Tp53 gene mediates distinct dopaminergic neuronal damage in different dopaminergic neurotoxicant models

Tp53, a stress response gene, is involved in diverse cell death pathways and its activation is implicated in the pathogenesis of Parkinson＇s disease. However, whether the neuronal Tp53 protein plays a direct role in regulating dopaminergic （DA） neuronal cell death or neuronal terminal damage in different neurotoxicant models is unknown. In our recent studies, in contrast to the global inhibition of Tp53 function by phar- macological inhibitors and in traditional Tp53 knock-out mice, we examined the effects of DA-specific Tp53 gene deletion after 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine and methamphetamine exposure. Our data suggests that the Tp53 gene might be involved in both neuronal apoptosis and neuronal termi- nal damage caused by different neurotoxicants. Additional results from other studies also suggest that as a master regulator of many pathways that regulate apoptosis and synaptic terminal damage, it is possible that Tp53 may function as a signaling hub to integrate different signaling pathways to mediate distinctive target pathways. Tp53 protein as a signaling hub might be able to evaluate the microenvironment of neurons, assess the forms and severities of injury incurred, and determine whether apoptotic cell death or neuro- nal terminal degeneration occurs. Identification of the precise mechanisms activated in distinct neuronal damage caused by different forms and severities of injuries might allow for development of specific Tp53 inhibitors or ways to modulate distinct downstream target pathways involved.

Yeast-Derived β-1,3-Glucan Substrate Significantly Increased the Diversity of Methanogens During In vitro Fermentation of Porcine Colonic Digesta

The β-1,3-glucan from yeast has been extensively examined for its immuno-enhancing effects in ***,investigation on the relationship among β-glucan,gut microbiota and immune-modulating effects remains limited particularly in *** the critical roles of gut methanogens in the microbial fermentation,energy metabolism and disease resistance,we investigated the phylogenetic diversity of methanogens from fermented cultures of porcine colonic digesta with（G） or without（N） yeast β-glucan based on sequences of the archaeal 16S rRNA gene.A total of 145 sequences in the G library were assigned into 8 operational taxonomic units（OTUs） with the majority of sequences（114/145） related to strains Methanobrevibacter millerae or Methanobrevibacter gottschalkii with high identities ranging from 97.9 to 98.6%,followed by 23 sequences to Methanobrevibacter ruminantium,2 sequences to Methanobrevibacter smithii and one sequence to Methanobrevibacter *** 142 sequences in the N library were assigned to 2 OTUs with most sequences（127/142） related to strains *** or *** with sequence identities ranging from 97.9 to 98.5%,and 15 sequences related to *** with 97.9% *** diversity index showed that the G library exhibited significantly higher archaeal diversity（P0.05） and Libshuff analysis indicated the differences in the community structure between the two libraries were significant（P0.0001）.In conclusion,the current study provides evidence that addition of yeast β-glucan significantly increased the diversity of methanogens in in vitro fermented porcine colonic digesta.

Rapid chemical recycling of waste polyester plastics catalyzed by recyclable catalyst

Waste plastics are serious environmental threats due to their low degradability and low recycling *** and efficient waste plastics recycling technologies are urgently demanded for a sustainable ***,we report a rapid,closed-loop,and streamlined process to convert polyesters such as poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PET)back to its purified *** trifluoromethanesulfonic acid or metal triflates as the recyclable catalyst,polyesters such as PET can be completely depolymerized by simple carboxylic acids within 1 *** coupling this acidolysis with a subsequent hydrogenolysis process,the consumed carboxylic acid was recovered and the closed-loop of PET depolymerization could be *** catalysts and depolymerization agents are fully recycled while only PET and hydrogen are consumed.

Research on non-steam-cured and non-fired fly-ash thermal insulating materials

A thermal insulating material is synthesized via a non-steam-cured and non-fired route by using fly-ash, sorel cement and hydrogen peroxide solution as raw material. Properties such as apparent density, compressive strength, bending strength, thermal conductivity, water resistance, and thermal tolerance of this matrial are studied, some influencing factors on its performance discussed. This material has an apparent density of 360 kg/m^3, a compressive strength of 1.86 MPa, a thermal conduction coefficient of 0.072 W/（m·K）, a softening coefficient of 0.55, and a thermal tolerant temperature of 300 ℃. Test results show that this material is light in weight, of high strength, and good thermal insulation. In addition, neither steam-curing nor sintering is needed in producing it. Further more, large amount of fly ash is used in this material, making it a low cost and environment-friendly building material.

氨部分预分解是改善氨的燃烧性能的有效手段,但对于氨预分解条件的影响仍缺乏系统的研究。该文针对基于氨预分解策略的氨扩散燃烧装置开展数值模拟研究,以分析氨预分解比例、当量比和氨分解余热对燃烧及污染物排放特性的影响。结果表明,随着氨预分解比例提高,火焰温度提高,火焰高温区更靠近喷嘴,NO_(x)排放量下降;NO排放在NO_(x)中占主导,并随着当量比的提高先增大后减小;N_(2)O排放主要发生在低氨预分解比例、低当量比条件下,在氨预分解比例达到50%后基本消失;利用氨分解余热预热燃料有助于稳定燃烧,并在氨预分解比例不超过30%时,明显减少氨泄漏而未增加NO_(x)排放。研究表明,提高氨预分解比例和当量比能有效改善氨燃烧及污染物排放特性,而在小比例氨预分解条件下应充分利用氨分解的余热。

随着特色化示范性软件学院建设的推进,大型工业软件尤其是电子设计自动化(EDA)工具的开发日益成为人才培养的重点方向。EDA工具在芯片设计中扮演着核心角色,而逻辑综合工具则是其关键组成部分。但现有课程多侧重于工具应用,缺乏对逻辑综合工具开发实践的深入教学。该文针对此问题,基于支架式教学理念,设计并实现了逻辑综合工具开发框架LoSTDeF,同时配套开发了实验内容和数据集。利用LoSTDeF,学生能够在实验中深入理解硬件设计的优化过程,提升在EDA工具开发领域的实践能力。教学实践表明,LoSTDeF不仅增强了学生对逻辑综合相关知识和算法的理解,而且有效提升了他们的实践技能。

In this paper, we study the polygamy inequality of quantum entanglement in terms of Tsallis *** first give a lower bound of Tsallis q-entropy entanglement of assistance(TOA) in the 2  d systems. The relationships between Tsallis q-entropy entanglement(TEE) and TOA are also given. Furthermore, we prove TOA follows a hierarchical polygamy inequality in a 2  2  2^(N-2) systems.
