining medium parameters in the sand control performance design while ignoring the influence of the plugging of the punching screen on the overall sand retaining performance of the *** explore the clogging mechanism of the punching screen,this paper established the clogging mechanism calculation model of a single punching screen sand control unit by using the computational fluid mechanics-discrete element method(CFD-DEM)combined *** to the combined motion of particles and fluids,the influence of the internal flow state on particle motion and accumulation was *** results showed that(1)the clogging process of the punching sand control unit is divided into three stages:initial clogging,aggravation of clogging and stability of *** the initial stage of blockage,coarse particles form a loose bridge structure,and blockage often occurs preferentially at the streamline gathering place below chamfering inside the sand control *** the stage of blockage intensification,the particle mass develops into a relatively complete sand bridge,which develops from both ends of the opening to the center of the *** the stable plugging stage,the sand deposits show a“fan shape”and form a“V-shaped”gully inside the punching slot element.(2)Under a certain reservoir particle-size distribution,The slit length and opening height have a large influence on the permeability and blockage rate,while the slit width size has little influence on the permeability and blockage *** microscopic clogging mechanism and its law of the punching screen prevention unit are proposed in this study,which has some field guidance significance for the design of punching screen

A new type of zeolite composite antibacterial agents was prepared by introducing zinc oxide and copper ions into 13 X zeolite through the coprecipitation and ion-exchange methods. The structural properties of the tested antibacterial material were characterized and the antibacterial activity was evaluated. In Cu^(2+)/ZnO-13 X(CZ-13), zinc oxide and copper ions were either embedded in the interlayer space or dispersed on surface of 13 X zeolite. Excellent antimicrobial activity of CZ-13 was observed on Escherichia coli(E. coli) and Staphylococcus aureus(***). In the case of Cu^(2+)/ZnO-13 X, both MIC and MBC against *** were 0.2 mg/mL and 0.8 mg/mL. For ***, CZ-13 also showed similar antibacterial properties. The bacterial cells turned from normal rod-shape into irregular shapes after treatment with the tested CZ-13. An increase of the intracellular enzyme activity after CZ-13 addition suggested that the permeability of the cell membrane increased and bacteria were damaged.
