Management of multiple type II endoleaks detected by duplex ultrasound after endovascular abdominal aneurysm repair

We reported a case of multiple type II endoleaks detected by duplex ultrasound after endovascular abdominal aneurysm repair. The patient was undergoing warfarin therapy. Duplex ultrasound was applied as the sole surveillance method during follow-up and provided the concerned information for reintervention. The endoleaks were successfully repaired by coil embolization of the collaterals from the internal lilac artery feeding the fourth lumbar artery.

The finite autocorrelation time of thermal noise is crucial to unidirectional transportation on the molecular ***,it is important to understand the cause of the intrinsic picosecond autocorrelation time of thermal noise in *** this work,we use molecular dynamics simulations to compare the autocorrelation behaviors of the thermal noise,hydrogen bonds,and molecular rotations found in *** found that the intrinsic picosecond autocorrelation time for thermal noise is caused by finite molecular rotation relaxation,in which hydrogen bonds play the role of a ***,the simulation results show that our method of calculating the autocorrelation of thermal noise,by observing the fiuctuating force on an oxygen atom of water,provides additional information about molecular *** findings may advance the understanding of the anomalous dynamic nanoscale behavior of particles,and the applications of terahertz technology in measuring the structural and dynamical information of molecules in solutions.

The effect of spatial temperature gradient on the microstructural evolution of a 308L stainless steel during the directed energy deposition(DED)process was experimentally investigated.A novel cooling system was designed and incorporated to a DED system in order to control the temperature gradient along the deposition direction during *** deposition,the workpiece was placed on a lifting platform,and as the deposition process proceeded,the platform and workpiece were gradually lowered into cooling water so that the temperature gradient along the deposition direction could be controlled and maintained stable during the deposition *** microstructure characterization results indicated that a deposition strategy with higher G and G/R values(where G is temperature gradient and R is solidification rate)produced finer cellular grains that were better aligned with the deposition direction,while a deposition strategy with lower G and G/R values produced columnar grains with larger primary arm spacing and less aligned with the deposition direction.

BACKGROUND Macrotrabecular-massive hepatocellular carcinoma(MTM-HCC)is closely related to aggressive phenotype,gene mutation,carcinogenic pathway,and immunohistochemical markers and is a strong independent predictor of early recurrence and poor *** the development of imaging technology,successful applications of contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)have been reported in identifying the MTM-HCC ***,as an objective and beneficial method for tumour evaluation,is used to convert medical images into high-throughput quantification features that greatly push the development of precision *** To establish and verify a nomogram for preoperatively identifying MTM-HCC by comparing different machine learning *** This retrospective study enrolled 232(training set,162;test set,70)hepatocellular carcinoma patients from April 2018 to September 2021.A total of 3111 radiomics features were extracted from dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI,followed by dimension reduction of these *** regression(LR),K-nearest neighbour(KNN),Bayes,Tree,and support vector machine(SVM)algorithms were used to select the best radiomics *** used the relative standard deviation(RSD)and bootstrap methods to quantify the stability of these five *** algorithm with the lowest RSD represented the best stability,and it was used to construct the best radiomics *** logistic analysis was used to select the useful clinical and radiological features,and different predictive models were ***,the predictive performances of the different models were assessed by evaluating the area under the curve(AUC).RESULTS The RSD values based on LR,KNN,Bayes,Tree,and SVM were 3.8%,8.6%,4.3%,17.7%,and 17.4%,***,the LR machine learning algorithm was selected to construct the best radiomics signature,which performed well with AUCs of 0.766 and 0.739 in the training and test sets,*** the mul

Since Parodi et all reported the first successful case of endovascular treatment for abdominal aortic aneurysm （AAA） in 1991, the endovascular repair has become an important option for the surgical treatment of aortic aneurysms.2-4 The occluder is a newly-developed device introduced intraluminally to block the blood flow in certain arteries. It was mainly adopted by cardiologists in occluding the ventricular septal defect （VSD） and atrial septal defect （ASD）.5-6 Afterwards, vascular surgeons found it could also be used in endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms, especially when the aorto-uni-iliac （AUI） stent-grafts were implanted.7 Herein we present 6 patients with AAA, who were treated with endovascular deployment of AUI stent-grafts combined with a newly- designed occluder.

To improve the economic efficiency of urban integrated energy systems(UIESs)and mitigate day-ahead dispatch uncertainty,this paper presents an interconnected UIES and transmission system(TS)model based on distributed robust ***,interconnections are established between a TS and multiple UIESs,as well as among different UIESs,each incorporating multiple energy *** Bregman alternating direction method with multipliers(BADMM)is then applied to multi-block problems,ensuring the privacy of each energy system operator(ESO).Second,robust optimization based on wind probability distribution information is implemented for each ESO to address dispatch *** column and constraint generation(C&CG)algorithm is then employed to solve the robust ***,to tackle the convergence and practicability issues overlooked in the existing studies,an external C&CG with an internal BADMM and corresponding acceleration strategy is ***,numerical results demonstrate that the adoption of the proposed model and method for absorbing wind power and managing its uncertainty results in economic benefits.

To address the two critical issues of evaluating the necessity of implementing cooling techniques and achieving real-time temperature control of drilling fluids underground in the current drilling fluid cooling technology,we first established a temperature and pressure coupled downhole heat transfer model,which can be used in both water-based and oil-based drilling ***,fourteen factors,which could affect wellbore temperature,were *** on the standard deviation of the downhole temperature corresponding to each influencing factor,the influence of each factor was *** influencing factors that can be used to guide the drilling fluid's cooling technology were drilling fluid thermal conductivity,drilling fluid heat capacity,drilling fluid density,drill strings rotation speed,pump rate,viscosity,ROP,and injection *** nondominated sorting genetic algorithm was used to optimize these six parameters,but the optimization process took 182 *** these eight parameters'influence rules with the nondominated sorting genetic algorithm can reduce the optimization time to 108 ***,the downhole temperature has been demonstrated to increase with the inlet temperature increasing linearly under quasi-steady *** this law and PID,the downhole temperature can be controlled,which can reduce the energy for cooling the surface drilling fluid and can ensure the downhole temperature reaches the set value as soon as possible.

The evolution of microstructure,texture,and magnetic properties with random texture,near-copper texture,weak near-cube texture,and strong λ fiber(/ND(normal direction))before rolling of non-oriented electrical steel was *** recrystallized hot bands with different textures but similar grain sizes were prepared by pre-annealing at low-temperature and high-temperature normalization *** was observed that the final annealed products exhibited similar recrystallized *** contrast,the final annealed product with more 2 fiber before rolling exhibited a stronger cube *** the fiber before rolling becoming stronger,the proportion of(111)deformed matrices became larger,which could be observed in the early recrystallization *** overwhelmingly dominant 2 orientation nuclei are formed in the(111)deformed matrix and become the dominant ***,the best magnetic properties are obtained in the products with strong 2 fiber before rolling,corresponding to the strong cube texture and low anisotropyparameter.
