Integrating Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Catalysis in a Copper Nanocluster with Lewis Acid–Base Sites for Chemical Conversion of CO_(2) and Propargylamine

It remains a significant challenge to develop a catalyst that merges the advantages of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis with high reactivity and great ***,an atomically precise Cu_(6)-NH_(2) nanocluster with distorted octahedral Cu_(6) core and NH_(2)-functionalized ligands has been developed as the first homo/heterogeneous catalyst to catalyze the cyclization reaction of propargylic amines with carbon dioxide(CO_(2))under mild *** a homogeneous catalyst,Cu_(6)-NH_(2) shows excellent catalytic activity with high turnover frequency due to highly accessible active *** definite coordination geometry and homogeneity nature of active centers make it convenient to investigate the structure–activity relationship at the atomic level through experiments and theory *** addition,the nanocluster exhibits excellent stability,great recrystallizability,and reusability in five catalytic cycles,in which its catalytic performance has no obvious ***,Cu_(6)-NH_(2) incorporates Lewis acid and base sites in metal and ligand,respectively,which can promote catalytic efficiency in a synergistic effect in the absence of any ***,Cu_(6)-NH_(2) can realize direct conversion of CO_(2) in simulated flue gas into oxazolidinones with high *** metal-ligand cooperative effect and integrated advantages of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis would provide new perspectives to achieve advanced metal nanocluster catalysts for CO_(2) conversion.

In this paper,we construct a new algorithm which combines the conjugate gradient and Lanczos methods for solving nonlinear *** iterative direction can be obtained by solving a quadratic model via conjugate gradient and Lanczos *** the backtracking line search,we will find an acceptable trial step size along this direction which makes the objective function nonmonotonically decreasing and makes the norm of the step size monotonically *** convergence and local superlinear convergence rate of the proposed algorithm are established under some reasonable ***,we present some numerical results to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Diagnostic value of [^(18)F]FDG-PET/CT in acute hepatic radiation toxicity: a Tibet minipig model

There are few reports with respect to the details of acute effects(during and following RT) of ionizing radiation in liver tissue in epidemiology, pathology, physiology and imageology. Therefore, this study was undertaken to assess the diagnostic value of 2-[^(18)F]-fluoro-2-deoxy-Dglucose positron emission tomography with computed tomography([^(18)F]-FDG-PET/CT) in the detection of acute radiation toxicity in normal liver using Tibet minipigs as a model. Thirty-six male Tibetan minipigs were randomly divided into six groups(n ? 6). The irradiation groups were treated with a single dose of 2; 5; 8; 11 and 14 Gy total body irradiation using an 8-MV X-ray linac, at dose rate of 255 c Gy/min. The control group was not irradiated. The pigs were evaluated with [18F]-FDG-PET/CT, and their alanine aminotransferase(AST) and aspartate aminotransferase(ALT) activities and the ALT/AST ratio, INRatio and bilirubin were measured on Day 7 post-TBI. All pigs were killed on Day 7 post-TBI to collect liver tissues for pathological examination. The results showed that liver standardized uptake value(SUV) increased with the dose from 2 to 11 Gy and decreased suddenly at 14 Gy. HAI score showed a radiation dose-dependent increase of 2–11 Gy and was positively correlated with SUV(p\0:05). However,HAI score showed no correlation with liver ***, we concluded that [^(18)F]-FDG-PET/CT has the potential to assess acute radiation-induced hepatic injury on early stage.

Anti-scarring effect of sodium hyaluronate at filtration pathway after filtering surgery in rabbits

AIM: To investigate the anti-scarring effect of sodium hyaluronate(HA) at filtration pathway after filtering surgery in a rabbit ***: Fifteen healthy adult New Zealand white rabbits were selected for trabeculectomy in both eyes. The right eyes were used as HA group with 0.1 m L HA injected into the anterior chamber at the end of the operation;the left eyes were used with 0.1 m L sodium lactate Ringer’s solution(RS) injected into the anterior chamber as RS group. Intraocular pressure(IOP), filtering blebs morphology, inflammatory reaction and complications were observed at the 7, 60, and 90 d after ***: One day after surgery, the IOP of HA and RS groups were 12.75±1.92 and 10.50±1.59 mm Hg(P=0.005). At the 7;day postoperative, the filtering blebs of each group were functional type and TGF-β expression was significantly difference in both groups(0.10±0.01 vs 0.14±0.02, P=0.024). After 60 d of the operation, all filtering blebs were scarring and alpha-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA) expression was significantly difference in both groups(0.40±0.04 vs 0.35±0.02, P=0.032). α-SMA positive cells were mainly distributed in the junction of conjunctiva and sclera and around the blood vessels. The collagen volume fraction(CVF) of HA and RS group was(75.49±7.01)% and(79.93±5.35)%(P=0.044). On the 90;day after the operation, CVF was(82.57±5.19)% and(88.08±1.75)% in HA and RS groups(P=0.036). There was no α-SMA positive cell in HA group, while a few positive cells were observed in RS group(P=0.000).CONCLUSION: HA has effect of anti-scar and antiinflammation on filtration pathway after filtering surgery within 3 mo by inhibiting fibroblast proliferation and collagen deposition.

Whether the complex game system composed of a large number of artificial intelligence(AI)agents empowered with reinforcement learning can produce extremely favorable collective behaviors just through the way of agent self-exploration is a matter of practical *** this paper,we address this question by combining the typical theoretical model of resource allocation system,the minority game model,with reinforcement *** individual participating in the game is set to have a certain degree of intelligence based on reinforcement learning *** particular,we demonstrate that as AI agents gradually becomes familiar with the unknown environment and tries to provide optimal actions to maximize payoff,the whole system continues to approach the optimal state under certain parameter combinations,herding is effectively suppressed by an oscillating collective behavior which is a self-organizing pattern without any external *** interesting phenomenon is that a first-order phase transition is revealed based on some numerical results in our multi-agents system with reinforcement *** order to further understand the dynamic behavior of agent learning,we define and analyze the conversion path of belief mode,and find that the self-organizing condensation of belief modes appeared for the given trial and error rates in the AI ***,we provide a detection method for period-two oscillation collective pattern emergence based on the Kullback–Leibler divergence and give the parameter position where the period-two appears.

Evaluation of COVID-19 outbreak prevention and control in Beijing using the emergency management theory

Brain mechanism of acupuncture for children with anisometropic amblyopia: a resting functional magnetic resonance imaging study based on voxel-mirrored homotopic connectivity

AIM:To explore the brain mechanism of acupuncture for children with anisometropic amblyopia using the voxelmirror homotopic connectivity(VMHC)analysis method of resting functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI)technology based on clinical ***:Eighty children with anisometropic monocular amblyopia were randomly divided into two groups:control(40 cases,1 case of shedding)and acupuncture(40 cases,1 case of shedding)*** control group was treated with glasses,red flash,grating,and visual stimulations,with each procedure conducted for 5min per *** on routine treatment,the acupuncture group underwent acupuncture of“regulating qi and unblocking meridians to bright eyes”,Jingming(BL1),Cuanzhu(BL2),Guangming(GB37),Fengchi(GB20)acupoints were taken on both sides,with the needle kept for 30min each *** groups were treated once every other day,three times per week,for a total of *** the treatment,the overall curative effect of the two groups and the latency and amplitude changes of P100 wave of pattern visual-evoked potential were *** the same time,nine children with left eye amblyopia were randomly selected from the two groups and were scanned with rsfMRI before and after *** differences in the brain regions between the two groups were compared and analyzed with ***:Chi-square test showed a notable difference in the total efficiency rate between the acupuncture(94.87%)and control groups(79.49%).Regarding the P100 wave latency and amplitude,the acupuncture group had significantly shorter latency and higher amplitude of P100 wave than the control ***,the VMHC values of the bilateral temporal lobe,superior temporal gyrus,and middle temporal gyrus were notably increased in the acupuncture group after ***:Acupuncture combined with conventional treatment can significantly improve the corrected visual acuity and optic nerve conduction in children with anisometropic ***

Analytical Channel Modeling: From MIMO to Extra Large-Scale MIMO

Multiple antenna technologies, from traditional multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) to massive MIMO and the emerging extra large-scale MIMO, have consistently played a pivotal role in enhancing transmission rates by increasing the number of antennas. To guide the design of transmission strategies, channel models, especially analytical ones, are always significant tools, which can also reveal the performance improvements brought about by multiple antenna technologies. Analytical channel models have enjoyed significant success in traditional MIMO and massive MIMO systems. Nevertheless, due to the extended size of the array in an extra large-scale MIMO system, the distance between the receiver and the transmitter decreases and new channel properties, which did not manifest in massive MIMO systems, begin to kick in. To model the channel tailored for extra large-scale MIMO systems analytically, it is crucial to conduct a comprehensive review of traditional analytical MIMO channel models, which serves as a foundational step in understanding the fundamental characteristics of multi-antenna channels. In this paper, we first provide a survey on the state-of-the-art analytical MIMO channel models from the perspective of spatial correlation and signal propagation. Subsequently, we summarize the new properties of extra large-scale MIMO systems, i.e.,near-field properties and spatial non-stationarities, and their influences on analytical channel modeling. Our objective is to elucidate how these novel properties affect the analytical MIMO channel models, and ultimately facilitate the development of precise analytical channel models well-suited to the extra large-scale MIMO systems.

An efficient and impartial online algorithm for kidney assignment network

An online algorithm balancing the efficiency and equity principles is proposed for the kidney resource assignment when only the current patient and resource information is known to the assignment network. In the algorithm, the assignment is made according to the priority, which is calculated according to the efficiency principle and the equity principle. The efficiency principle is concerned with the post-transplantation immunity spending caused by the possible post-operation immunity rejection and patient’s mental depression due to the HLA mismatch. The equity principle is concerned with three other factors, namely the treatment spending incurred starting from the day of registering with the kidney assignment network, the post-operation immunity spending and the negative effects of waiting for kidney resources on the clinical efficiency. The competitive analysis conducted through computer simulation indicates that the efficiency competitive ratio is between 6.29 and 10.43 and the equity competitive ratio is between 1.31 and 5.21, demonstrating that the online algorithm is of great significance in application.
