Highly transparent anti-reflection coating enhances the underwater efficiency and stability of perovskite solar modules

Perovskite solar cells have shown great potential in the field of underwater solar cells due to their excellent optoelectronic properties;however,their underwater performance and stability still hinder their practical *** this research,a 1H,1H,2H,2H-heptadecafluorodecyl acrylate(HFDA)anti-reflection coating(ARC)was introduced as a high-transparent material for encapsulating perovskite solar modules(PSMs).Optical characterization results revealed that HFDA can effectively reduce reflection of light below 800 nm,aiding in the absorption of light within this wavelength range by underwater solar ***,a remarkable efficiency of 14.65%was achieved even at a water depth of 50 ***,the concentration of Pb^(2+)for HFDA-encapsulated film is significantly reduced from 186 to 16.5 ppb after being immersed in water for 347 ***,the encapsulated PSMs still remained above 80%of their initial efficiency after continuous underwater illumination for 400 ***,being exposed to air,the encapsulated PSMs maintained 94%of their original efficiency after 1000 h light *** highly transparent ARC shows great potentials in enhancing the stability of perovskite devices,applicable not only to underwater cells but also extendable to land-based photovoltaic devices.

Hierarchical networks are frequently encountered in animal groups,gene networks,and artificial engineering systems such as multiple robots,unmanned vehicle systems,smart grids,wind farm networks,and so *** structure of a large directed hierarchical network is often strongly influenced by reverse edges from lower-to higher-level nodes,such as lagging birds’howl in a flock or the opinions of lowerlevel individuals feeding back to higher-level ones in a social *** study reveals that,for most large-scale real hierarchical networks,the majority of the reverse edges do not affect the synchronization process of the entire network;the synchronization process is influenced only by a small part of these reverse edges along specific *** surprisingly,a single effective reverse edge can slow down the synchronization of a huge hierarchical network by over 60%.The effect of such edges depends not on the network size but only on the average in-degree of the involved *** overwhelming majority of active reverse edges turn out to have some kind of“bunching”effect on the information flows of hierarchical networks,which slows down synchronization *** finding refines the current understanding of the role of reverse edges in many natural,social,and engineering hierarchical networks,which might be beneficial for precisely tuning the synchronization rhythms of these *** study also proposes an effective way to attack a hierarchical network by adding a malicious reverse edge to it and provides some guidance for protecting a network by screening out the specific small proportion of vulnerable nodes.

Colorectal cancer causes the third most common type of malignant tumors with high morbidity and *** is currently one of the most effective and common treatments for colorectal ***,the poor water solubility of some chemotherapeutics,untargeted drug delivery,and the undesirable systemic side effects of conventional treatment remain the major issues for colorectal cancer ***,drug delivery systems(DDS)based on biomaterials have been widely investigated and found to be capable of resolving those issues with good ***,the main goal of this review is to summarize and discuss the progress and potential advantages of different DDS for colorectal cancer *** not only reviewed the nanocarriers used to improve the solubility of chemotherapeutics,including liposomes,micelles,and nanoparticles,but also discussed targeted DDS based on specific ligand-receptor recognition and tumor microenvironmental stimulus ***,locally administered systems based on hydrogels and microspheres,which have been shown to increase drug accumulation at the tumor site while decreasing systemic toxicity,were also *** provides a good option for improving the efficacy of chemotherapy in the treatment of colorectal cancer.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of Neferine(Nef)on diabetic nephropathy(DN)and to explore the mechanism of Nef in DN based on miRNA regulation ***:A DN mouse model was constructed and treated with *** creatinine(Crea),blood urea(UREA)and urinary albumin were measured in mice by kits,and renal histopathological changes and fibrosis were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining and Masson *** tissue superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA)and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)activities were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Western blotting was used to detect the expression of nuclear factor E2-related factor 2(Nrf2)/heme oxygenase 1(HO-1)signaling pathway-related proteins in kidney *** reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(q RT-PCR)was used to detect the expression of miR-17-5p in kidney ***,a DN in vitro model was constructed by high glucose culture of human mesangial cells(HMCs),cells were transfected with miR-17-5p mimic and/or treated with Nef,and we used q RTPCR to detect cellular miR-17 expression,flow cytometry to detect apoptosis,ELISAs to detect cellular SOD,MDA,and GSH-Px activities,Western blots to detect Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway-related protein expression,and dual luciferase reporter gene assays to verify the targeting relationship between Nrf2 and ***:Administration of Nef significantly reduced the levels of blood glucose,Crea,and UREA and the expression of miR-17-5p,improved renal histopathology and fibrosis,significantly reduced MDA levels,elevated SOD and GSH-Px activities,and activated Nrf2 expression in kidney tissues from mice with ***2 is a post-transcriptional target of *** HMCs transfected with miR-17-5p mimics,the m RNA and protein levels of Nrf2 were significantly ***,miR-17-5p overexpression and Nef intervention resulted in a significant increase in high glucose-induced apoptosis and MDA levels in HMC

Soft strain sensors that can transduce stretch stimuli into electrical readouts are promising as sustainable wearable ***,most strain sensors cannot achieve highly-sensitive and wide-range detection of ultralow and high *** by bamboo structures,anti-freezing microfibers made of conductive poly(vinyl alcohol)hydrogel with poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiphene)-poly(styrenesulfonate)are developed via continuous microfluidic *** microfibers provide unique bamboo-like structures with enhanced local stress to improve both their length change and resistance change upon stretching for efficient signal *** microfibers allow highlysensitive(detection limit:0.05%strain)and wide-range(0%-400%strain)detection of ultralow and high strains,as well as features of good stretchability(485%strain)and anti-freezing property(freezing temperature:-41.1°C),fast response(200 ms),and good *** experimental results,together with theoretical foundation analysis and finite element analysis,prove their enhanced length and resistance changes upon stretching for efficient signal *** integrating microfluidic spinning with 3D-printing technique,the textiles of the microfibers can be flexibly *** microfibers and their 3D-printed textiles enable highperformance monitoring of human motions including finger bending and throat vibrating during *** work provides an efficient and general strategy for developing advanced conductive hydrogel microfibers as highperformance wearable strain sensors.

Acousto-optic(AO)modulation technology holds significant promise for applications in microwave and optical signal ***-film scandium-doped aluminum nitride(AlScN),with excellent piezoelectric properties and a wide transparency window,is a promising candidate for achieving on-chip AO modulation with a fabri-cation process compatible with complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CmoS)*** study presents,to the best of our knowledge,the first demonstration of AO modulators with surface acoustic wave generation and photonic waveguides monolithically integrated on a 400-nm-thick film of AlScN on an *** intramodal AO modulation is realized based on an AlScN straight waveguide,and the modulation efficiency is significantly enhanced by 12.3 dB through the extension of the AO interaction length and the utilization of bidirectional acoustic *** intermodal AO modulation and non-reciprocity are further demonstrated based on a multi-mode spiral waveguide,achieving a high non-reciprocal contrast(>10 dB)across an optical bandwidth of 0.48 *** research marks a significant stride forward,representing an advancement in the realization of microwave photonic filters,magnet-free isolators,and circulators based on the thin-film AlScN photonic platform.

Abstract The development of physically crosslinked hydrogels with excellent mechanical and sensing properties is of importance for expanding the practical applications of intelligent soft hydrogel ***,after copolymerization of hydroxyl-containing amino acid derivative N-acryloyl serine(ASer)with acrylamide(AM),we introduce Zr4+through an immersion strategy to construct metal ion-toughened non-covalent crosslinked hydrogels(with tensile strength of up to 5.73 MPa).It is found that the synergistic coordination of hydroxyl and carboxyl groups with Zr^(4+)substantially increases the crosslinking density of the hydrogels,thereby imparting markedly superior mechanical properties compared to hydroxyl-free Zr^(4+)-crosslinked hydrogels,such as N-acryloyl alanine(AAla)copolymerized with AM hydrogels(with tensile strength of 2.98 MPa)Through the adjustment of the composition of the copolymer and the density of coordination bonds,the mechanical properties of the hydrogels can be modulated over a wide ***,due to the introduction of metal ions and the dynamic nature of coordination bonds,the hydrogels also exhibit excellent sensing performance and good self-recovery properties,paving the way for the development of flexible electronic substrates with outstanding comprehensive performances.

Defect engineering in transition metal oxides semiconductors(Tmos)is attracting considerable interest due to its potential to enhance conductivity by intentionally introducing defects that modulate the electronic structures of the ***,achieving a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between micro-structures and electromagnetic wave absorption capabilities remains elusive,posing a substantial challenge to the advancement of Tmos *** current research describes a process for the deposition of a moO_(3)layer onto SiC nanowires,achieved via electro-deposition followed by high-temperature ***,intentional creation of oxygen vacancies within the moO_(3)layer was carried out,facilitating the precise adjustment of electromagnetic properties to enhance the microwave absorption performance of the ***,the SiC@mo-t4 sample exhibited an excellent minimum reflection loss of-50.49 dB at a matching thickness of 1.27 ***,the SiC@mo-t6 sample exhibited an effective absorption bandwidth of 8.72 GHz with a thickness of 2.81 mm,comprehensively covering the entire Ku *** results not only highlight the pivotal role of defect engineering in the nuanced adjustment of electromagnetic properties but also provide valuable insight for the application of defect engineering methods in broadening the spectrum of electromagnetic wave absor ption ***@mo-t samples with varying concentrations of oxygen vacancies were prepared through in-situ etching of the SiC@moO_(3)*** presence of oxygen vacancies plays a crucial role in adjusting the band gap and local electron distribution,which in turn enhances conductivity loss and induced polarization loss *** finding reveals a novel strategy for improving the absorption properties of electromagnetic waves through defect engineering.
