The probability hypothesis density （PHD） propagates the posterior intensity in place of the poste- rior probability density of the multi-target state. The cardinalized PHD （CPHD） recursion is a generalization of PHD recursion, which jointly propagates the posterior intensity function and posterior cardinality distribution. A number of sequential Monte Carlo （SMC） implementations of PHD and CPHD filters （also known as SMC- PHD and SMC-CPHD filters, respectively） for general non-linear non-Gaussian models have been proposed. However, these approaches encounter the limitations when the observation variable is analytically unknown or the observation noise is null or too small. In this paper, we propose a convolution kernel approach in the SMC-CPHD filter. The simuIation results show the performance of the proposed filter on several simulated case studies when compared to the SMC-CPHD filter.

Given extensive and rapid urbanization globally,assessing regional urban thermal effects(UTE)in both canopy and boundary layers under extreme weather/climate conditions is of significant *** population and economic growth in the Yangtze River Delta(YRD)have made it one of the largest city clusters in ***,we explore the three-dimensional(3D)UTE in the YRD using multi-source observations from high-resolution automatic weather stations,radiosondes,and eddy covariance sensors during the record-setting heat wave(HW)of July-August *** is found that the regional canopy layer UTE is up to 0.6-1.2℃,and the nocturnal UTE(0.7-1.6℃)is larger than daytime UTE(0.2-0.5℃)during the *** regional canopy layer UTE is enhanced and expanded northwards,with some rural sites contaminated by the urban influences,especially at *** the boundary layer,the strengthened regional UTE extends vertically to at least 925 hPa(~750 m)during this *** strengthened 3D UTE in the YRD is associated with an enlarged Bowen ratio difference between urban and non-urban *** findings about the 3D UTE are beneficial for better understanding of the thermal environment of large city clusters under HW and for more appropriate adaption and mitigation strategies.

In this paper, we propose a new centrality algorithm that can simultaneously rank the nodes and layers of multilayer networks, referred to as the MRFNL centrality. The centrality of nodes and layers are obtained by developing a novel iterative algorithm for computing a set of tensor equations. Under some conditions, the existence and uniqueness of this centrality were proven by applying the Brouwer fixed point theorem. Furthermore, the convergence of the proposed iterative algorithm was established. Finally, numerical experiments on a simple multilayer network and two real-world multilayer networks(i.e., Pierre Auger Collaboration and European Air Transportation Networks) are proposed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and to compare it to other existing centrality measures.

LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4(LNMO)spinel is one of the most promising high voltage cathode candidates for lithium ion batteries(LIBs).However,owing to the instability for organic electrolytes at 5V high voltage,it exhibits continuous oxidation,leading to the formation of unstable interface and the notorious dissolution of transition metal,which prevents the successful commercialization of ***,on the basis of energy level simulation,we present a high voltage resistant binder shielding strategy to address the challenging interfacial issue of *** strategy is to design a novel poly(γ-glutamic acid)-c-1H,1H,9H,9H-perfluoro-1,9-nonanediol(γ-PGFO)binder with superior transition metal chelating effect and well-matched energy level to guarantee fantastic interfacial *** is demonstrated that the dissolution of transition metal is significantly suppressed in the presence ofγ-PGFO binder,which excels in the *** is also noted that intramolecular hydrogen binding of the well-designed binder can generate powerful facial-contact binding,which is significant for a promising *** encapsulating this binder inside the cathode matrix,the Li Ni0.5Mn1.5O4electrode exhibits a capacity of 105.8 m Ah g^(-1)after 500cycles at 1 C with a capacity retention of 88.2%,which is significantly superior to that of polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)/Li Ni0.5Mn1.5O4electrode(a capacity of 82.9 m Ah g^(-1)and a capacity retention of 63.4%).The overall Coulombic efficiency ofγ-PGFO/Li Ni0.5Mn1.5O4electrode is prominently improved to be 99.1%,compared with 95.5%of PVDF *** presented results demonstrate a promising strategy of amino acid-based binder with strong transition metal chelating capability for boosting the rapid development of high voltage lithium ion battery.

Associative classification has attracted remarkable research attention for business analytics in recent years due to its merits in accuracy and *** is deemed meaningful to construct an associative classifier with a compact set of rules(i.e.,compactness),which is easy to understand and use in decision *** paper presents a novel approach to fuzzy associative classification(namely Gain-based Fuzzy Rule-Covering classification,GFRC),which is a fuzzy extension of an effective classifier *** GFRC,two desirable strategies are introduced to enhance the compactness with *** strategy is fuzzy partitioning for data discretization to cope with the‘sharp boundary problem’,in that simulated annealing is incorporated based on the information entropy measure;the other strategy is a data-redundancy resolution coupled with the rulecovering *** experiments show that GFRC had good accuracy,and was significantly advantageous over other classifiers in ***,GFRC is applied to a real-world case for predicting the growth of sellers in an electronic marketplace,illustrating the classification effectiveness with linguistic rules in business decision support.

The garnet-type electrolyte is one of the most promising solid-state electrolytes(SSEs)due to its high ionic conductivity(σ)and wide electrochemical ***,such electrolyte generates lithium carbonate(Li_(2)CO_(3))in air,leading to an increase in impedance,which greatly limits their practical *** turn,high-entropy ceramics(HECs)can improve phase stability due to high-entropy ***,high-entropy garnet(HEG)Li_(6.2)La_(3)(Zr_(0.2)Hf_(0.2)Ti_(0.2)Nb_(0.2)Ta_(0.2))_(2)O_(12)(LL(ZrHfTiNbTa)O)SSEs were synthesized by the solid-state reaction method.X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)characterizations indicated that the LL(ZrHfTiNbTa)O electrolyte has excellent air ***-temperature conductivity of LL(ZrHfTiNbTa)O can be maintained at~1.42×10^(-4)S/cm after exposure to air for 2 ***-element-doped garnets were synthesized to explain the role of different elements and the mechanism of air *** addition,a lithium(Li)/LL(ZrHfTiNbTa)O/Li symmetric cell cycle is stable over 600 h,and the critical current density(CCD)is 1.24 ma/cm^(2),indicating remarkable stability of the Li/LL(ZrHfTiNbTa)O ***,the LiFePO_(4)/LL(ZrHfTiNbTa)O/Li cell shows excellent rate performance at 30℃.These results suggest that HECs can be one of the strategies for improving the performance of SSEs in the future due to their unique effects.

BACKGROUND: Notch-1/NF-κB signaling plays a key role in the cecal ligation and puncture(CLP)-induced sepsis. This study aims to investigate the intervention effects of microRNA-34a(miR-34a) lentivirus regulating Notch-1/NF-κB signaling pathway on lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEC).METHODS: HUVEC were divided into four groups as the following: they were infected with negative control lentivirus(NC group) or miR-34a lentivirus(OE group); LPS(1 g/mL) was added on the third day on the basis of NC group and OE group for 24 hours(NC+LPS group or OE+LPS group). The levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, and IL-10 in the cell supernatants, and the mRNA and protein expression of Notch-1 and NF-κB in the HUVEC were ***: After 24 hours, the levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 in the cell supernatants and the protein expression of NF-κB from NC+LPS group were significantly higher than those of NC group, but IL-10 level and the protein expression of Notch-1 in NC+LPS group were the opposite. After intervention of miR-34a lentivirus, the cell supernatants TNF-α and the protein expression of NF-κB in OE+LPS group after 24 hours markedly decreased compared to NC+LPS group. While the cell supernatants IL-1β and IL-6 and the mRNA expression of NF-κB slightly decreased in OE+LPS group, IL-10 and the mRNA and protein expression of Notch-1 were the ***: miR-34a regulating Notch-1/NF-κB signaling pathway can reduce the HUVEC damage caused by LPS stimulation.
