Understanding the stability of terrestrial carbon sinks(S-TCS)contributes to more accurate prediction of the terrestrial carbon sink(TCS)in the context of future global change and helps inform climate change mitigation ***,focusing on China,we analyzed the spatial distribution and driving mechanisms for the S-TCS,quantified by the interannual variability of the TCS,using three independent approaches(atmospheric inversions,ecosystem carbon cycle models,and machine learning models based on flux tower observations).We found that the interannual variability of the TCS in China is relatively small compared with the conterminous United States and geographic Europe,indicating a generally stable TCS in ***,the S-TCS is lower in the North China Plain,Northeast China Plain,and western Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau than in other regions,with varying underlying *** interannual variations in precipitation and high TCS sensitivities to precipitation fluctuations explain the low S-TCS in the North China Plain and Northeast China Plain,while high TCS sensitivities to temperature variations drive the low S-TCS in the western Yunnan-Guizhou *** findings highlight the importance of considering local contexts for stabilizing and enhancing China’s TCS in a changing environment.

China announced its national goal to reach the peak of carbon emission by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060,during the General Assembly of the United Nations in September *** this context,the potential of the carbon sink in China’s terrestrial ecosystems to mitigate anthropogenic carbon emissions has attracted unprecedented attention from scientific communities,policy makers and the ***,we reviewed the assessments on China’s terrestrial ecosystem carbon sink,with focus on the principles,frameworks and methods of terrestrial ecosystem carbon sink estimates,as well as the recent progress and existing *** forward,we identified critical issues for improving the accuracy and precision of China’s terrestrial ecosystem carbon sink,in order to serve the more realistic policy making in pathways to achieve carbon neutrality for China.

The phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase （PI3K）/protein kinase B （AKT） signaling pathway is considered important for cell survival and has been shown to mediate various anti-apoptotic biological effects. This study explored the role of the Toll-like receptor 4 （TLR4）-mediated PI3K/AKT-glycogen syn-thase kinase 3β （GSK-3β） signaling pathways in lipopolysaccharide-induced apoptosis in a primary culture of hippocampal neurons. Results demonstrated that the apoptotic ratio of hippocampal neurons stimulated by lipopolysaccharide was significantly higher compared with the control group. Both the expression of P-AKTser473 and P-GSK-3βSserg in hippocampal neurons stimulated by lipopolysaccharide decreased compared with the control, while the level of active Caspase-3 and the ratio of Bax/Bcl-2 were significantly increased. The level of active Caspase-3 and the ratio of Bax/Bcl-2 in hippocampal neurons treated with TLR4 antibody or the GSK-3β inhibitor, LiCl, de-creased before intervention with lipopolysaccharide, but increased after treatment with the AKT in-hibitor, LY294002. These findings suggest that the TLR4-PI3K/AKT-GSKβ signaling pathway may be involved in lipopolysaccharide-induced apoptosis of hippocampal neurons.

多色免疫组织化学（Multiplex immunohistochemistry, mIHC）技术是一种新型多靶点病理组织染色、成像及分析技术。该技术通过在单张组织切片上检测多种生物标志物的表达水平及空间分布，实现对细胞的表型、组成、形态及细胞间相互作用机理的全面解析。近年来，mIHC技术被成功应用于肿瘤免疫研究领域，为肿瘤的诊断和治疗开辟了新的途径。本文从近年开发的mIHC检测技术出发，针对不同类型mIHC技术的检测原理及其特点进行了详细阐述，重点讨论了新型mIHC检测技术在肿瘤标志物及肿瘤微环境检测等领域中的应用，并对mIHC在肿瘤免疫诊断和治疗领域的应用前景和发展趋势进行了展望。

Soil heterotrophic respiration(Rh)is the flux of CO2 that microbes and soil fauna release to the atmosphere by extracting the energy of organic molecules that they break down[1].Rh closes the terrestrial carbon cycle by recycling more than 70%of the annual total fixed carbon to the atmosphere per year so that it can be reused by plants for photosynthesis[2].Rh plays a key role in regulating the changes in atmospheric CO2 concentrations as well as the consequential climate feedbacks[3,4].However,global Rh estimates suffer from large *** simulated global Rh value ranges from 30 to 64 Pg C a-1 by MsTMIP models[5],from 47 to 72 Pg C a-1 by Trendy models[6],and from 42 to 73 Pg C a-1 by CMIP5 models[1].High spatial heterogeneity and the close contingency of soil decomposition on environmental changes,such as temperature and soil moisture,may be a response to such great unpredictability[7].Rh is highly transient and variable at diurnal,seasonal and multiyear ***-term observations and limited in situ measurements,as well as low representativeness in many key regions with high soil carbon stocks and difficult accessibilities,such as the northern circumpolar permafrost region and high-altitude Tibetan region,make Rh the most unpredictable process in land-carbon cycle models[8].Accurate estimates of Rh at regional and global scales are thus imperative to quantify the land carbon sink,to evaluate land-carbon cycle models and to define baselines for climate change mitigation efforts.

Mesoporous tetragonal sulfated zirconia with high surface area and narrow pore-size distribution was prepared using Zr（O-nPr）4 as zirconium precursor, sulfuric acid as sulfur source and triblock copolymer poly（ethylene glycol）-poly（propylene glycol）- poly（ethylene glycol）（P123） as the template. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, N2 sorption, TEM, and NH3- TPD. A phase transformation from monoclinic sulfated zirconia to tetragonal sulfated zirconia is observed. Let M be a(2 k + 2 l + 2)-dimensional smooth manifold. For such M, Bande and Hadjar introduce a new geometric structure called contact pair which roughly is a couple of 1-forms of constant classes with complementary kernels and foliations. We show the relationship between a pair of vector fields for a contact pair and a quadruple of functions on M. This is a generalization of the classical result for contact manifolds.
