The Shenbei mining area in China contains typical soft rock from the Tertiary Period. As mining depths increase, deep soft rock roadways are damaged by large deformations and constantly need to be repaired to meet safety requirements, which is a great security risk. In this study, the characteristics of deformation and failure of typical roadway were analyzed, and the fundamental reason for the roadway deformation was that traditional support methods and materials cannot control the large deformation of deep soft rock. Deep soft rock support technology was developed based on constant resistance energy absorption using constant resistance large deformation bolts. The correlative deformation mechanisms of surrounding rock and bolt were analyzed to understand the principle of constant resistance energy absorption. The new technology works well on-site and provides a new method for the excavation of roadwavs in Tertiary deed soft rock.

Activation of metabotropic glutamate receptor la aggravates traumatic brain injury. The constitutively expressed protein Homerlb/c participates in delivering and anchoring metabotropic glutamate receptors in neurons. Here, we aimed to verify whether down-regulation of Homerlb/c by RNA interference could protect cultured rat cortical neurons from traumatic injury. We showed that 36 hours after transfection of Homerlb/c small interfering RNA, metabotropic glutamate receptor la was present only in the neuronal cytoplasm, but not in the dendrites. Calcium fluorescence intensity was also decreased significantly. Moreover, lactate dehydrogenase concentration was significantly decreased in Homerlb/c small interfering RNA-transfected cells compared with that in untransfected and control small interfering RNA-transfected cells 24 hours after traumatic neuronal injury. Our findings indicate that down-regulation of Homerlb/c could reduce metabotropic glutamate receptor la transfer from the cell body to the dendrite, relieve calcium overload, and protect neurons from traumatic injury.

随着中医舌诊的现代化研究不断推进，舌诊仪对推动舌诊客观化起着不可忽视的作用。传统的中医舌诊只是临床医生对于舌色、舌苔等的肉眼主观判断，而数码舌诊仪以及数字图像处理技术能够将舌色、苔色等通过数字直观地表现出来，得到舌体的颜色分布，舌色的饱和度、亮度等参数值，客观地反映机体生理和病理变化。文章简要介绍了数码舌诊仪的主要工作原理、技术参数、图像分割处理方法和舌象分析技术，重点综述了数码舌诊仪在推进中医舌诊客观化的过程中应用于某些常见疾病中的研究现状，并对数码舌诊仪的未来的应用和发展进行了展望。

Summary BRI1-ASSOCIATED RECEPTOR KINASE 1 （BAK1） plays critical roles in plant developmental and immune signaling pathways. BAKI and a large number of leucine-rich repeat receptor-like kinases （LRR-RLKs） harbor a mysterious carboxyl-terminal tail （CT） beyond their kinase domain. In this study we analyzed the biological significance of this CT region using a unique bak~ mutant allele which causes deletion of the CT region. We showed that BAKt CT promotes its kinase activity and is required for pathogen-associated molec- ular pattern （PAMP）-triggered immunity, but it is dispensable for brassinosteroid responses and BAK1/ BKKl-inhibited cell death signaling. Therefore the BAK1 C-terminal tail is differentially required for its functions in development and immunity.

Plant immune receptors belonging to the receptor-like kinase （RLK） family play important roles in the recog- nition of microbial pathogens and activation of downstream defense responses. The Arabidopsis mutant snc4-1D con- tains a gain-of-function mutation in the RLK SNC4 （SUPPRESSOR OF NPRI-1, CONSTITUTIVE4）, which leads to constitutive activation of defense responses. Analysis of suppressor mutants of snc4-1D identified two conserved splicing factors, SUA （SUPPRESSOR OF ABI3-5） and RSN2 （REQUIRED FOR SNC4-1D 2）, that are required for the constitutive defense responses in snc4-1D. In sua and rsn2 mutants, SNC4 splicing is altered and the amount of 5NC4 transcripts is reduced. Further analysis showed that SUA and RSN2 are also required for the proper splicing of CERK1 （CHITIN ELICITOR RECEPTOR KINASE1）, which encodes another RLK that functions as a receptor for chitin. In sua and rsn2 mutants, induction of reactive oxygen species by chitin is reduced and the non-pathogenic bacteria Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC3OOOhrcC grows to higher titers than in wild-type plants. Our study suggests that pre-mRNA splicing plays important roles in the regulation of plant immunity mediated by the RLKs SNC4 and CERK1.

Disruption of the MEKK1-MKK1/MKK2-MPK4 kinase cascade leads to activation of immunity mediated by the nucleotide-binding leucine-rich repeat(NLR)immune receptor SUMM2,which monitors the phosphorylation status of *** we report that two receptor-like kinases(RLKs),MDS1,and MDS2,function redundantly to promote SUMM2-mediated *** of SUMM2-mediated immunity is dependent on MDS1,and to a less extent on ***1 associates with CRCK3 in planta and can phosphorylate CRCK3 in vitro,suggesting that it may target CRCK3 to positively regulate SUMM2-mediated *** finding highlights a new defense mechanism where RLKs promote NLR-mediated immunity.
