Synthesis of nanofluids composed of deep eutectic solvents and metal-modified MCM-41 particles as multifunctional promoters for fuel oil desulfurization

Compared with traditional hydrodesulfurization,new nonhydrodesulfurization methods have the advantage of a high removal efficiency for thiophene compounds under mild ***,independent nonhydrodesulfurization technologies are faced with their own shortcomings,such as limitations of the desulfurization performance and regeneration of *** overcome these limitations,four nanofluids were prepared by dispersing different metal-modified MCM-41 particles in deep eutectic solvent as multifunctional promoters to develop a comprehensive desulfurization *** on the excellent adsorbability and high catalytic activity of the dispersed particles and the outstanding extractability of deep eutectic solvent in nanofluids,a high sulfur removal of 99.33%was achieved for model oil under mild conditions in 15 *** nanofluids also showed excellent reusability due to their high structural *** addition,NF@Cu/Al-MCM-41-2.5%exhibited the best desulfurization performance among the prepared *** result was obtained because the introduction of Al ions increased the number of acid sites and defect sites to improve the catalytic activity and adsorbability,and the best affinity of Cu/Al-MCM-41 for the deep eutectic solvent favored the reaction mass *** work opens the door to the development of a comprehensive nonhydrodesulfurization method based on the design of nanofluid materials.

Synthesis of a New Asymmetrical Ether Diamine with Aromatic Structure and Related Polyimide

A new aromatic asymmetrical ether diamine, 1,4-bis（3＇,4’-diaminophenoxy）benzene 3 was synthesized in three steps, using hydroquinone as starting material. A new aromatic polyimide containing asymmetrical diaryl ether segments was prepared from the resulting diamine with 4,4＇-oxydiphthalic anhydride （ODPA） via a conventional two-step thermal or chemical imidization method. The resulting polyimide exhibits high thermal resistance, excellent solubility, film-forming capability, high mechanical strength and modulus.

Friction Coefficient Between Rolling Tube and Mandrel of Full Floating Mandrel Mill

In the process of steel tube production, continuous tube rolling is the foremost forming procedure and the critical step that decides the dimension precision and the surface quality. In the actual production of the 4140 mm full floating mandrel mill in Steel Tube Branch in Baosteel, steel T91 was chosen to be the typical sample, self-made rolling force transducer and mandrel velocity testing equipment were used, and a series of comprehensive tests on rolling parameters including the rolling force and mandrel velocity were carried out. After the experiment, the friction state between rolling tube and mandrel was analyzed. The friction coefficient was calculated and the values of 0. 033 - 0. 074 in each mill were obtained. The friction coefficient increases obviously along the rolling direction.

Theoretical and experimental investigation on vertical tank technology for sinter waste heat recovery

In the present work, the gas flow pressure drop and gas–solid heat transfer characteristics in sinter bed layer of vertical tank were studied experimentally on the basis of the homemade experimental setup. The gas flow pressure drop through the sinter bed layer was measured with different gas velocity and particle diameters, as well as the sinter and air temperatures. The influences of gas superficial velocity and particle diameter on the gas flow pressure drop and gas solid heat transfer in sinter bed layer were analyzed in detail. The revised Ergun's correlation and gas solid heat transfer correlation were obtained according to the regression analysis of experimental data. It is found that, the pressure drop of unit bed layer height gradually increases as a quadratic relationship with increasing the gas superficial velocity, and decreases as an exponential relationship with the increase of sinter particle diameter. For a given sinter temperature, the heat transfer coefficient in sinter bed layer increases with increasing the gas superficial velocity, and increases with decreasing the sinter particle diameter. In addition, the heat transfer coefficient also gradually increases with increasing the sinter temperature at the same gas superficial velocity and sinter particle diameter. The mean deviations between the experimental data obtained from this work and the values calculated by the revised Ergun's correlation and the experimental heat transfer correlation are 7.22% and 4.22% respectively, showing good prediction.

Deep oil exploration coring technology cannot accurately maintain the in-situ pressure and temperature of samples, which leads to a distortion of deep oil and gas resource reserve evaluations based on conventional cores and cannot guide the development of deep oil and gas resources on Earth. The fundamental reason is the lack of temperature and pressure control in in-situ coring environments. In this paper, a pressure control method of a coring device is studied. The theory and method of deep intelligent temperature-pressure coupling control are innovatively proposed, and a multifield coupling dynamic sealing model is established. The optimal cardinality three term PID (Proportional-Integral-Differential) intelligent control algorithm of pressure system is developed. The temperature-pressure characteristic of the gas-liquid two-phase cavity is analyzed, and the pressure intelligent control is carried out based on three term PID control algorithms. An in-situ condition-preserved coring (ICP-Coring) device is developed, and an intelligent control system for the temperature and pressure of the coring device is designed and verified by experiments. The results show that the temperature-pressure coupling control system can effectively realize stable sealing under temperature-pressure fields of 140 MPa and 150 °C. The temperature-pressure coupling control method can accurately realize a constant pressure inside the coring device. The maximum working pressure is 140 MPa, and the effective pressure compensation range is 20 MPa. The numerical simulation experiment of pressure system control algorithm is carried out, and the optimal cardinality and three term coefficients are obtained. The pressure steady-state error is less than 0.01%. The method of temperature-pressure coupling control has guiding significance for coring device research, and is also the basis for temperature-pressure decoupling control in ICP-Coring.

The stabilization energies of substituted lithium carbene cations were calculated by using ab initio molecular orbital theory, and the relationship between the stabilization energies and molecular orbitals was discussed. The substituents with pi donor engender strong stabilization to CH2Li+. The calculations show the Y-C* bond lengths of cations become shorter and H-Y bond lengths longer than those of corresponding neutral molecules.

Solvent effects on gold nanoparticle formation from photochemical reduction of Au(Ⅲ)by UV irradiation

Colloidal gold nanoparticles(AuNPs) have attracted more and more attention in areas of materials science, biotechnology and organic chemistry due to their unique functions as molecular markers and their applications in diagnostic imaging and catalysis. The AuNP synthesis approaches have been well developed; however, the solvent effects have not been systematically studied *** we analyzed and compared solvent effects on AuNP formation using UV irradiation of Au(Ⅲ) without adding any other ligands. By monitoring the surface plasmonresonance absorption of Au(Ⅲ)-containing solutions,results showed that both ketone and alcohol solvents can induce Au(Ⅲ) to form gold nanospheres; on the other hand, solvents like ACN and THF can induce Au(Ⅲ) to form nanostructures with longer dimensions. The possible mechanism was discussed, which could facilitate efficient photochemical synthesis of AuNPs and might apply to other metal NP synthesis.

Role of Hiraoka's transurethral detachment of the prostate combined with biopsy of the peripheral zone during the same session in patients with repeated negative biopsies in the diagnosis of prostate cancer

BACKGROUND Persistent suspicion of prostate cancer(PCa)due to a rising prostate-specific antigen(PSA)level after repeated negative biopsies is a serious challenge in clinical *** To determine the role of Hiraoka’s transurethral detachment of the prostate(TUDP)combined with biopsy of the peripheral zone during the same session in patients with repeated negative biopsies in the diagnosis of *** We retrospectively evaluated the records of 10 patients who were eligible for inclusion in our hospital between December 2012 and August *** demographics,a family history of PCa,the number of biopsies,prostate volume,pathological examination,and perioperative PSA level were *** Two of 10 patients were pathologically diagnosed with PCa after surgery;the Gleason scores were 4+4 and 4+3,*** patients subsequently underwent laparoscopic radical *** median PSA levels preoperatively,and 3 mo and 1 year postoperatively in the other eight patients who were diagnosed with benign prostate hyperplasia after surgery were 19.10 ng/mL,1.10 ng/mL,and 1.15 ng/mL,*** adjusted P values of the 3-mo and 1-year post-operative PSA level vs pre-operative PSA level were 0.003 and 0.026,*** of the patients had increased PSA levels or PCa detected after a median 35 mo of *** TUDP combined with peripheral zone biopsy may improve the detection rate of PCa in patients with repeated negative *** PSA level declined rapidly in patients who had negative pathological examinations after TUDP,which remained stable 1 year after surgery.

Large unsaturated positive and negative magnetoresistance in Weyl semimetal TaP

After successfully growing single-crystal TaP, we measured its longitudinal resistivity （Pxx） and Hall resistivity （Pyx） at magnetic fields up to 9 T in the temperature range of 2-300 K. At 8 T, the magnetoresistance （MR） reached 3.28 ×10^5% at 2 K, 176% at 300 K. Neither value appeared saturated. We confirmed that TaP is a hole-electron compensated semimetal with a low carrier concentration and high hole mobility ofμh=3.71 × 105 cm2/V s, and found that a magnetic-field-induced metal-insulator transition occurs at room temperature. Remarkably, because a magnetic field （H） was applied in parallel to the electric field （E）, a negative MR due to a chiral anomaly was observed and reached -3000% at 9 T without any sign of saturation, either, which is in contrast to other Weyl semimetals （WSMs）. The analysis of the Shubnikov-de Haas （SdH） oscillations superimposed on the MR revealed that a nontrivial Berry＇s phase with a strong offset of 0.3958, which is the characteristic feature of charge carriers enclosing a Weyl node. These results indicate that TaP is a promising candidate not only for revealing fundamental physics of the WSM state but also for some novel applications.

Constructing a Novel Three-Dimensional Biomimetic Corneal Endothelium Graft by Culturing Corneal Endothelium Cells on Compressed Collagen Gels

Background： Endothelium allotransplantation is the primary treatment for corneal decompensation. The worldwide shortage of donor corneal tissue has led to increasing pressure to seek an alternative for surgical restoration of corneal endothelium. Compressed collagen （CC） gels have excellent biocompatibility, simple preparation course and easy to be manipulated. This study aimed to form a new biomimetic endothelium graft by CC. Methods： We expanded bovine corneal endothelial cells （B-CECs） on laminin-coated CC to form a biomimetic endothelium graft. Scanning electron microscope was used for ultrastructural analysis and tight junction protein ZO-1 expression was tested by immunohistochemistry. Results： The biomimetic endothelium graft, we conducted had normal cell morphology, ultrastructure and higher cell density （3612.2 ±43.4 cells/mm2）. ZO-1 localization at B-CECs membrane indicated the bioengineered grail possess the basic endothelium function. Conclusions： A biomimetic endothelium graft with B-CECs expanded on CC sheet was constructed, which possessed cells＇ morphology similar to that of in vivo endothelial cells and specific basic function ofendothelium layer. This method provided the possibility of using one donor＇s cornea to form multiple uniformed endothelium grafts so as to overcome the shortage ofcadaveric cornea tissue.
