Increasing evidence implicates disruptions in testicular fatty acid metabolism as a contributing factor in nonobstructive azoospermia(NOA), a severe form of male infertility. However, the precise mechanisms linking fatty acid metabolism to NOA pathogenesis have not yet been fully elucidated. multi-omics analyses, including microarray analysis, single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq), and metabolomics, were utilized to investigate disruptions in fatty acid metabolism associated with NOA using data from public databases. Results identified ACSL6, ACSBG2, and OLAH as key genes linked to fatty acid metabolism dysregulation, suggesting their potential causative roles in NOA. A marked reduction in omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially docosahexaenoic acid(DHA), was observed, potentially contributing to the pathological process of NOA. Sertoli cells in NOA patients exhibited apparent fatty acid metabolic dysfunction, with PPARG identified as a key transcription factor(TF) regulating this process. Functional analyses demonstrated that PPARG is crucial for maintaining blood-testis barrier(BTB) integrity and promoting spermatogenesis via regulation of fatty acid metabolism. These findings reveal the pivotal role of fatty acid metabolism in NOA and identify PPARG as a potential therapeutic target.

BACKGROUND Type Ⅱ diabetes mellitus(T2DM)has been associated with increased risk of colon cancer(CC)and worse prognosis in patients with *** effects of T2DM on postoperative chemoresistance rate(CRR)and long-term disease-free survival(DFS)and overall survival(OS)in patients with stage Ⅲ CC who receive curative resection remain *** To investigate whether T2DM or glycemic control is associated with worse postoperative survival outcomes in stage Ⅲ *** This retrospective cohort study included 278 patients aged 40-75 years who underwent surgery for stage Ⅲ CC from 2018 to *** on preoperative T2DM history,the patients were categorized into non-DM(n=160)and DM groups(n=118).The latter was further divided into well-controlled(n=73)and poorly controlled(n=45)groups depending on the status of glycemic ***,OS,and CRR were compared between the groups and Cox regression analysis was used to identify risk *** Patients in the DM and non-DM groups demonstrated similar DFS,OS,and CRR(DFS:72.03%vs 78.75%,P=0.178;OS:81.36%vs 83.12%,P=0.638;CRR:14.41%vs 7.5%,P=0.063).Poorly controlled DM was associated with a significantly worse prognosis and higher CRR than well-controlled DM(DFS:62.22%vs 78.07%,P=0.021;OS:71.11%vs 87.67%,P=0.011;CRR:24.40%vs 8.22%,P=0.015).High preoperative fasting plasma glucose[DFS:Hazard ratio(HR)=2.684,P<0.001;OS:HR=2.105,P=0.019;CRR:HR=2.214,P=0.005]and glycosylated hemoglobin levels(DFS:HR=2.344,P=0.006;OS:HR=2.119,P=0.021;CRR:HR=2.449,P=0.009)indicated significantly poor prognosis and high CRR,while T2DM history did not(DFS:HR=1.178,P=0.327;OS:HR=0.933,P=0.739;CRR:HR=0.997,P=0.581).CONCLUSION Increased preoperative fasting plasma glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin levels,but not T2DM history,were identified as risk factors associated with poor postoperative outcomes and high CRR in patients with stage Ⅲ CC.

The conventional low-temperature method of solution polycondensation was developed to realize the reaction of p-phenylenediamin and terephthaloyl chloride for the preparation of poly（p-phenylene terephthalamide）（PPTA）. Some main factors influencing this process were investigated to determine the optimum condition for high molecular weight. Experiment showed significant slowing of the reaction and gradual deviation of second-order reaction kinetics due to diffusion control. These phenomena were studied theoretically via dynamic Monte Carlo simulation. A concise expression,n～c0^-0.88·t^0.37, was proposed to describe the diffusioncontrolled polycondensation process as a function of the monomer concentration and reaction time. The theoretical results provided a good description of diffusion-effected kinetics for the polycondensation process of PPTA, and demonstrated good agreement with the experimental data. Some differences of scaling relations between model and experiment results were also discussed.

岩爆前兆信息准确识别是岩爆监测预警的关键问题。工程实践表明,岩爆灾害为静态孕育到动态破坏的过程,不稳定阶段为岩体失稳和突变导致岩爆发生的关键期,进行该阶段研究对揭示岩爆前兆信息的本质具有重要意义。研究了闪长岩不同卸荷速率声发射特征,并识别了非稳定阶段,分析了幅值、振铃计数、频率等特征,采用随机森林(random forest,简称RF)模型识别非稳定阶段幅值、振铃计数和能量等参数。研究结果表明:应力-幅值-振铃计数-时间出现平静期,相较于平静期后大、中、小值同时出现,初始频率、混响频率、累计初始频率和累计混响频率平静期后激增,且初始频率和混响频率值呈大范围分布,可作为岩爆前兆信息,该阶段均为非稳定阶段,RF模型可以较好地识别声发射非稳定阶段,准确率在81.2%以上。开展岩石力学试验对声发射参数标定,基于RF模型对某金矿非稳定阶段识别,对于岩爆灾害的监测预警有重要意义。

Synthetic dimensions have emerged as promising methodologies for studying topological physics, offering great advantages in controllability and flexibility. Photonic orbital angular momentum(OAM), characterized by discrete yet unbounded properties, serves as a potent carrier for constructing synthetic dimensions. Despite the widespread utilization of synthetic OAM dimensions in the investigation of topological physics, the demonstration of an edge along such dimensions has remained challenging, significantly constraining the exploration of important topological edge effects. In this study, we establish an edge within a Floquet Su–Schrieffer–Heeger OAM lattice, creating approximate semi-infinite lattices by introducing a pinhole in the optical elements within a cavity. Leveraging the spectral detection capabilities of the cavity, we directly measure the phase transitions of zero(±π) energy edge states, elucidating the principle of bulk-edge correspondence. Furthermore, we dynamically observe the migration of edge modes from the gap to the bulk by varying the edge phase, and we reveal that interference near the surface results in the discretization of the spectrum. We offer, to our knowledge,a novel perspective for investigating edge effects and provide an important photonic toolbox in topological photonics.

全生物降解地膜代替传统塑料地膜是解决“白色污染”的重要研究方向,但其是否能够真正实现生物降解仍是众多学者研究的焦点.以聚己二酸/对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBAT)全生物降解地膜和普通聚乙烯地膜(PE)为研究对象,以不覆膜(CK)为对照,在宁夏回族自治区平罗县开展田间试验和室内试验,观察地膜表观开裂程度、地膜面积损失以及失重率等宏观特征,结合扫描电镜(SEM)、傅里叶红外光谱(FTIR)、热重分析(TG)和CO_(2)释放量等微观特征,综合探究PBAT在银北灌区的降解特征,为其大面积推广提供数据支撑.结果表明,宏观上,PBAT地膜覆盖60 d已经开始破裂,PBAT处理110 d后地膜面积损失率为27.92%,质量损失率(失重率)达到19.04%,均远大于PE地膜.微观上,综合SEM、FTIR图谱以及热重分析,在包埋110 d后,PE地膜无明显变化,而PBAT表面结构发生很大变化,层状结构更加明显,酯基结构发生改变,热稳定性变差.室内模拟试验发现,培养90 d后,PBAT地膜的矿化率为18.30%,接近树叶的矿化率,而PE地膜几乎无矿化.

BACKGROUND Emotional reactions,such as anxiety,irritability,and aggressive behavior,have attracted clinical attention as behavioral and emotional problems in preschool-age *** To investigate the current status of family rearing,parental stress,and behavioral and emotional problems of preschool children and to analyze the mediating effect of the current status of family rearing on parental stress and behavioral/emo-tional *** We use convenience sampling to select 258 preschool children in the physical examination center of our hospital from October 2021 to September *** children and their parents were evaluated using a questionnaire ***'s correlation was used to analyze the correlation between child behavioral and emotional problems and parental stress and family rearing,and the structural equation model was constructed to test the mediating *** The score for behavioral/emotional problems of 258 preschool children was(27.54±3.63),the score for parental stress was(87.64±11.34),and the score for parental family rearing was(31.54±5.24).There was a positive correlation between the behavioral and emotional problems of the children and the“hostile/mandatory”parenting style;meanwhile,showed a negative correlation with the“support/participation”parenting style(all P<0.05).The intermediary effect value between the family upbringing of parents in parental stress and children's behavior problems was 29.89%.CONCLUSION Parental family upbringing has a mediating effect between parental stress and behavioral and emotional problems of *** paying attention to the behavioral and emotional problems of preschool-age children,clinical medical staff should provide correct and reasonable parenting advice to their parents to promote the mental health of preschool-age children.
