Molecular Dynamics Simulation Studies on the Micromorphology and Proton Transport of Nafion/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) Composite Membrane

The perfluorosulfonic acid(PFSA) membrane doped with two-dimensional conductive filler Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) is a fuel cell proton exchange membrane with high application potential. Experimental studies showed that the proton conductivity of Nafion/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composite membrane is improved significantly compared with that in pure Nafion. However, the microscopic mechanism of doping on the enhancement of membrane performance is remain unclear now. In this work, molecular dynamics simulation was used to investigate the microscopic morphology and proton transport behaviors of Nafion/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composite membrane at the molecular level. The results shown that there were significant differences about the diffusion kinetics of water molecules and hydroxium ions in Nafion/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) at low and high hydration levels in the nanoscale *** the increase of water content, Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) in membrane was gradually surrounded by ambient water molecules to form a hydration layer, and forming a relatively continuous proton transport channel between Nafion polymer and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) monomer. The continuous proton transport channel could increase the number of binding sites of proton and thus achieving high proton conductivity and high mobility of water molecules at higher hydration level. The current work can provide a theoretical guidance for designing new type of Nafion composite membranes.

Silyl cobalt species are putative intermediates in cobalt-catalyzed transformations of ***,their reactivity has remained poorly *** here is the investigation on four-coordinate disilyl Co(Ⅱ)complexes with N-hetereocyclic carbene *** reactions of[(ICy)_(2)Co(vtms)](ICy=1,3-dicyclohexylimidazol-2-ylidene,vtms=vinyltrimethylsilane)with primary and secondary hydrosilanes(3 equiv.)furnish the four-coordinate disilyl complexes[trans-(ICy)_(2)Co(SiHRR')_(2)](SiHRR'=SiH_(2)Mes,1;SiH_(2)Ph,2;SiH_(2)Cy,3;SiHPh_(2),4;SiHEt_(2),5)in moderate to good *** structures of 1,2 and 4 were established by single-crystal X-ray *** magnetic susceptibility measurement and EPR spectroscopy indicate their low-spin nature(S=1/2).Reactivity studies on 4 led to the establishment of the conversions of 4 to the disilyl dihydride Co(Ⅲ)complex[K(THF)][(ICy)_(2)Co(H)_(2)(SiHPh_(2))_(2)]_n(6)and the fluorosilyl Co(Ⅱ)complex[(ICy)_(2)Co(THF)(SiFPh_(2))][BF_(4)](7)when 4 was treated with excess amount of K and AgBF_(4),respectively,in *** conversions hint at the high activity of low-valent and high-valent disilyl cobalt species[trans-(ICy)_(2)Co(SiHPh_(2))_(2)]^(1-)and[trans-(ICy)_(2)Co(SiHPh_(2))_(2)]^(2+).Complex 4 is reactive toward terminal alkynes,but inert toward alkenes and internal *** reactions of 4 with terminal alkynes CyC≡CH and Me_(3)SiC≡CH(3 equiv.)yield the Co(Ⅱ)complexes[(ICy)_(2)Co(C≡CCy)_(2)](8)and[(ICy)_(2)Co(C≡CSiMe_(3))((SiMe_(3))C=CH_(2))](9),respectively,along with H_(2)SiPh_(2)and alkynylsilanes RC≡CSiHPh_(2)(R=Cy,SiMe_(3)),whereas the reaction with 4-CF_(3)C_(6)H_(4)C≡CH(3 equiv.)produce[(ICy)_(2)Co(C≡CAr)((Ar)C=CH(SiHPh_(2))C=CHAr)](Ar=4-CF_(3)C_(6)H_(4))(10)and H_(2)SiPh_(2).These reactions are proposed to involveσ-bond metathesis reactions between alkyne C(sp)-H bonds and Co-Si bonds in *** 6–10 have been characterized by NMR spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction study,and elemental analysis.

Tungsten disulfide(WS_(2))has been reported to show negligible stacking dependence under ambient conditions,impeding its further explorations on physical properties and potential ***,we realize efficient modulation of interlayer coupling in bilayer WS_(2)with 3R and 2H stackings by high pressure,and find that the pressure-triggered interlayer coupling and pressure-induced resonant-to-nonresonant transition exhibit prominent stacking dependence,which are experimentally observed for the first time in *** work may unleash the stacking degree of freedom in designing WS_(2)devices with tailored properties correlated to interlayer coupling.

Investigating the mechanisms of isochorismate synthase:An approach to improve salicylic acid synthesis and increase resistance to Fusarium head blight in wheat

Salicylic acid(SA),a vital endogenous hormone,plays a crucial role in plant growth and the response to abiotic and biotic *** synthase(ICS)and phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL)are critical rate-limiting enzymes for SA *** head blight(FHB)seriously threatens the safety of wheat production,but increasing the content of SA can enhance FHB ***,the pathway of SA synthesis and regulation in wheat remains *** this study,three wheat ICS(TaICSA,TaICSB,and TaICSD)were identified,and their functions were validated in vitro for isomerizing chorismate to *** mutation of one or two homoeoalleles of TaICSA,TaICSB,and TaICSD in the wheat variety‘Cadenza’reduced SA levels under ultraviolet treatment and Fusarium graminearum infection,further enhancing sensitivity to *** of TaICSA can significantly enhance SA levels and resistance to *** further study SA synthesis pathways in wheat and avoid interference with pathogenicity related genes,the leaves of wild-type Cadenza and different TaICS mutant lines were subjected to ultraviolet treatment for transcriptomic *** results showed that 37 PALs might be involved in endogenous SA synthesis,and 82 WRKY and MYB family transcription factors may regulate the expression of ICS and *** results were further confirmed by *** conclusion,this study expands our knowledge of SA biosynthesis and identifies TaICSA,as well as several additional candidate genes that encode transcription factors for regulating endogenous SA levels,as part of an efficient strategy for enhancing FHB resistance in wheat.

Housing vacancy identification in shrinking cities based on multi-source data:A case study of Fushun city in Northeast China

Urban shrinkage has attracted the attention of many geographers and urban planners in recent ***,there are fewer studies on vacant housing in shrinking ***,this study combines multi-source remote sensing images and urban building data to assess the spatiotemporal variation patterns of housing vacancy in a typical shrinking city in *** following points were obtained:(1)We developed an evaluation model to identify vacant residential buildings in shrinking cities by removing the contribution of nighttime lights from roads and non-residential buildings;(2)The residential building vacancy rate in Fushun city significantly increased from 2013 to 2020,resulting in a significant high-value clustering *** impact of urban shrinkage on vacant residential buildings was higher than that on vacant non-residential buildings;(3)The World Pop population data demonstrated consistent spatial distribution and trend of population change in Fushun with the residential building vacancy rate results,suggesting good reliability of the constructed evaluation model in this *** housing vacancies can help the local government to raise awareness of the housing vacancy problem in shrinking cities and to propose reasonable renewal strategies.
