The Permian-Triassic transition saw extreme climatic changes that severely impacted the terrestrial *** plants,particularly fossil woods,are sensitive to climatic changes,and they,therefore,are unique materials revealing extreme environmental and climatic changes on land at that *** conifer woods were discovered in the Lopingian(Late Permian)strata of the sunjiagou Formation in Shanxi Province,North *** newly finding permineralized woods record the unique landscape of Lopingian North *** represent a new conifer genus and species:Shanxiopitys zhangziensis *** *** of growth pattern and anatomical characteristics of the fossil woods indicate these trees grew under optimal growing conditions,and without seasonal growth ***,climate signals from leaf fossils,vertebrate fossils and sedimentary evidences indicate a strongly seasonal climate in North China during the ***,it is speculated that these trees likely lived in the gallery forests,which were distributed along the paleo-rivers within a seasonal landscape in the central North China block during the Lopingian.

Lacustrine shale is an important target for the exploration of unconventional oil and gas in China beyond marine shale ***,the formation environment of lacustrine shale differs from that of marine shale,resulting in a different reservoir composition,organic matter,oil and gas content,and hydrocarbon *** this study,the Chang 7 shale of the Yanchang Formation in the Ordos Basin was used to analyze the effect of volcanic activity on the paleoproductivity and preservation conditions during the formation of lacustrine *** results show that algae and bacteria were developed before the *** the eruption,the number of bacteria declined,but the increased prosperity of algae reflects that the volcanic activity enhanced ancient *** sulfate generated by volcanic activity promotes bacterial sulfate reduction,and the produced H_(2)S leads to a strong reducing environment in the waterbody,which is conducive to the preservation of organic *** geochemical analysis shows that the black shale in the shale strata has a high total organic carbon(TOC)content and strong hydrocarbon generation potential,whereas the tuff has a low TOC content and can scarcely generate hydrocarbons,indicating that the tuff deposited by volcanic activity cannot be considered as effective source *** terms of storage space,shale is mainly laminar and dispersed,and it includes organic and inorganic *** development of organic pores is affected by thermal maturity,whereas inorganic pores mainly occur between detrital particles and *** is mainly supported by heterogeneous matrix and associated with *** pores include inter-and intragranular mineral *** development of tight sandstone pores is affected by compaction,cementation,and dissolution,which mainly consist of intra-and intergranular *** Chang 7 lacustrine shale generally contains oil,but different lithologies have different oil drainage *** and

Based on the palynological data from Well Ta-19-36 and Well Ta-19-37 in the Ta＇nan Sag, and Well Ta-22-1 and Well Ta-21-1 in the Bayin Gobi Sag, a spore-pollen assemblage from the Damoguaihe Formation is named as Cicatricosisporites minutaestriatus- Aequitriradites spinulosus-Protopinus sp. assemblage in the Tamutsag Basin, Mongolia. The assemblage is characterized by abundant gymnosperm pollen and diverse fern spores, counted 46.35%–65.57% and 34.43%–52.58% in percentage respectively. Among the gymnosperm pollen, Pinuspollenites sp.（2.66%–16.94%）, Protopinus sp.（0–11.38%） and Protopicea sp.（0–10.81%） are dominant; and Alisporites sp., Cerebropollenites sp., Podocarpidites sp., and Abietineaepollenites sp. are common. Some important elements, such as Chasmatosporites sp., Callialasporites prominulus, Parvisaccites sp., Parcisporites sp., Jiaohepollis cf. annulatus, J. bellus, J. verus, Polycingulatisporites sp., Schizaeoisporites certus, Classopollis annulatus are seen. Within the fern spores, Osmundacidites wellamanii（0.85%–4.93%）, Appendicisporites sp.（0–4.45%）, Baculatisporites comaumensis（0.80%–2.87%）, Cicatricosisporites sp.（0.51%–2.66%）, C. minor（0–2.14%）, Foraminisporis asymmetricus（0–2.40%）, Aequitriradites sp.（0– 2.19%） and Cyathidites minor（0–2.13%） are dominant; and some specie of Densoisporites, Cooksonites, Impardecispora, Pilosisporites, Schizaeosprites, Fixisporites, Leptolepidites, Trilobosporites, Kuylisporites, Klukisporites, Hsuisporites, Couperisporites, Maculatisporites are seen. The angiosperm pollen are rare in the assemblage, characterized by Clavatipollenites sp.（0–0.80%） and Songipollis sp.（0–0.27%）. The geological age of the Damoguaihe Formation is assigned to Hauterivian – Barremian of Early Cretaceous according to the palynological data, due to the fact that there existed a lot of diverse spores of the family Schizaeaceae and prosperous gymnosperm saccat pollen which the corpus and sacci are differentiated completely, and the presence of

Mesozoic volcanic rocks in southeastern Jilin Province are an important component of the huge Mesozoic volcanic belt in the northeastern area. Study of the age of their formation is of great significance to recognize Mesozoic volcanic rule in northeastern China. Along with the research of rare Mesozoic biota and extensive Mesozoic mineralization in western Liaoning, a number of researchers have focused on Mesozoic volcanic events. The authors studied the ages of the Cretaceous volcanic rocks in southeastern Jilin Province using single Zircon U-Pb. The result shows that the Sankeyushu Formation volcanic rocks in the Tonghua area are 119.2 Ma in age, the Yingcheng Formation in the Jiutai area 113.4±3.1 Ma, the Jinjiatun Formation in Pinggang Town of Liaoyuan City and the Wufeng volcanic rocks in the Yanji area 103.2±4.7 Ma and 103.6±1 Ma, respectively. Combined with the data of recent publication on volcanic rocks ages; the Cretaceous volcanic events in southeastern Jilin Province can be tentatively subdivided into three eruption periods： 119 Ma, 113 Ma and 103 Ma. The result not only provides important chronology data for subdividing Mesozoic strata in southeastern Jilin Province, establishing Mesozoic volcanic event sequence, discussing geological tectonic background, and surveying the relation between noble metals to the Cretaceous volcanic rocks, but also offers important information of Mesozoic volcanism in northeastern China.

Three sporopollen assemblages are recognized for the first time from the Cretaceous Yimin Formation in the Hailar Basin of eastern Inner Mongolia. They are （in ascending order）： the lmpardecispora-Aequitriradites- Clawttipollenites assemblage; the Triporoletes-Pilosisporites-Asteropollis assemblage; and the Appendicisporites- Asteropollis-Tricolpites assemblage, distributed in Members 1, 2 and 3 of the Yimin Formation respectively. Recognition of this biostratigraphic sequence is very important for the division and correlation of the Yimin Formation in the basin. Meanwhile, the age of the Yimin Formation is considered to be Barremian to Early Albian based on the palynological data.

本文首次报道了新疆准噶尔盆地东缘胜利沟中二叠世平地泉组植物化石11属19种和晚二叠世黄梁沟组植物化石7属9种,并结合前人对这一地区中—晚二叠世植物化石记录,讨论了两个植物群的地质时代。研究认为:中二叠世平地泉组植物群以安加拉植物群为主,混生个别欧美植物群分子;晚二叠世黄梁沟组植物群为混生少量华夏植物群分子的安加拉植物群。在此基础上,探讨了中—晚二叠世植物群演替、植被变化、植物群混生与中亚造山带板块聚合之间的关系,认为中二叠世的暖温带温湿气候在晚二叠世转变为季节性干热气候,准噶尔盆地东缘中—晚二叠世植物群混生与准噶尔—吐哈地块、塔里木板块、佳蒙地块、华北板块的拼合和古亚洲洋的关闭密切相关。

Jianshanzi volcanic rocks at Qinghe valley in the northern Liaoning were considered belonging to Early Proterozoic Gaojiayu Formation of Liaohe Group, or to Early Cambrian Beidagou Formation of Qinghezhen Group, or Middle-Late Proterozoic Shenjiapu Formation-Complex of Kaiyuan Group-complex. Dating the zircons from the dacite with schistosity is 2 506 Ma in method of U-Pb (SHRIMP). This evidence indicates the rocks may be referred to Late Permian in age. Discovery of the rocks is significant to re-recognize stratigraphic property of "Liaohe Group", regional geotectonic location and revolution of orogenic zone in Qinghe valley of the northern Liaoning.

Some well-preserved conifer leafy shoots and female cones from the Lower Cretaceous Changcai Formation near Fudong of Helong, eastern Jilin, Northeast China are studied. Based on gross morphological and cuticular study, a new species, Elatides helongensis sun et Zhao (sp. nov.) is described systematically. The new species is characterized by persistent, linear or slightly falcate leaves with obtusely acute apex, attached helically on the shoots. Female cones of the new species are terminal and oval, composed of persistent helically-arranged rhomboidal scales and erect seeds. One erect seed is growing on each scale. Leaf cuticles are hypostomatic. Monocylic stomata are ellipse, composed of 2 sunken guard cells and 4-8 subsidiary cells. Moreover, the cuticles of a young female cone of Pityostrobus yingchengensis Yang are described for the first time.
