Realtime trigger and localization of bursts are the key functions of GECAM,an all-sky gamma-ray monitor launched on 2020 December *** developed a multifunctional trigger and localization software operating in the CPU of the GECAM Electronic *** onboard software has the following features:high trigger efficiency for real celestial bursts with a suppression of false triggers caused by charged particle bursts and background fluctuation,dedicated localization algorithm optimized for both short and long bursts,and low time latency of the trigger information which is downlinked through the Global Short Message Communication service of the global BeiDou navigation *** paper provides a detailed description of the design and development of the trigger and localization software system for *** covers the general design,workflow,the main functions,and the algorithms used in the *** paper also includes on-ground trigger tests using simulated gamma-ray bursts generated by a dedicated X-ray tube,as well as an overview of the performance for real celestial bursts during its in-orbit operation.

We present the observational results from a detailed timing analysis of the black hole candidate EXO 1846-031 during its outburst in 2019 with the observations of Insight-HXMT,NICER and *** outburst can be classified roughly into four different ***-C quasi-periodic oscillations(QPOs)observed by NICER(about 0.1-6 Hz)and Insight-HXMT(about 0.7-8 Hz)are also reported in this ***,we study various physical quantities related to QPO *** QPO rms-frequency relationship in the energy band 1-10 keV indicates that there is a turning pointing in frequency around2 Hz,which is similar to that of GRS 1915+105.A possible hypothesis for the relationship above may be related to the inclination of the source,which may require a high inclination to explain *** relationships between QPO frequency and QPO rms,hardness,total fractional rms and count rate have also been found in other transient sources,which can indicate that the origin of type-C QPOs is non-thermal.

A three-sidewalls-prism holographic method has been provided for the fabrication of 3-D fcc-type polymeric photonic crystal using negative photoresist. Special fabrication treatment has been introduced to ensure the stability of the fabricated nanostructures. The scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) and the diffraction results testified the good dependability of the fabricated structures. The simulation of the partial band structure is in good agreement with the transmission and reflection spectra obtained by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.

BACKGROUND:Consenting to do-not-resuscitate(DNR)orders is an important and complex medical decision-making process in the treatment of patients at the end-of-life in emergency departments(EDs).The DNR decision in EDs has not been extensively studied,especially in the Chinese ***:This retrospective chart study of all deceased patients in the ED of a university hospital was conducted from January 2017 to December *** patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest were ***:There were 214 patients’deaths in the ED in the three *** them,132 patients were included in this study,whereas 82 with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest were *** were 99(75.0%)patients’deaths after a DNR order medical decision,64(64.6%)patients signed the orders within 24 hours of the ED admission,68(68.7%)patients died within 24 hours after signing it,and 97(98.0%)patients had DNR signed by the family *** analysis showed that four independent factors infl uenced the family surrogates’decisions to sign the DNR orders:lack of referral(odds ratio[OR]0.157,95%confi dence interval[CI]0.047–0.529,P=0.003),ED length of stay(ED LOS)≥72 hours(OR 5.889,95%CI 1.290–26.885,P=0.022),acute myocardial infarction(AMI)(OR 0.017,95%CI 0.001–0.279,P=0.004),and tracheal intubation(OR 0.028,95%CI 0.007–0.120,P<0.001).CONCLUSIONS:In the Chinese mainland,the proportion of patients consenting for DNR order is lower than that of developed *** decision to sign DNR orders is mainly affected by referral,ED LOS,AMI,and trachea intubation.

AIM: To investigate whether long-term low-level hepatitis B virus(HBV) DNA influences dynamic changes of the FIB-4 index in chronic hepatitis B(CHB) patients receiving entecavir(ETV) therapy with partial virological ***: We retrospectively analyzed 231 nucleos-(t)ide(NA) na?ve CHB patients from our previous study(NCT01926288) who received continuous ETV or ETV maleate therapy for three years. The patients were divided into partial virological response(PVR) and complete virological response(CVR) groups according to serum HBV DNA levels at week 48. Seventy-six patients underwent biopsies at baseline and at 48 wk. The performance of the FIB-4 index and area under the receiver operating characteristic(AUROC) curve for predicting fibrosis were determined for the patients undergoing biopsy. The primary objective of the study was to compare the cumulative probabilities of virological responses between the two groups during the treatment period. The secondary outcome was to observe dynamic changes of the FIB-4 index between CVR patients and PVR ***: For hepatitis B e antigen(HBe Ag)-positive patients(n = 178),the cumulative probability of achieving undetectable levels at week 144 was 95%and 69% for CVR and PVR patients,respectively(P < 0.001). In the Cox proportional hazards model,a lower pretreatment serum HBV DNA level was an independent factor predicting maintained viral suppression. The cumulative probability of achieving undetectable levels of HBV DNA for HBe Ag-negative patients(n = 53) did not differ between the two groups. The FIB-4 index efficiently identified fibrosis,with an AUROC of 0.80(95%CI: 0.69-0.89). For HBe Ag-positive patients,the FIB-4 index was higher in CVR patients than in PVR patients at baseline(1.89 ± 1.43 vs 1.18 ± 0.69,P < 0.001). There was no significant difference in the reduction of the FIB-4 index between the CVR and PVR groups from weeks 48 to 144(-0.11 ± 0.47 vs-0.13 ± 0.49,P = 0.71). At week 144,the FIB-4 index

Objective: To explore the protective effect of bloodletting acupuncture at twelve Jing-well points on hand(BAJP) on acute hypobaric hypoxia(AHH)-induced brain injury in rats and its possible ***: Seventy-five Sprague Dawley rats were divided into 5 groups by a random number table(n=15),including control, model, BAJP, BAJP+3-methyladenine(3-MA), and bloodletting acupuncture at non-acupoint(BANA, tail tip blooding) groups. After 7-day pre-treatment, AHH models were established using hypobaric oxygen chambers. The levels of S100B, glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP), superoxide dismutase(SOD), and malondialdehyde(MDA) in serum were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Hematoxylin-eosin staining and the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling method were used to assess hippocampal histopathology and apoptosis. Transmission electron microscopy assay was used to observe mitochondrial damage and autophagosomes in hippocampal tissues. Flow cytometry was used to detect mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP). The mitochondrial respiratory chain complexes Ⅰ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ activities and ATPase in hippocampal tissue were evaluated, respectively. Western blot analysis was used to detect the protein expressions of Beclin1, autophagy protein 5(ATG5), microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 beta(LC3B), phosphatase and tensin homolog induced kinase 1(PINK1), and Parkin in hippocampal tissues. The mRNA expressions of Beclin1, ATG5 and LC3-Ⅱ were analyzed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. Results: BAJP treatment reduced hippocampal tissue injury and inhibited hippocampal cell apoptosis in AHH rats. BAJP reduced oxidative stress by decreasing S100B, GFAP and MDA levels and increasing SOD level in the serum of AHH rats(P<0.05 or P<0.01).
