A new and effective organic-inorganic hybrid hydrophilic anti-fog coating was proposed and prepared. As is well-known, the presence of an inorganic component typically decreases the hydrophilicity and transparency of the coating. To solve this problem, we used polyethylene glycol with two different molecular weights to modify the si- lane coupling agent and mixed it with hydrophilic copolymer to form coating formulas. We coated these formulas on polycarbonate（PC） substrates to measure the anti-fogging properties via contact angle and anti-fogging tests, com- pared their transparency properties using UV-Vis spectra and evaluated the hardness using a pencil hardness tester. The results demonstrate that the molecular weight of PEG has a strong influence on the properties of the anti-fog coatings. After the corresponding optimization, we manufactured an excellent anti-fog coating. In addition to good adhesion and hardness, the coating also exhibited excellent mechanical properties, optical transparency and perfect anti-fogging performance.

Numerous sedimentary phosphorites in Southwest China were formed around the Precambrian–Cambrian transition(PC–C),including the upper Ediacaran Doushantuo Formation and lower Cambrian Gezhongwu *** Gezhongwu phosphorites in Zhijin exhibit marked rare earth element(REE)enrichment(>1000 ppm),and may represent new REE *** the main characteristics of the Gezhongwu phosphorites have been well constrained,the REE enrichment mechanisms remain *** undertook a comparative study of three typical sedimentary phosphorites with variable REE contents formed at the PC–C transition in central Guizhou Province,Southwest *** include sections A and B of the Doushantuo phosphorites(560±8 Ma)from the Weng’an area(i.e.,WA-A and WA-B),and the Gezhongwu phosphorites(527±24 Ma)from the Zhijin area(ZJ).The phosphorites were investigated with state-of-the-art macroscale to nanoscale analytical *** contrast to the extraordinary REE enrichment in the ZJ phosphorites(average RREE=1157 ppm),the phosphorites in WA-A(average RREE=234 ppm)and WA-B(average RREE=114 ppm)are *** mapping by laser ablation–inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry,along with transmission electron microscopy analyses,showed the REEs in the studied phosphorites are hosted in nanoscale *** 87Sr/86Sr and Y/Ho ratios of the francolite grains indicate that greater terrigenous input may have led to more REE enrichment in the WA-A than WA-B phosphorites,but this cannot explain the extraordinary REE enrichment in the ZJ *** F/P_(2)O_(5)values of the francolite grains in the ZJ phosphorites(~0.097)are higher than those in the WA-A(~0.084)and WA-B(~0.084)phosphorites,and the grain size of the francolite in the ZJ phosphorites(~89.9 nm)is larger than those in the WA-A(~56.6 nm)and WA-B(~57.4 nm)phosphorites,indicative of more intense reworking of the ZJ than WA phosphorites during early diagenesis.A plot of Nd concentration versus Ce/Ce^(*)r

As a H2O2electrochemical biomimetic enzyme sensor,the stability,repeatability and sensitivity of hemin-based composites are closely connected with the loading of hemin on high-performance ***,polypyrrole/paper-derived carbon（PPy/PC） nanocomposite was used for the construction of a hemin-based non-enzymatic sensor to detect *** the poplar wood is used to obtain crude cellulose through a straightforward papermaking *** crude cellulose is then subjected to pyrolysis to yield the desired paper-based carbon *** hemin-decorated PPy/PC was demonstrated possessing remarkable electrocatalytic activity for H2O2reduction,and the possible mechanism of the reactions was *** electrochemical sensor,utilizing the HPPy/PC composite,achieved a low detection limit of 30 nM,along with enhanced selectivity and stability under optimized *** favorable results observed can primarily be attributed to the superior electrochemical performance of PPy/PC,as well as its unique 3D interconnected *** structure effectively impedes the self-dimerization of hemin,thereby ensuring the generation of active catalytic species.

Wnt/β-catenin signaling plays a critical role in colorectal cancer(CRC)tumorigenesis and the homeostasis of colorectal cancer stem cells(CSCs),but its molecular mechanism remains unclear.B-cell lymphoma 3(Bcl-3),a member of the IκB family,is overexpressed in CRC and promotes ***,we report a novel function of Bcl-3 in maintaining colorectal CSC homeostasis by activating Wnt/β-catenin *** Bcl-3 suppresses the self-renewal capacity of colorectal CSCs and sensitizes CRC cells to chemotherapeutic drugs through a decrease in Wnt/β-catenin ***,our data show that Bcl-3 is a crucial component of Wnt/β-catenin signaling and is essential forβ-catenin transcriptional activity in CRC ***,Wnt3a increases the level and nuclear translocation of Bcl-3,which binds directly toβ-catenin and enhances the acetylation ofβ-catenin at lysine 49(Ac-K49-β-catenin)and transcriptional ***-3 depletion decreases the Ac-K49-β-catenin level by increasing the level of histone deacetylase 1 to remove acetyl groups fromβ-catenin,thus interrupting Wnt/β-catenin *** CRC clinical specimens,Bcl-3 expression negatively correlates with the overall survival of CRC patients.A significantly positive correlation was found between the expression of Bcl-3 and Ac-K49-β-***,our data reveal that Bcl-3 plays a crucial role in CRC chemoresistance and colorectal CSC maintenance via its modulation of the Ac-K49-β-catenin,which serves as a promising therapeutic target for CRC.

Histone methylation is a context-dependent modification that regulates gene expression,and the trimethylation of histone H3 lysine 27(H3K27me3)usually induces gene *** colorectal cancer(CRC)chemoresistance is currently a huge challenge,but the relationship between H3K27me3 modification and chemoresistance remains largely ***,we found that H3K27me3 levels positively correlated with the metastasis-free survival of CRC patients and a low H3K27me3 level predicted a poor outcome upon chemotherapeutic drug *** stimulation significantly induced the expression of H3K27 lysine demethylase 6A/6B(KDM6A/6B),thus decreasing the level of H3K27me3 in CRC *** of H3K27me3 level through KDM6A/6B depletion or GSK-J4(a KDM6A/6B inhibitor)treatment significantly enhanced oxaliplatin-induced ***,when inhibiting the expression of H3K27me3 by EPZ-6438,an inhibitor of the histone methyltransferase EZH2,the proportion of apoptotic cells remarkably *** addition,the combination of GSK-J4 and oxaliplatin significantly inhibited tumor growth in an oxaliplatin-resistant patient-derived xenograft ***,we revealed that oxaliplatin treatment dramatically induced NOTCH2 expression,which was caused by downregulation of H3K27me3 level on the NOTCH2 transcription initiation ***,the activated NOTCH signaling promoted the expression of stemness-related genes,which resulted in oxaliplatin ***,oxaliplatin-induced NOTCH signaling could be interrupted by GSK-J4 ***,our findings suggest that elevating H3K27me3 level can improve drug sensitivity in CRC patients.
